hey guys so i know it needs a huge improvement, but i just finished it & i’m going to be adding more to it, but check out my etsy shop ?
i set it up because i’m in a need for a little extra cash right now, but i don’t want to just ask for money. at least in this way, you get a nice beanie or scarf or a cowl in return for your help. right now only the beanies are up, but hopefully i will have the scarves & cowls up in a few hours.

i have my mother’s mouth and my father’s eyes; on my face they are still together.
it’s funny the sort of thing that can change your fate. a bar room brawl. a sister being born. a knife to the ascending aorta. but what really matters is what you do with the change. do you let it kick you in the gut and leave you for dead? or do you find a way to work around it? well. my parents found a way around it. and i’ll find a way around it too.                                                                david marcus                                                               sideblog to/written by virstellae                                                               aos + tos variants

Seriously though. Don’t be afraid of your character’s negative traits. Don’t be afraid of the parts of them that make them look ugly. Embrace those qualities, explore them, involve them in your writing. Maybe your character is a hero, but maybe they’re a little arrogant or impatient or rude or petty about certain things. Talk about it. It doesn’t make your character any less of a hero, it just makes them who they are. No one is infallible. No one is perfect. We all have bad traits as well as good ones. It’s what makes a character three dimensional. It’s what makes them seem real. Stop trying to hide their flaws under the rug. Bring them into the light. You’d be amazed at the results.

SIMON MONROE - your local gay autistic irish catholic zombie. (former?) leader of a cult, because of course he is.
Image

hey! i lack the editing ability for a proper graphic promo and these seem to get more traction anyway, so could you like this post or throw us a follow or something if you’d be interested in interacting with simon monroe of in the flesh

fun themes on this blog: zombie apocalypse and the aftermath thereof, religion (specifically catholicism), some mention of the irish troubles, religious cults, medical experimentation/abuse, drug abuse, depression and other mental health issues, etc.

primary setting is in england, UK, 2014 or so, but i’m definitely down for AUs set in other countries and time periods etc!

reblogging encouraged so that more people see this. in the flesh has a super small fandom and an even smaller RP one, so getting into other fandoms would be great!

it’s a welcome moment of relief in an otherwise hectic day; for all the tumultuous stress and exhaustion that floods him from jim’s mind, there’s an affection and warmth of equal intensity - one that spock reciprocates in equal, calculated measure. he returns to his labwork with tingling fingertips and the faint impression of jim’s mind in his own, a faint, welcome glow at the back of his consciousness.

vulcannotlie replied to your post “Anyone up for a Spones RP? I’m looking for a Spock who prefers to top,…”
lmao please don’t refer to trans men as cuntboys.
lmao please don’t police my language I’m trans myself, okay? Not all of us have a problem being called that. Besides, my McCoy is not trans. He’s a normal biological male who had a transporter accident.

I find it extremely difficult to believe that another trans guy would ever refer to cis dudes as “normal biological males”. That, and the “don’t police my language not all of us have a problem being called that!” argument is exactly the kind of shit that cis dudes say to justify calling trans women “futas” and the like, so forgive me if I’m a little skeptical.

That aside, if you are trans, it’s great that you don’t have an issue with being called an extremely transphobic slur. Reclaim it all you like. But a lot of us do have an issue with it, and you’re posting that shit in the spones tag without tagging it for the slur, which is extremely harmful to other trans people.
