When you get email notification that someone has left comments on multiple of your fics from over a decade ago!: :D :D :D :D

When you see that they are all asking about whether Jon Snow was legitimized in that particular story and are not actually about the fic at all: :-| :-| :-|

I swear the emotional torment of this will-they-or-won’t-they is almost worse the second time around because it’s so blatant and yet it feels like they’re just going to blue ball us forever.  On the bright side, there is always fanfic and the Elliot/Olivia tag was pretty barren after ten years of no Elliot so on top of the gifs and graphics and new content of them being more blatantly romantic than they ever were in 1.0, at least it single-handedly revived the E/O fandom.

Thank you so much for your kind words, anon! I'm going to be honest that I don't have any immediate plans to update that story. I don't have anything written for part three and the fic writing has mostly ground to a halt the last few years. Never say never, but I would say highly unlikely. Hopefully people enjoy it in the unfinished state it is in. :)
