I thought I was out of mistake mess hell but as it turns out,

*whispers into void* I’m pretty sure that every time I upload a new chapter on AO3, I fight the desire to delete everything I’ve ever written. Believe it or not, writing something and posting it for public eye is the scariest thing that I do.
to be honest the fear of getting no response almost makes me want to delete everything too
Omg… I so feel this. No matter how/what I think about it before I post, afterwards I panic, hate myself and everything I do, and want to hide under a rock.
Agreed. I’m a ball of anxiety for hours after, especially if it’s a new fic.
I am equal parts proud of my writing and terrified of how people will respond to it - or if they will respond at all. I have rarely related to a Tumblr post more.
I feel quite proud getting it posted mainly because I got to the end of posting process on AO3 which seems to take me forever!
But them I’m checking to see if anyone liked it constantly the first couple of days after posting. When I get nothing back a massive wave of negative hits me:
‘why did you think anyone would be interested in that?’, ‘you didn’t actually think you could write did you?’, ‘I told you you couldn’t, when will you learn?’, ‘why do you do this to yourself?’ ect
Just one positive comment lights up my little world - just to know *someone* liked it, it made someone smile, that it made someone feel something means everything to me!
Please comment on fics if you like them so writers don’t throw them into the void!
Be kind and review and like and talk to your authors/artists! Yes they do it for themselves but they do it for you too.

I finally updated it... it took me almost all week to write this short chapter...
i like being able to write again~
I might be able to update Something Important on ao3 later... After a week of physio my arm is feeling a bit better and i’ve been doing little bits of writing through the week too
My laptop is back and fixed and i get my arm out of the cast tomorrow! I’ll be able to write then!
So i break my arm, and then i drop my laptop because of said broken arm and now i can’t write at all until it’s repaired...

AHHH why is it so hard to write with a broken arm? I’m having to get my husband to help me out with almost everything but writing and even then @saeranlover is partially helping with that...
