Okay so imma rant a little, I cannot belive the fact that some of y’all really send so much hate to Kayla (@/blushmis) Because you didn’t like the direction she was taking HER STORY in, it wasn’t necessary nor wanted, if you didn’t like the story, YOU. SHOULDNT. HAVE. READ. IT. Is as simple as that. You’re my Best Friend was honestly one of my favorite fics, and it was a Roger x reader story, not a Deaky x reader story, yes the reader lead him on a couple of time but that wasn’t the main pairing of the fucking story, and y’all just had to deal with it but you decide to send hate, that wasn’t necessary. Anyways, I’m sad and hurt at this. End of rant, bye

It’s a mooooddd

This morning I woke up to find that my favorite fic series had been cancelled due to the sheer amount of anonymous hate, anger, and backlash being thrown at the author over a plot choice. Now listen, I’m going to say this once. If you are reading a fic and you don’t like it, then don’t. fucking. read. it. It is absolutely not your place to complain about or ridicule a work of fiction that someone has worked on. The people who write these pieces have jobs, school, families, etc. but they find the time to write because it provides an escape for them and others. Constructive criticism is great if the author has specifically asked for it, but generally? No. It’s not your place. I lost my best friend to a car wreck about a year ago. The fic that I had grown so fond of? Its portrayal of one of the main characters was mirror image of my friend and his personality. I know it’s odd, but through this work of fiction, I was able to interact with him again. You don’t know what stuff like that can mean to people. No one is forcing you to read it. No one. You have absolutely no right to fuck with an author because you don’t like their work.
