B-town, 2016.

Wow it’s 2016. This blog was formed in 2013...so nearly 3 years!

To be honest, I hoped that this blog would be updated more frequently by me and my co-bloggers, but...

life got in the way.

Let’s not dwell on that though.

Some recent Bollywood-related thoughts:

- What I have been surprised by, was that the black and white photo of Aishwarya & SRK that I posted a few months ago has got nearly 700 notes! That’s the most I’ve ever had by something posted organically from this blog. I’m acting like I actually took the pic and put the black & white filter on it. I didn’t, but still. I’m happy :)

- Recent movies I’ve seen:

Kapoor & Sons- Liked it, but I felt a bit weird watching it. Not necessarily bad, but maybe just out of normal Dharma-zone feeling. Wish there was more of Alia’s character in it.

Neerja- Very emotional movie. Done well. I won’t be watching it again, because it’s too sad.

- Sonam Kapoor released an app...based on her. She is a brand herself, and I think having established herself as a fashion icon, and seeing Instagram accounts of her/her fashion team etc--> that content/tips/tutorial will be interesting. The rest of the content can probably be found with a little bit of online scooping. They say it’s not based off the Kardashian apps, but please. It definitely it. Although, it says Sonam’s app is free, will there be costs in the future? The Kardashian apps cost to buy, and I hear they are doing very well. Something to watch out for- Bollywood stars getting on top of the digital medium (other than social media). I think Alia will get into the space, and perhaps Ranveer Singh too.

- Udta Punjab trailer was interesting. Wish there was more Shahid & Kareena interaction in the film/promotions.

Till next time,

xx Tina
