“Listen all I’m saying that if I’m gonna die young then a viking funeral sounds nice, and if that’s to much to ask for then can someone at least yeet some of my ashes out of a canon?”

He nodded and looked through the games, taking out a few that interested him going off their covers and descriptions. At Twelve’s question, he thought it over before deciding. “Pepperoni sounds pretty good, if I’m being honest.”
It was pretty nice that Twelve wanted to make sure he voiced his favorites as well, whether it was to make sure Sora had what he liked or to do with allergies, he was just glad he had came across someone nice in this place.
“Hmm…maybe something centered around helping people, or combat work. I’m a pretty decent fighter and I’d like to do what I can to help out here as much as possible. Do you know anything like that?” He asked.
Image

“Well Nine and I are in the Kingsglaive army.” He stated after putting in the pizza order, gesturing to his uniform that he had just lazily thrown over a chair rather than hanging up.

“They’re the only military division around here that accepts immigrants so you should be fine as long as you can pass the psychical and boot camp, but combat out there against the Empire can get pretty tough. You sure it’s something you wanna do?”

Having Sora as a comrade in arms would certainly be fun considering the rest of the Glaives still barely trusted either of them once their birth place became known.

“I’m positive I will, once I get my bearings! But staying here tonight sounds great, and we can continue having fun.” Sora had really been enjoying himself so far and hadn’t wanted to leave. Plus he was glad that Nine wouldn’t mind either.

Sora was content to stay sitting while Twelve took care of his own business. It was nice to have a friend in this new place, Sora had been worried he wouldn’t have met anyone willing to help him out.

“Yeah, plus we can hang out more and get to know each other better as well.”

He wanted to hang out with Twelve more, because he seemed pretty cool and he’d really helped Sora out when he needed it the most.

“Should we try out some more games?”

Image

“Yeah go ahead and take your pick from the stack. I’ll get us some pizza, anything you’d like in particular?”

Already he was on his phone putting in his own pizza order, but still wanted to make sure Sora would voice his favorites as well, especially if he had allergies.

“What kind of work do you think you’ll look for while you’re here? I can try and help out a little before I get called away for training or a mission.”

No request from Nine, and a humble one from Twelve. He certainly found some good kids; if only he could do more for them. “It will take a bit of time to set up rooms for you both, but for the time being…” Klaus started down a hallways leading further into the building. “If you’ll follow me.” He urged with an over the shoulder glance.
image
He led them to a smaller room that was currently being used for storage, but it could easily be cleared out. “At the moment this is the only room we can accommodate you with, but give us a few days and we can have it made up for you Twelve. Nine, we will arrange another room for you in that time as well. For now please forgive me for asking that you room together.”
image

“Oh that won’t be a problem at all. We’ve been pretty inseparable since we met as kids.”

Reaching up to ruffle Nine’s hair for a moment the vampire could only grunt in response, but Twelve didn’t expect anything else.

“Why don’t we help you clean it out today? It’s not like we have anything better to do.”

That of course earned Twelve a glare from Nine, but the grumpy vampire still didn’t say anything. Nine may have been the one that had been in charge over the years, but Twelve certainly did know how to drag him along just enough that Nine didn’t actually complain.

N-1P01387 05953234 wasn’t scared or afraid of the other MT Unit since he himself has had experiments done on him, but nowhere near what Twelve was put through. His own eyes had traces of red in them each time he’d been given the daemon blood, but the only bad thing is the fact that his body keeps rejecting the injections of daemon blood.
When Twelve told him where to find the way to free him from his room that he was stuck inside of before making his way to the keypad and started to work on it since Loqi taught him how to bypass the,
I believe so? ❞ He nods his head some since he did look outside before he approached Twelve’s room and noticed that it was dark outside the windows.

Sighing in relief as one of his worries was taken care of, he still knew he needed to get a solid plan together before the sun rose in a matter of hours. Nine was still out there somewhere, likely already looking for him since he had evaded capture altogether.

“Do you have a name?” He asked softly, realizing that the blonde before him was an MT, but still had a decent amount of humanity left in him all the same.

