Buck when other members of the 118 are in immediate danger vs Buck when Eddie’s in immediate danger (id in alt text)

um. fat people are allowed to be outside btw. fat people are allowed to wear clothes that do not completely flatter them. fat people are allowed to have their belly showing or wear clothes too small for them. fat people are allowed to exist in whatever they want and we dont have to constantly make ourselves look appealing + attractive. skinny people can wear lazy clothes and be called gorgeous but god forbid a fat person not put 100% into their fucking appearance every single day of their life

Genuinely one of my favorite parts of 9-1-1 is that covid is canon. Same with This Is Us and, I've heard, Grey's (which I don't watch).

I know a lot of people look to their TV shows as a suspension of this reality, to feel good and ignore the atrocities that are happening around us, so they're a little miffed at the use of masks and mentions of vaccination...but it makes me so happy. Obviously I wish it wasn't necessary at ALL but I like that they've accepted it, normalized the use of new safety equipment, and in the case of 9-1-1 and Lone Star, they've used it as a plot device and made some hella good scenes out of it.

Hello Friends

I've come crawling back to tumblr so you know what that means.....a new hyperfixation!

I'll probably reblog a fuck ton of 9-1-1 shit in between a few random posts from my dash and then disappear for another 6 months but in the meantime, enjoy the hellscape.

p.s. Buck and Eddie are in love and you can not convince me otherwise. Apparently this has always been a big ship in the fandom but I haven't paid it any mind until this last season where it became increasingly obvious so I guess I'm late to the party but anyway Buddie is real kbye
