i lost my voice this week due to illness so naturally im thinkin about Rosario dealing with the same problem

typically Rosario’s dynamic in a relationship is that their partner is the one going “excuse me they asked for no pickles!” so that isnt new, and Rosario is already quite soft-spoken and doesn’t say much except to those with whom they are closest, but it’s different when they can’t speak at all.

Luchino knows them well enough to know what they want or need before they even try to ask. this is his rare opportunity to dote on them, now that they’re too weak from illness to protest. so he constantly brings them hot drinks and easy-to-swallow food, keeps the room dark and the window open for fresh air, and practically smothers them in the softest pillows and blankets he can find. he’s strict about a medicine regimen and keeps track like clockwork. when they’re awake, he brings his work into their room along with reading material for them to keep them company, and if they start to doze off he’ll read to them until they fall asleep. he constantly flickers his tongue to check for changes in their body temperature - if they get too hot, he’ll curl around them to cool them, ignoring their protests that he might catch their sickness, knowing that cuddles are the kind of care that they want the most.

my bday is coming up and i usually draw something EXTRA indulgent as a gift to myself but i haven't come up with any ideas yet 🤔

i do love that CoA was the chance to give Luchino a little characterization and they went with “raging badass but also kind of a lil shit”