Avatar
A year. It had been a solid year since the blond managed to falsify his death. It wasn’t easy, and in the event he used to do so he nearly did lose his life. Partially by choice, but some other fool who he knew from his past decided to tail him, and rush him to the hospital after Ash had passed out in the library from blood loss. Blanca. That man was truly an enigma. An annoying one.
And now, ever since, he’d been working tirelessly to try and erase his existence, even going so far as to go into full hiding. Not even what remained of his gang at this point, knew he was still alive. The ex-hitman was the only one who knew of his breathing status, everyone else, as far as the world was concerned, Ash Lynx was dead. Six feet under.
Letting a decent amount of time pass without his picture on TV helped people forget his face, forget about Dino Golzine, the Corsician Group, and his prodigal ‘son’. It was like none of it ever existed. Looking through the envelope he’d been handed, the documents did look pretty convincing, Ash didn’t detect any slight inconsistency that would cause issues.
Though, he wasn’t convinced this ‘Toji’ was very smart as the other was claiming. Looks were deceiving though, and the blond knew that all too well. “If you say so, I’ll have to take your word for it.

“Don’t worry I know what I’m doing~.” The brunette assured as he properly disposed of his now empty juice box and getting into the driver’s side of the car that while very much legally obtained, had licensed plates swapped out every so often just to be on the safe side.

Keeping the radio off Twelve just hummed to himself softly during the short drive to the airport, not raising a fuss about traffic, and parked in the overnight lot.

“So why Japan?” He finally asked, grabbing his small duffle bag that for once contained nothing even remotely suspicious since he knew they had to pass through airport security.

“Everything’s there as requested.” Nine stated as he handed the blonde a packet without a fuss, already having made sure payment had gone through and shuffled to his bitcoin account.

“It’s real enough to even fool law enforcement, so you’ll be fine.” He had naturally perfected the art of falsifying documents over the years. Passports and IDs were basically child's play. The only hard part was hacking into the government databases and covering up his tracks afterword.

Toji will be your escort to Japan though.” He stated, gesturing to the brunette beside him that was slurping a juice box. “He’s not as dumb as he looks.”

It did take him a while to get a hang of the controls, but he actually got it and even got competitive with Twelve, it was pretty fun and he couldn’t help but laugh. He was surprised the few times that he had managed to win against Twelve, but it was all in good fun of course.
He wasn’t sure how much time had passed when Nine entered the room they had been playing games in, he put down the remote to look at the paperwork and ID that been dropped at his feet.
image
He was pretty impressed, maybe because he had never had to do anything like this before. Sora had never really been one for technology, and he’d never resided in a world where he would need ID or paperwork just to be allowed to do things. It was kinda bizarre but he could get used to it.
He didn’t know what classed as stupid, but he’d try not to do anything that Nine would class as stupid. “I won’t, I promise!” He meant that he wouldn’t do anything stupid, or expect any more favors from Nine. Though he wasn’t sure if he could keep that promise.
“So does this mean I can work now?”
image

“Yeah. The city’s obviously pretty big so I’m sure you’ll find something, but why don’t you stay here tonight? We can keep playing games and order food, and Nine won’t mind as long as we don’t bother him.”

Getting up just long enough to properly hang up his Glaive uniform so it would stay nice, he then noticed it was just about that time to take his meds too and got it over with.

“It’ll save you some money that’s for sure. Then in the morning, you’ll be all nice and well-rested for a good job hunt.”

Though really he just wanted to spend more time with his new friend. He didn’t have too many in high school, and most of the Glaives were both older than him and paid little attention to him since he was a Niflheim immigrant.

“Good, though even if you were I’m sure you’d have a hard time turning away one of my dishes.” This was one thing he’d allow himself some unrestrained pride with. Leaving Twelve to make himself at home Ignis went right to work putting together something substantial with plenty of iron. In no time the ingredients were chopped and in the pan to fry up. When Twelve sat down Ignis only needed a but longer before he dished it out and set the plate before the human. “Please enjoy.”
image
Why couldn’t vampires and humans live like this? Wouldn’t it be more sustainable for them both to work together?
Image

Taking a cautious first bite, Twelve was instantly impressed and had to stop himself from inhaling it all quickly so he could take the time to enjoy it. Eventually his whole plate was cleared, and the brunette was happily sitting back with a full stomach.

“That was amazing Ignis! I never thought a vampire could have such amazing cooking skills.”

This was more than enough to show him that Ignis was indeed one of the good nobles around, much nicer than people like Five or Ferid for sure.

