Grant always wanted to be a father. Ever since he was young, he imagined having a a few kids of his own and knew he’d be a much better dad than his father was. Junior, however, was terrified. He loved kids and was great with them, he’s proven that time and time again. But the thought of being a father frightens him because he’s so scared of ending up like Logan. That was the last thing he wanted and Junior could never live with himself if his child went through what he did. It took some persuasion and convincing from Grant to convince Junior that he wouldn’t be like that and he would be a great dad.

Junior definitely needs a lot of therapy. He’s still wary about it after the whole thing with Mixter, Grant also has to convince him of that
But once Grant manages to convince him to go, Junior actually comes to enjoy talking about everything he was forced to keep hidden because of Logan
It took a few therapy sessions before Junior slowly started opening up about what he went through. It was relieving but emotional for him, the first thing he would do when he came back from a session was hug Grant
Grant never judged Junior for his problems. And to have a second person doing the same (even if it's just their job) feels good too
It felt so good for Junior to know that what he went through because of Logan wasn’t okay. Grant always told him that but it felt good too to hear that from basically a stranger
Nah, Logan was all “If Junior's crying, don't show him any sympathy. He just wants attention”. As a result of this, Junior tends to hold back his tears
Junior holds in his tears so much to the point where he hardly cries. If he feels like he’s about to cry in front of someone, he’ll leave and lock himself in his room or bathroom
In front of Grant, however, Junior doesn't feel the need to hold back. But because he has years of tears, he ends up sobbing for hours. Grant doesn't let him go a single time
Junior still gets so embarrassed by how much he’s sobbing for. It’s like a dam that gets broken and no matter how hard he tries, he can’t stop sobbing. But Grant holds him the whole time no matter what
Grant just tells Junior, “Just keep crying until you're smiling”
When Junior finishes sobbing but is hiding his face in Grant’s chest, Grant will start telling jokes to get Junior to smile or laugh
Junior feels bad because Grant's shirt is soaked with his tears. Not that Grant cares
Grant doesn’t care at all. He only cares about Junior feeling better and cheering up
Grant only takes off his shirt because Junior won't stop commenting on or staring at the tear stain
As soon as Grant takes off his shirt, he pulls Junior back into a hug and reassures him again that he doesn’t mind
Junior is now flustered by Grant's body
Grant could tell by how much Junior’s blushing now
Grant starts flexing and posing for Junior once he notices
It makes Junior giggle while blushing, lightly swatting Grant’s chest with the back of his hand
Grant is happy to see Junior smiling again, so he keeps going
Junior doesn’t even realize that Grant is succeeding in cheering him up, he just keeps blushing
Grant decides not to point it out because Junior would turn his flustered state into rage like he always does. He wants to keep him smiling
Even though Grant is tempted to point it out, he doesn’t. He wants Junior to keep smiling and giggling, it’s what he deserves after that crying session
It was several hours long after all. Junior had a near-lifetime of tears stored away and Grant finally gave him the confidence to release them
Grant had been worried by how much Junior was crying, for hours. But then Junior finally stopped and he could tell that he was exhausted from it, so Grant had to cheer him up first before giving him some water and letting him sleep
Junior essentially giggled himself to sleep
Grant holds him the entire time, cuddling Junior as he slept
Junior has a tiny smile on his face as he sleeps in Grant's arms
Grant can tell that Junior is sleeping well from the little smile on his face
Grant kisses Junior on the forhead and plays with his hair until he falls asleep himself
When they wake up, they’re in a tangled mess of limbs with Junior sleeping on top of Grant
Junior turns red because Grant is still shirtless
Grant doesn't realize at first that he's still shirtless until he sees Junior staring at him while blushing
Grant just teases Junior, asking if he sees anything he likes
It makes Junior so flustered, he tries hiding his face
Junior rolls off of Grant and covers his face with a pillow
Grant just chuckles and tries to move the pillow away from Junior
It turns into a tug-of-war
They're both just giggling while tugging the pillow back and forth
Junior is still blushing a bit, but he and Grant are more focused on their game at this point
Grant is grinning and pulling the pillow enough that he basically pulls Junior up in the process
They accidentally kiss
It makes them both grin when they kiss
They also look away with bashful smiles
They both got so flustered now
Still, they kiss once again
Grant wraps his arms around Junior when they kiss again
Junior bashfully holds Grant's face
Grant smiles at him after the kiss, leaning his cheek closer to Junior’s hand
Grant and Junior tell each other “good morning” with bashful smiles
Grant ends up pulling Junior closer to him, asking him how he slept
Junior is still bashful when Grant does this after their marriage. He's still getting used to someone asking how he's doing
Even after all these years, it still makes Junior so bashful. It’s like he had gotten used to expecting that no one would care about how he was
Which is exactly why Grant makes it a point to shower Junior with compliments and praise every chance he gets
Junior still gets so flustered and bashful despite being together for years whenever Grant compliments and praises him
Junior hides his face in anything he can
It always makes Grant chuckle and try to see Junior’s face
Grant assaults Junior with kisses for being so cute
