Yeah I may as well be frank; this blog is on an indefinate hiatus. Constantly getting RP’s dropped or ignored when I try to approach people, with only the occasional blog willing to interact with the doctors has kind of ruined my desire to be here. Not sure if I’m gonna archive yet, but I see little point to keep it going at this point.

I’m sorry for the inactivity guys. My muse for this blog comes and goes constantly, and never seems to last for long.

The Bird of Ill Omens

Raven had left the world after the destruction of Metropolis. She was distraught when she lost her friends and wanted to make the criminals pay. However, when she found out her friend Dick Grayson was killed by Damian she decided fighting for Superman was not worth it. Not if it means losing more of her friends who refuse to join him.
So, she left. Left her world, but couldn’t go back to Azarath. Not if it means risking her home to Trigon. So, she hid between the two worlds. One of darkness, but also peace so she wouldn’t be disturbed.
Until now as Dr. Fate appeared and called out to her. Perhaps if she remained quiet and did not try revealing her presence he will leave.

Fate waited for a few seconds for a response. When none came, he sighed, and began hovering through the void. She was here; he could sense it. The doctor allowed his helmet to guide him. He looked around, knowing that she was hiding from him by this point...

“I mean you no harm, Rachel. I have come to help you.” Well, that was partially true, at least. He was fully prepared to fight back if she lashed out, but Fate hoped he could discuss this matter without having to resort to violence.

Time had passed since their initial encounter. Sniverr formulated many solutions to defeat a creature beyond mortality, but none yet he could execute. The thought of an answer being held in the multiverse was an idea he played with, then soon would travel towards in complete secrecy.

It had been about five months since the incident with Shuma-Gorath. Strange imagined that the Canvarose was returning to its own area of space by now… Until he sensed something odd. Strange peered into the Orb of Agamotto, only to see a dimensional barrier being created. “Now that’s odd…”

“Fuerza!” He commanded as a triangle formed to force the spell to occur, though only half effective against Strange.
“I am the will of Protection. Hundred immoral pacts and deeds I will perform if I must to protect.” He said as two triangle had formed.
“Siera Mahoka.” He said, making spellcasts dispel if done not quickly enough.
He then unleashed stored power from earlier, left eye glowing Astral blue as a powerful aura surrounded him. A one-sided match at this point with the weakening and spellcast dispel, as well as a seemingly unaffected unleashed Sniverr at this point.
But only a theoretical advantage.

Unfortunately, Strange wasn’t able to shut-off Sniverr’s power completely, but the nullifying effects of his own power were weakened, thus allowing Strange to still cast magic, albeit slightly weaker. The doctor sighed. Gods… They were always so arrogant, thinking that unlimited power made them better, smarter, wiser.

Strange figured it was about time he taught Sniverr a lesson. He quickly unleashed two discs of energy at the supposed protector of the Canvarose. “You call yourself a guardian? If you can’t even face threats to your world with your own power, then you seem ill-fit for that role.”

Strange walked forward. “I am Doctor Strange, Sorcerer Supreme. I am the protector of this world against all mystical threats. Gods, demons, unfathomable horrors… To me, that’s just another Tuesday.”

The Bird of Ill Omens

The doctor had experienced another premonition. He foresaw a future in which a great demon emerged to plunge the world into ruin; future wrought with chaos and conflict. At the center of it all was a young girl, born of mortal flesh yet with the blood of this great demon running through her. Fate knew what he had to do; he had to find this girl before she could become a threat.

A glowing ankh-shaped portal appeared in the bridge between realities, and Fate emerged in a place that existed between Earth and Azarath. “Rachel Roth! Show yourself.”

Sniverr was surprised that Strange was able regain his Magic.
“How did you…” He asked as his constant swipes, strikes and swishes with the rod had retroactively shimmered as Magic returned. He used this sudden stock of essence to form a large triangle around him.
“Perhaps I’ll have to repeat myself this time..” He mumbled as spare essence formed another larger triangle as he used the spare essence to repeat the spell, whilst forming a triangle behind his back.

Strange narrowed his eyes. “Not this time.” He chanted an incantation to interrupted Sniverr’s. Even if the other was a god, and came from a place with different laws and rules, he still had to obey some. Strange felt he was starting to get an understanding of the triangular runes Sniverr was using.

