• Hello fellow lovers of HP Femslash! This is a very important community announcement, so I hope you will all stick around and read to the end.

• As some of you may know, a blog exists called @hpshipweeks and they have an annual project going where they celebrate ships during designated weeks. These ships are voted in by polls. If you look, there is only one femslash pairing on the list and it isn’t even the most popular femslash pairing in the community. However, Parlavender is the femslash pairing that is most shipped in the canon and hetero community. On top of this, there are nine hetero ships and four mlm ships represented.

• I do not believe that this is an accurate representation of the HP Femslash community, and I believe that due to fandom separation, the polls weren’t able to reach many Femslash shippers. However, the lack of representation is still upsetting and should be remedied.

• The wonderful @lunavlovegood and I have spoken about this issue and we’ve come up with a solution. We ask @hpshipweeks to hear us and turn the “free ship week” into another Femslash week devoted to a pairing that will be decided by femslash voters.

• If you would like to see this change be made and you too think that the current lineup is not an accurate representation of the HP shippers reblog this, like this, comment on this, reply to this, and send @hpshipweeks your (polite) thoughts on the matter Thank you for taking the time to read this!
