My Happy Place A submission for a competition I didn’t win. However, I had a lot of fun making this one, and I feel like I’ve learned quite a lot with it too. I wanted to focus on me and my imagination, as that’s why everything else is blue

So I’m gonna begin working as a Comics Art teacher, within Lidköping, Sweden and if you live in the vicinity or close and want to learn how, come! :D (this is one of the reasons I’ve been so silent, but also because I’m working really hard on a comic that is due to be released in two months so… 8D) Anyway, so there’s that and yeah!

As promised, the 2009 vs 2019 image! :D Like I said yesterday, I really love how the first image looks like. I’ve learned so much during these years, like composition and such, to make an image look more interesting to look at. It comes naturally to me now, and it’s only after I upload the image, that I notice it, haha! The first one was made with Promarkers, the other one digitally with Photoshop CS6. However, the lineart on the right was made traditionally! :D
A redraw from an old image! I’ll show you what it looked liked tomorrow! I really liked how this turned out? Like, this was kind of what I wanted when I drew the original one in 2009, but didn’t quite had the means to make it completely out of my head. That, however, does not mean that I don’t like the older image at all! In fact, I still really like it alot. Colours doesn’t have to make sense sometimes, in order to convey the feeling of the image. ;)
