A vampire kisses your hand with a flourish. Cloak thrust back while they bend at the waist in a noble fashion. But the kiss… The kiss is slow and smooth and sultry. They kiss your open palm, which tingles at the contact, and their eyes never break from yours.

A werewolf is playful and lewd. They take your hand and nuzzle into it first. You swear, you can hear a deep, pleasant rumble in their chest at the contact. When muzzle and maw finds your palm, the werewolf bares their teeth, dragging them tenderly and oh so sensually along the veins from wrist to thumb.

An orc kisses the top of your hand, but their tusks get in the way. It’s all right, you reassure them, unable to ignore how dangerously amazing it felt for such sharp protrusions to meet your flesh.

An alien doesn’t know how to kiss but they make up for it with enthusiasm. Taking both hands, palms up, they kiss them both, mouth open and gently resting against your skin. The contact makes you shiver, especially when they continue up your forearms. Truth is, they’re not sure when to stop and it’s endearing.

A naga is all tongue really and they know well enough that they are not actually kissing your hand. You’re too engrossed in what they are doing to find the strength to get them to stop.

A demon doesn’t kiss on the hand. They kiss every where else.

It gets better—the guy is deaf, and he taught his cat the sign for “food.” So the cat’s not just saying “put that in my mouth,” it’s actually signing

Not only that, but if you notice at the beginning, the cat *gets the man’s attention* as any person who wanted to talk to a deaf/hoh individual would (well, and vice versa IME). I’ve done sign since I was 5, and generally, w/o eye contact initially, you wave a hand or lightly touch the arm (if that’s ok with the person you’re trying to converse with, of course).  Generally, adult cats meow mostly to humans, but this cat has figured out that’s not going to work and has adapted. Animal companions! They are INCREDIBLE.
