September 9th is coming up, and we all know what that means!

It will soon be the birthday of V - the most mysterious man in Mystic Messenger! (Did we mention that although he keeps a lot of secrets from us, his delicate and caring heart is as warm as the sun? :P )

Ikemen Prince Characters

 4th Prince: Courageous x Proud        Name: Leon Dompteur  VA: Kato Kazuki

Radiating the strength and majesty of the king of beasts is the gallant 4th prince. No one is immune to falling for the charms of his courageous and lively personality. However, the secrets of his past could “Shake the Palace” to it’s core.

(Sweet! Can’t wait to read Nobunaga’s Leon’s route! I wonder what this secret of his is.)

2nd Prince: Dangerous x Sadist          Name: Chevalier Michel  VA: Ono Yuki

The ruthlessly cruel 2nd prince is feared as a beast among beast. Willing to do whatever it takes for his goal, be it foul or fair, and is often seen covered in blood. His is an existence that seems impossible to approach, but he holds an unexpected secret.

(Another character I’m ready to throw all my money at. I think I have a problem…I seem to like the characters that are mean and teasing.)

Novic Butler: Affectionate x Free-Spirited    Name: Rio Ortiz      VA: Hiromu Mineta

“I’m your personal butler so it’s my job to grant your inner most desires, no matter what they are.”

A butler and friend who dotes on you with unquestionable loyalty. 3 years ago on a rainy day you found him collapsed on the ground having lost all his memories, and since then you made a vow to stay by his side. He follows behind you like a faithful and loyal dog, but an important secret his hidden within his lost memories.

Birthday: April 13th    Height: 179cm(5′8)    Coat of Arms Symbol: Dog

(Actually with his little bio, I’m a little unsure if it’s translated correctly. There was a word 行き倒れる that I wasn’t sure what it means, but I think the phrase ‘collapsed on the ground’ is close enough. There is just too much extra nuance in Japanese words lol. But regardless he sounds like an adorable sweetie lol.

Also, in his character attribute part for 溺愛 I translated it as ‘affectionate’ but it means a more strong version of this. Like blind love, devotion and adoration. That word is used at least 2 or 3 times in his bio. So the fact that Sariel calls him a ‘loyal dog’ is pretty spot on lol. )

 5th Prince: Frosty x Tragic    Name: Yves Kloss    VA: Uchida Yuma

“I’m not some pitiful prince. I’m the only one who can give my life worth, even if no one else does.”

Fickle like a cat and with cold beauty is the 5th prince. He is exceedingly arrogant and looks down on others when speaking, but could his tragic upbringing be the reason for his delicate heart?

Birthday: September 16th    Height: 174cm(5′7)    Coat of Arms Symbol: Cat

(For his character attributes it’s 強がりツンデレ which directly translates to ‘Strong Tsundere’ or ‘Super Tsundere’. I debated between ‘Austere’ and ‘Frosty’ as a suitable word and ended up with ‘Frosty. 悲運 was more difficult to decide on. It means like ‘a person who has very bad luck, and an ill and tragic fate.’ For lack of a better word I could find I went with tragic. 

Sounds like an angst filled, slow-burn route lol Someone give this boy a hug!)

7th Prince: Prankster x Womanizer            Name: Nokto Klein   VA: Takuya Eguchi

“Me, a king? Hm~,that doesn’t sound so bad…You’ll obey my every order, right?”

The 7th prince and younger twin to Licht. With his effortless smooth talking and social skills he is an enemy to women everywhere. Though remaining vigilant against teasing and temptations, behind his frivolous behavior what heroic past is he hiding?

(Oh…this guy….Giving me Author vibes. Seems like a guy who likes to be called ‘Daddy’…Me likey :p)

8th Prince: Troublemaker x Popular    Name: Luke Randolph  VA: Sion Yoshitaka

“Hah~,no way, politics is boring. Let’s leave that to the other guys, I’ll pass.”

The large bear like 8th prince. A prince who does everything halfheartedly except when it comes to you whom he cherishes like a younger sister. But sometimes, when you two are having fun together, a dark look will pass through his gaze.

3rd Prince: Daring x Mysterious      Name: Clavis Lelouch   VA: Kenji Nojima

“Rather than choosing a suitable king, wouldn’t it be more fun to cause a bit of trouble…Shall we think of a plan together?”

The pleasure-loving yet dangerous 3rd prince. The palace’s no.1 problem child who believes that as long as it’s fun it’s ok, and has currently taken a liking to his “playmate” Chavelier. But lately he’s been giving cause for suspicion. 

Birthday: June 17th        Height: 179cm(5′7)        Coat of Arms Symbol: Leopard

(Ooohhh, I’m looking forward to this route lol. Seems like some fun times!)

1st Prince: Mature x Lady-Killer      Name: Jin Grandet     VA: Hiroki Yasumoto

“I’ve taken myself out from the running to be King, but I’ll carefully watch over the path that you’ve chosen.”

Here is the mature 1st prince…Or so you would believe. In truth he is openly a womanizing pervert. However, the reason for his decision to never fall in love with “Bell” is…?

Birthday: March 5th      Height: 182cm(5′9)          Coat of Arms Symbol: Eagle

Royal Bureaucrat: Wicked x Clever      Name: Sariel Noir    VA: Sho Hayami

“Until you’ve chosen the next king, I hold the most influence in the castle. Behave yourself and please me, and your stay here won’t be painful.”

The kingdom’s Royal Bureaucrat and the previous king’s guardian. He specializes in strategy and working behind the scenes. He’s often called a “Demon” as he offers no compromise in any situation no matter who you are. Everything, even is origins, remain a mystery and even more so his true motives. 

Birthday: January 20th      Height: 180cm(5′9)      Coat of Arms Symbol: Snake

(For his characteristic 鬼畜 it’s actually a much stronger meaning than simply ‘Wicked’. It apparently means someone who ‘so brutally savage, and demon like.’ So much so that it feels borderline ‘inhuman’. I simply settled for the word wicked.

This is the route I am looking forward to the most! He is def a ‘Daddy’ to me! I’m so ready to throw money at every even he’s in! lol.)

6th Prince: Asocial x Calm              Name: Licht Klein     VA: Oomi Shoichiro

“It’s fine if you don’t come closer. I won’t become king so you don’t need to get to know me.”

The 6th prince as well as the older twin brother of Nokto. He hates interacting with others and can always be found alone whether in the palace or in battle. However, behind his cold exterior is a kindhearted young man. What happened to change him into a lone beast?

(I still can’t believe him and Nokto are twins! They are sooo different! I do like how one is a wolf and the other is a fox lol.)
