Hey! No need to apologize, I adored coming up with ideas for Kocho. I haven't written for her before so I stuck with SFW headcanons and small scenarios, just to try and maintain accuracy. This was also a bit shorter than I'd like but oh well. :')

Shinobu Kocho S/O hcs
- To start, the first time you'd made an attempt to flirt with her, you fully expected her to brush it off.
- But she didn't!
- Instead, she returned the favor, cheeks dusted with a light pink and giggling to herself.
"Oh my, [Y/n]! How very bold of you! Though I can't say I don't feel the same, you're quite the stunning woman yourself."
- I definitely feel like her hands would be incredibly soft, due to her different fighting style.
- Insists you hold her hand in a public setting.
- I feel like she would be possessive in some way, y'know?
Oh, how unfortunate it was that she happened to catch the man's lustful gaze upon her dearest [Y/n]. It sickened Kocho most definitely. While her partner remained occupied with the glimmering hairpins being sold, she stopped dead in her tracks, glaring at him.
"How rude of you to stare at a woman so shamelessly," Kocho began, closing the distance between her and the man hiding in the alleyway, gripping the handle of her nichirin sword.
It was more so an empty threat. But he didn't know that, and hopefully he wouldn't have to find out what truly awaited him. "If you can't keep your eyes to yourself, perhaps I could gouge them out for you. That sounds like a wonderful solution, don't you think?"
And just before she could back him up further against the wall, the voice of her partner called out, laced with worry.
"Kocho! Where are you?"
Shinobu's hands creeped up your shoulders from behind, earning a flinch. "Right here, angel. How about we get you something with your favorite gemstone?"
- I believe wholeheartedly that she leaves lipstick stains on your cheeks and hands.
- Oh my god, her heart would burst if you visited her at her lab.
- Please ask her questions about pharmaceutics! She loves that you show interest in her studies!
- I can imagine reader cluelessly bringing her random herbs she found. 💀
"Here! I think I saw some of these illustrated in one of the books in your lab and I thought you might be able to use them for something..."
- Her favorite part of you, I don't know why but, I feel like it'd be your eyes, regardless of color.
- Definitely held your first date under a wisteria blossom tree.
- Any time you're around, her full attention is on you.
- Especially before and after missions.
- Kinda motherly? In a sense?
- If a mission called for you and you alone, she'd 100% offer you some sort of healing substance or enhanced first aid kit just in case.
"It'd be a shame if you were to find yourself in trouble without me. Take these on your way,"

- She knows you're strong enough to handle yourself but she can't help but worry!
- I have not one single doubt in my mind that she uses names like angel and dear. Even Ms. [L/n] at times!
- And who would she be as the insect hashira if she didn't give you butterflies?
- Savors the moments in between though,
- Doesn't want you to get used to any of the flirting, so she does it at random!
- Teases you when she gets the reaction she wants,
"You're so red, [Y/n]! Was it perhaps something I said?"
Could I request Tanjiro x Reader where they just finished fighting a demon, reader is tired and kinda out of it and starts staring at Tanjiro with a smile and when he asks if they are okay, reader says “you’re pretty”

She trudged through the unexpectedly lively village, Tanjiro's calloused and rough hands in her softer ones, sensing the growing exhaustion of his friend. With each step, her body ached, knowing she'd be bedridden with sore limbs the very next morning.
The demons they were sent to face were beyond their mizunoto-level skill. It was of no doubt her and Tanjiro strived to be the best regardless of their different motives, but how were they expected to exceed other slayers of their rank, let alone becoming hashira, when they struggled to face simple demons with the help of one another? The pain shooting through her core drew her out of the self degradation, which she could only be thankful for.
"[Y/n], look!" The redhead called. God, she loved his hair color. It was gorgeous. The girl was snapped out of her thoughts once he continued, "There's an inn up ahead! I'll pay for us to spend the night so you can relax a while."
She desperately wanted to protest and be the one to give up her earnings. For her beloved friend to focus on feeding himself. But she remained silent nonetheless, knowing full well he'd ignore it, only nodding as he quickened his pace.
"Please sir, let me pay you for you troubles!" He argued, filling the man's empty hands with whatever money he had to offer at the time, all for a worn down basket and bamboo that was given to him just for the mere sake of getting rid of it.
He led her into the cozy building, holding the door open like the gentleman he was, calm ruby eyes following her tired form. Tanjiro spoke to the elderly woman upfront patiently, paying double the amount with a smile. Fully aware of his friend staring in admiration.

She was beyond grateful. Her footwear and uniform barely made it off before collapsing onto the futon below, earning a chuckle from the boy who'd already been folding his haori. [Y/n's] attention was immediately brought to him once again, rolling on her side with her head propped up against her palm.
The way he carefully set down the folded fabric and pulled himself under the covers beside his friend, catching her half-lidded gaze. She felt her stomach doing flips.
"Are you okay?" The words were at the tip of her tongue. Tanjiro rested himself in a similar manner, blinking almost comically, though in genuine concern.
The warm light of the lantern lit his features so beautifully. She wanted nothing more than to cup his face and trace every scar, every mark, every imperfection. And the thought brought the deepest shade of red to her cheeks. A goofy smile tugging at the corners of her lips. "[Y/n]?..."
"You're really pretty, Tanji."
Her words spilled so smoothly, so confidently that he was taken aback. The boy's eyes widened for a split second. And just as quickly, he too shared her growing blush, along with his own, sweet grin.
Tanjiro subconsciously reached for her free hand, intertwining their fingers and squeezing so lovingly.
"Thank you! You're extremely pretty too!"
He felt the way his heart pounded in his chest, allowing himself to rest knowing they'd come to find themselves time and time again in moments like these, listening to his friend doze off with the content expression never once leaving his face.
"And I'll make sure you never forget it."
