The image shows part of the Sun’s chromosphere, which sits just above the Sun’s visible surface, and appears red during a total solar eclipse. It also captures the last beads of light glinting through gaps in the rugged lunar topography.

some USAmericans really have no idea how fucking hard it is to obtain a visa, how “filling out the papers” can literally take years, how skewed the process is, how it favours white immigrants and disfavours immigrants of colour. if it was so easy, people wouldn’t be trying to enter the country illegally, risking their lives to get their family to a place with better living conditions.

On May 1, 1994, a woman wishes me a happy birthday. Now I’ll remember her all my life. If memories ever come in a can, I hope that can never expires. If it has to have a shelf life, I hope it’s 10.000 years.
