A lot of people are pretty transparent about their actual distain for lesbians, especially butch and femme lesbians. You can reblog support all you want but actual support and understanding will only come from reading our history and listening to us. Stop speaking over lesbians. Listen to lesbians. This includes trans lesbians, always. Just fucking listen for once and shut the fuck up. You were brought up in a lesbophobic society. Accept the fact that the issue probably lies with you and your internal bias you’re putting onto lesbians when you dictate to them how their history actually is and telling them how they should feel about their identities and how they should interact.

Take a step back, think about why you think the way you do, address you’re own shit, then come back and be respectful.

You’re allowed to take your time with healing and moving forward.
