Of course, when she wanted to be alone this spikey, blue, dickhead had to just randomly appear. She should slug him, but didn't have the enegry.

"Yeah, I'm fuckin' great. Now that we got that covered, why don't you fuck off." She huffs, hoisting the strap of her duffle bag over her shoulder.

   {➹} – IT WAS THE REACTION he had expected and it hardly took him by surprise anymore. The only thing that did manage to make him stop and question things was why, despite many warnings, she never seemed to actually attack him. He wasn't going to look too into it. Instead, he raised both hands.

"I just didn't know you liked music, 's all. I figured your personally was too dry for that," for once he was joking, and his tone made it obvious before he just...smiled. Unfortunately, he was sucker for music and those who enjoyed it. "But 's a good thing. Don't let me stop you from indulging."

He doubted she would, but it didn't hurt to put it out there.

Surge groans. I wasn't sure why she had never socked the other in the jaw and be done with it. Why did it have to be him of all people to cross paths with her.

"It's not as bad as it used to be. The modern era has granted some level of peace to the region." There's a flicker of pride in her voice. Her home had changed so much in her absence, and that was to be expected- but the changes were good. She liked the way humans seemed to change around her, the way the world shifted with each passing year.

Lisa fussed slightly with the hem of her sleeve as she spoke. "Some of the younger vampires have arranged deals with the human clinics, to take blood donations that are rejected or unsuitable for transfusion. It's helped reduce the killings at least."

{{ L }} "Would hope so, not against ravaging my old stomping grounds if I am ordered to."

The tides of time had changed human and vampire relations. Just felt like yesterday London was on fire and the streets shined crimson with a sea of blood as Millennium and the Vatican decided to wage war. Did tend to make his job stale.

"That is good. So, you seem well read and I can only assume you walked the night for some time now... so I am curious if you know of me, or what I do."

She motions to the bartender, "Get this gentleman whatever he wants." She instructed chuckling to herself.

‎ ‎ "Take it you've had a rough day?"

Removing his hat, Striker sets it on the counter before ordering the hardest liquor this place had to offer. "You always make a habit of buying others drink?"