“This is pointless, Sniverr! I know you want to protect your world, but can you really call yourself a protector if you’re ready to put your world at risk to destroy your enemies?”

The worst of it was over now. Fate had done his best to undo the discord caused by this world’s lack of a protector... But there was still more to be done. He sensed a powerful force at work; something that had even the Lords of Order uneasy.

Though he needed to return to his own world soon, Fate opened a portal to follow young Garfield to where he’d gone. The boy had been searching for his friend, as Fate recalled...

Private Matters

magicdoctors:
A portal sudden appeared within the secret meeting room of the Illuminati. Out from that portal stepped Stephen Strange, who had been called here to speak with Iron Man in private. “Yes, Stark? What is it?”
@starksfrequentlyassedquestions
“I think we are going to need the infinity gems much sooner then we need wanted.” He frowned at him shaking his head

Strange raised an eyebrow. “The Infinity Gems? May I inquire as to why?” Certainly, that Stark was requesting such a thing was not reassuring.

Wakanda... Not a place Strange thought he'd be visiting any time soon, but being the Sorcerer Supreme meant traveling all over the world to deal with mystical threats. The doctor stepped through the portal and found himself standing in a forest. He chose this location in the hopes that nobody would see him, but he swiftly checked his surroundings, just to be certain... (magicdoctors)

T’Challa looked down at the strangely dressed man from where he was perched. Without hesitation he landed in front of the man and looked at him. “Why are you in Wakanda?”

T’Challa nodded. “I am the king of this place.” He watched him smiling. “Regal formalities arent needed. Although you are quite welcome for the help. then.”

“Huh. A king and a protector..." As T’Challa led Strange on, he suddenly realized this presented an opportunity. “Hey, um... After this is over, I have a small request to make. I’m actually part of a group dedicated to handling, well, mystic threats like this. Unfortunately, there really aren’t many of us in Wakanda, since your borders are so strict...”

He nodded his head. “Yes I can do so with great ease.” He started to lead the way. “I am T’Challa and I am also the King of Wakanda.” he explained

Strange started following after the man immediately, his cape swaying slightly as he walked. “Wait... You’re the king of this place?” He felt slightly awkward now, unsure if he should bow or kneel. Strange then mentally scolded himself. Now was not the time for formalities. “Well, your aid is most appreciated, your majesty.”

“I think I can approve your coming into my country as the assistance is kind of required. As well I appreciate it.” He explained watching Strange closely then.

Strange nodded appreciatively. “Good. Glade we’ve got that all squared away.” He looked the man up and down once again. “Do you think you can lead lead me to exactly where these, ah, demons were last seen? Also, I don’t think I ever caught your name...”

“I have in fact.” he commented “Demons rising from the grave.. and other such fun things.” He joked dryly . “But yes magical issues have been occuring here.”

“Really?” Strange was... A little surprised, honestly. He didn’t know too much about Wakanda (it was a very secretive country, after-all), but he didn’t expect its local hero to be so aware of mystical threats. “Well then, do you think you might be able to show me where? I don’t mean to intrude upon your territory, but dealing with things like what you describe is my job.”

He had stopped for a second to stop. He noticed that both were aiming to finish within his deadline. Fortunately, Nullify doesn’t end that quickly, but he had to press the advantage of a Doctor Strange that’s unable to cast magic.
“Time’s up..” He quickly remarked, the atmosphere suddenly becoming intense as the Shark stood idle in the Astral Plane.
He had to push his limits quickly, and with his trump card, he was sure he will.

Strange smirked as soon as he felt his power return to him. Sniverr was clearly preparing something, but the doctor had no intention of letting the deity catch him by surprise any more. He knew that truly defeating a being like Sniverr may be impossible, but imprisoning him? That was most definitely possible.

Strange’s hands began to glow with a red aura, before unleashing a series of red energy tendrils that wrapped around Sniverr’s form. The Crimson Bands of Cyttorak were one of Strange’s oldest spells, but considering how hard they were to break, it wasn’t hard to see why they were an old favorite. Even the Hulk struggled against these bindings.
