I don’t know if you can help me, but I’m desperately hunting for a Cherik fan song from like 2012 ish? I cannot remember the name of the song or the lyrics but it was really good and it was someone playing acoustic guitar and singing. I finally finished it. I know it is a bit rushed but I'm still happy with how it turned out. I really wanted to post it before New Year. Brainworms about those two aren't dying. Based on screens from the movie Jane Eyre. I really want to do next one based on dofp but it is so much work! I hope whoever watches my silly blog that you enjoy my art <3 Also Happy New Year! ----------- The storm of the heated argument they had moments ago was still painted on Charles’ face as he climbed the first two steps of the stairs hastily. Erik reached out to stop him, allowing the body to act before the mind even could proceed. He didn’t want for them to part like that, especially with the disagreement. Charles' face shifted into a surprise and then quickly into that soft fondness, reserved only for Erik. His eyes were vibrant blue even in a dim light of empty corridors of the mansion.
When Charles was pulled forward he didn’t hesitate. A step from the stairs gave him an advantage to lean into Erik and wrap arms around his shoulders for support. The distance between them was closed immediately, both drawn to one another so naturally, as if they had done such before for many years. They exchanged a soft kiss as Erik spun them around, another when Charles leaned forward and another once his feet touched the floor again.
A soft blush spread over Charles’ cheeks and one of his hair strands slid over his forehead. Erik let out a small gasp but wasn’t given enough time to fully steady his breath when Charles leaned in again and deepened the kiss allowing their tongues to entwine. Erik could feel the brush of Charles' powers against his mind at the same time, not knowing if it was conscious or not but he welcomed it gladly. Neither of them cared if any of the kids or Raven could see them now, all that mattered were Charles’ hands digging into the material of his top and their lips connected, sharing the same air.
Even as they parted ways, their hands extended towards one another, seeking to touch, caressing their fingers and wanting to prolong this moment.
Tomorrow they could face anything.
Together.

Every time Charles tried to stop Erik from killing it was "DON'T KILL PEOPLE", but he should have said "you're hurting my feelings" "why are you doing this to ME" because Erik doesn't give a fuck about other people but he loves Charles. This would have solved 87% of their problems.
You can't argue with Erik to stop on moral grounds because he believes he is 100% right all the time, no exceptions. But Charles COULD get him to stop by going "🥺🥺🥺 baby please"

Summary: When Erik upsets his children, they have a habit of running away from home--and straight to Charles' school for cookies and consolation. Charles doesn't mind the visitors, but as they appear more and more frequently, he realizes that sooner or later, he and Erik are going to have to talk about what happened on the beach and what it means for their future and the future of Erik's children.
Summary: "So instead of making the most out of this next months, because you don't know where either of you is going to end up, you decided to stay away from each other to get used to the feeling?" Hank summed up, stopping in front of the class. Charles nodded his head confidently and beamed at him, but somehow his smile didn't reach his eyes.

Well, that was the most idiotic plan Hank's ever heard.
Summary: Charles and Erik were friends with benefits in college.
They went their separate ways and 18 years later, they run into each other in New York.
The sex was never a problem back in college - and sex was all it had been. But now Erik is a divorced father and Charles has admitted to himself he needs more than just sex in a relationship. So in their usual round-about way they try to navigate becoming friends after so many years. The whole quest is aided by Raven, Edie, Wanda and Pietro (and a large number of shark jokes).
