I love how most people in the fanbase agree that Arthur is not attractive lol

I don’t know if it’s “most” lol, but I actually really enjoy the headcanon that Arthur isn’t conventionally attractive—because it makes him a lot more interesting to me. That doesn’t mean he isn’t good at striking up a rapport with people or politicking and schmoozing when need be—quite the contrary He’s got a forceful personality that can command attention—and he can be hospitable and charming (in a different sort of way from Alfred) but also blunt and awfully good at taking people apart verbally. The image I have of Arthur is you know, this thousand year old being. If you think of the fae in English and Celtic folklore generally—that kind of unnerving magnetism—with a penchant for trickery. 

Very specifically, I really enjoy digging into the contrast between Arthur and Alfred that way. Alfred’s the one who is handsome in a more universal way. Hollywood smile. Tall and well-built. Charm and glamour. Flashy, at times.  Nicely balanced features. His old man? A very different sort of operator—who can’t and doesn’t lean quite so hard on being conventionally attractive. When I think of Arthur, I think of sharper angles and bone ngl. He’s more discreet and attracts people with a more dry sort of wit, compared to Alfred’s open, loud gregariousness. Underlying that, they’re still very much father and son—intelligent, at times manipulative and good at ensnaring people (in different ways).

Ahhh I love your art! Your lines look so nice and you color so well..... And I love the way you draw Liechtenstein! Somehow it's really unique, could you maybe draw her again, please?
