goes outside holding hands with my girlfriend and cishet people give me the homophobia stare so i look at them and say "actually im a straight trans guy so i don't experience oppression for being straight" and they go "oh my bad. i, a homophobic person, am definitely not transphobic and view you as male now. carry on"

You're gender identity? why? I mean, penis isn't that bad . I stink it sometimes, like in my mouth an stuff. Not gay or anything though even though my mom says so. Merry Christmas dude

I cannot tell what you're trying to say to me but this is my favorite ask I've ever gotten. What

shut up about how "bad" she did at a sport, a woman is being told she can't do something because of the way she was born, she just happens to be trans so yall think misogyny and bioessentialism is suddenly ok

"she only placed in 24th!" well im only gonna explode you with my mind

I do love learning that people I know's support for women like me extends only as long as we never strive to actually be the best at something.

Love doing something? Better hope you're only mediocre at best, as otherwise you'll be kicked down to where you belong for daring to take the place of a real person.

Fight for my inclusion because I'm a fucking woman, not because I'm too pathetic to have a chance in hell at excelling or of beating you.

i'm happy at all the positive responses this has gotten in defense of the trans woman, but i think some people are losing the plot so i wanna lay it out in full: the arguments around this event and any event like this boil down to one side overexplaining why trans women are too evil to compete in sports and the other side overexplaining that we should be allowed because we suck, but what we actually want people to recognize and what both arguments dance around is that we're women, and we just wanna play a sport and there's no justification needed as for why we should be allowed to. if you get to play a sport, women, and therefore trans women, should get to play it too Full Stop

not that i am against the concept of international trade nor do i think tariffs are based or whatever but what is interesting is seeing how much of the american reaction comes down to “but *i* dont want to work in a factory for pennies and *i* dont want my currency to be worthless and to have to pay one billion dollars for iphone” without even acknowledging your comfort depends on a global population who is forced to live under those exact conditions. right. like it or not, for the world to exist as it does, someone’s got to do it. someone’s got to mine the precious metals, someone’s got to forge the machine parts. someone’s got to ruin their body for slave wages, somewhere. the fact that you and i don’t is a result of winning a total genetic lottery and it is the exception not the norm and do what you want with that information but at least dont be callous

If you could spare a second to vote in the poll I hope you can spare another to help spread this campaign to help Nader and his family in Gaza.

"parents rights" folk are some of the most insidiously evil slimeballs imaginable but everyone gives them a pass because of some delusional cultural belief that there's an inherent nobility in popping some poor bastard into the world that gives one carte blanche to treat them like property for a decade or two

palestinians under genocide should not have to audition for people’s empathy, yet this is what they have to do in order to receive any attention. fundraisers have been moving very slowly bc attention is waning.

this is true for eyad’s campaign as well, even though he tells me every day the conditions that he and his family have to endure.

i don’t know what else i can say to grab and sustain people’s attention. i just hope you donate to eyad’s campaign and share it if you cannot.

the last donation was 21 hours ago. please share and donate if you can.

you know what you shouldnt do? constantly tell your child how expensive they are to take care of. because eventually, that child gets scared of asking for money, and doesnt feed themself at school, doesnt go places with their friends that require money, because she doesnt want to be expensive. it really does get into their minds, that theyre too much money and that they shouldnt do anything.

I hate 2 say it but being a part of a “weird” subculture does not meaningfully inoculate you against a conservative moralizing impulse. You gotta unlearn that. Saying “cringe is dead” is not enough, you have to actually be okay with things that discomfort, perplex and/or disgust you.