Avatar
Ignis prided himself on remaining cool and level headed in stressful situations, but never could he rival what he saw in Twelve just then. Slowly he knelt to pick up his dropped black light, holding his breath as if his movement would set off the bomb.
image
Soon all the pieces were laid out, and the drones taking their turns to scan it all. “Yes…Indeed…” Ignis murmured, still a little starstruck. He took and breath and stood behind the enforcer and tussled his hair. “Excellent work there. You saved all our lives.” He praised. “Now, in your professional opinion, where do you think our culprit learned to assemble this bomb? Where he may have gotten the parts?”
Image

“Construction demolition.” He stated without hesitation, gesturing at the poor attempt they did to scratch out the barcodes that were still half readable. “I’m sure one of our data analysts can trace the exact source. He could be a worker, or he could have just paid a nice sum for someone to look the other way while he swiped such things.”

Taking a look at the wiring he had already cut he could only sigh and shake his head.

“Either they only barely knew what they were doing, or it was quickly put together in a hurry...”

4S nodded in agreement even though he had no idea what the spare body situation for such old models was like. He was not exactly a newborn himself, but he had never had any trouble uploading his personal data up to a spare body at the bunker in the rare occurence where the one he used on Earth was destroyed. Would he some day face the same fate of having to be extra careful with what he had been left with…?
“Well, usually us Scanners work alone, but I suppose there is nothing wrong with having some company as back up!” He doubted it was against the regulations at least, as it appeared that 9A had not received any further orders. “At least I don’t have to worry about being ambushed by machines when I have a good old fashioned Attacker by my side, huh?”
4S was by no means antisocial, and 9A piqued his curiosity.
“Follow me, then. I was headed this way. The route seems all clear, but if you are going to attack something, at least give me a warning so I can jump out of the way, alright?” It was an attempt to lighten the atmosphere with a joke.

“Oh, you shouldn’t have to worry about that too much. I tend to leave the non-hostile machines alone since I really don’t see the point of taking them down.”

Nine called him soft for it, but he didn’t care. Though he had a feeling 4S would not be pleased about how explosive his preferred battle style was.

“You can just call me Twelve by the way. I hope we can become friends eventually.”

Another thing that Nine would grumble about, reminding him that such emotions were prohibited. But surely 4S could be trusted?

(Demon Twelve) *places hands on the glass*

N-1P01387 05953234 who was a defective MT Unit was wandering around aimlessly since he lost track of his older brother Loqi. When he came upon someone about his age behind some glass in one of the rooms that he’s never seen or come across before until now. Slowly but surely he approached the glass where the child like daemon human was and frowned as he studied the other male.

N-1P01387 05953234 placed his hands upon the glass and wondered how he’d be able to help get the other Unit out of the room behind the glass. ❝ H-How do I get you out? ❞ He wouldn’t leave the other Unit behind even if he was a daemon although he looked to be human still too. He didn’t like the thought of another MT Unit being stuck in a room like the Unit was currently since there weren’t any scientist anyone else left behind. ❝ I-I won’t leave you behind…

Twelve could only sigh in relief when it was clear the other had much sympathy for him, even as he stood there with growing claws and horns and bright yellow eyes while his veins were noticeably black and pulsing. At least he still had his sanity...

“There.” He said softly, pointing to the keypad that would set him free, though he still had concerns about this escape attempt.

“Is it nighttime outside?” In his current state, he imagined the sun would kill him for sure, and doubt it would be quick and painless either.

{Hope, resonatingmuses} Seeing that Nine was laid back on the couch sleeping, Hope carefully pulled his glasses off, folded them, and set them aside on the table before putting a blanket over her boyfriend. May he have a peaceful nap.

Stirring only for a moment as Hope removed his glasses and tucked him in, Nine awoke sometime later, still a bit groggy and disoriented, but a bit more well-rested than he was before. Now he just needed to find his glasses...

“Grant them a little more dignity than that.” Ignis stabbed, taking offence on their behalf. “Though, they are in need of a proper home.” Not that he expected Page to be of any help, he was a wandering assassin as far as Ignis knew. Those two boys deserved a good home after all they suffered, but a good home wasn’t easy to find outside the Wall…

Frowning as Page gazed at the two boys and the friendly stray cats continued to purr on him, he slowly offered his hand out.

“I have plenty of room and far more money than I know what to do with. I may not be a parent but I am the oldest of six, so that has to count for something.”

Twelve seemed satisfied at the thought already and leaned over to Nine to whisper about the color of Page’s voice that was a sign that he was trustworthy. Nine only grunted in response, showing no obvious protest.
