Let’s see how well this goes... but here’s attempt number 34093857 at tryin to come back to tumblr.. deleted 90% of my posts to start fresh.. so where’s errybody at? Where’s the love? HOW Y’ALL DOIN??

GUESS WHAT, YA BOY’S TURNIN 25 SOON!!

1.  WHAT DOES YOUR MUSE SMELL LIKE? Matthew smells like pure sweat 50% of the time, the other 50% some form of cologne, usually something subtle and not overpowering. He doesn’t mean to be sweaty all the time, but given his near addiction to working out, it’s only a given his natural scent has waned in this direction. The cologne is to cover it up if he fails to shower, or, in some cases, just to smell a little nicer during the day.

2. HOW OFTEN DOES YOUR MUSE BATHE? ANY BATHING HABITS?  He showers at minimum three times a day: once in the morning as he wakes up, again after a gym session to wash off the sweat, and finally again at night after the day’s over. To some it may seem like excess, but to him it’s nothing much, just something he’s grown accustomed to as the years have passed. He’s also accumulated a million shampoo and body wash bottles because of his showering habits; there’s always at least four in his shower at all times. He has no particular bathing habits despite showering so often; if it is considered a “habit,” Matthew simply follows the same “routine” each shower: rinse hair, rinse body, dry off. He may hum to himself in the shower, however, but that is something he doesn’t like to admit to. 

3. DOES YOUR MUSE HAVE ANY TATTOOS OR PIERCINGS? Matthew only has his ears pierced, no tattoos. He doesn’t know if he particularly wants any tattoos in the future; for now he’s satisfied with his ears pierced. He has three of them, by the way, two in his left ear and one in the right.

 4. ANY FACE / BODY MOVING QUIRKS ( I.E. LEG SHAKING )? Like anyone, when a little impatient Matthew may begin to shake his leg or tap his fingers against something. But overall, the man can stay fairly still in his seat. That is, unless he’s hyping someone up, then consider Matthew standing and shouting with a huge smile on his face.

5. WHAT DO THEY SLEEP IN? Usually Matthew is shirtless when he sleeps, accompanied with either a pair of underwear if it’s undeniably hot, or something along the lines of basketball / mesh shorts. If it’s a bit colder he may put on a shirt or tank top and instead sleep in a full “outfit,” and if it’s near winter, possibly sweats instead of shorts. Nothing fancy or matching, as he does not own a full set of pajamas. 

6. WHAT IS THEIR FAVORITE PIECE OF CLOTHING? Probably his vast array of shirts--specifically his tank tops he may wear to dance practices or studio sessions by himself ( and even the gym too! ). They’re easy to move in and don’t cling to his body as he works himself out, which means less sweaty clothing to peel off once the day’s done. He enjoys the freedom of movement in his dressings, hence why most everything he owns is baggy.

7. WHAT DO THEY DO WHEN THEY WAKE UP? As mentioned in another post, Matthew almost immediately prepares to go to the gym upon waking up. This means quick shower, something to eat, and dressing for a workout. Then he’s off for a few hours as he works out. If there is no time for a gym session in the morning, then upon waking up he simply showers and gets dressed, and then is whisked off to whatever KARD schedule there may be that day.

8. HOW DO THEY SLEEP? He sleeps on his stomach, usually, with a pillow half tucked under his torso, almost as if he’s cuddling someone. The blanket is usually only pulled up to his waist as well, leaving his shirtless self exposed to the cooler air of the room. Nothing special, but, it is how he favors to sleep. If it’s cold, then he may pull up the blanket all the way and opt to lay on his side, where he can curl up warmly under the covers.

9. WHAT DO THEIR HANDS FEEL LIKE? Somewhat calloused from lifting weights for years is how Matthew’s hands feel. They aren’t too worn or “hard,” but running one’s fingers across his palms renders the feeling of slight harshness where his hands grasp constantly at the metal bars of weights. Definitely not “soft” or “smooth” in the slightest. 

10. IF YOU KISSED THEM, WHAT WOULD THEY USUALLY TASTE LIKE? Matthew doesn’t share kisses often, or at all as of late for that matter. There’s no pinpointed taste of what his kisses would be; perhaps “normal” for a lack of better terms, just like whatever he may have eaten that day or something along those lines. He’s not one to partake in relationships, so he cannot say what he exactly “tastes” like 100%. Perhaps a bit “powerful”? Heh.

Matthew isn’t the most creative of people when it comes to usernames. That being said, however, the lack of creativity arises from him already having “pre-selected” a username for all his social media. He’s sort of established himself as “Big Matthew” and has had the nickname for so long; he can’t really see himself naming his social media any differently. Therefore, his Twitter handle would probably be some form of “bigmatthewww,” like his Instagram is. Maybe a few more Ws or another letter as there is the possibility that “bigmatthewww” may be taken due to K.A.R.D’s surge in popularity ( fans do enjoy having usernames that relate to the band after all! ). The only time he’d choose something different would be if “bigmatthewww” was taken, or he was attempting to hide himself on social media under a private account.

He’s always a sucker for action-packed movies. So it’s unsurprising that Matthew tends to favor the action-type films over all else. Superhero flicks are always fun to watch, or heist movies with intense sequences. They’re a roller-coaster of a movie and never cease to capture his attention in full, which can be difficult given his short attention span. And not to mention the fighting sequences or the explosions excite him! Always so amazing to see unfold, as he would say. However, Matthew also favors crude and crass comedy movies if he needs a good laugh, but also won’t hesitate to watch a B-Grade, low budget horror film if he needs something “stupidly funny” to view.

Given the new and packed schedules, Matthew’s had a harder time to watch Netflix series as of late. However, if he does happen to have time, he’ll find himself viewing random episodes of his favorite shows that are available on the platform. These include American shows such as Parks and Recreation, The Cleveland Show, Power Rangers ( that was his childhood! ) or Japanese anime such as Naruto. If he’s feeling up for it, however, he may attempt to start a popular Netflix original, such as Black Mirror, Stranger Things, or one of the many Marvel series. There’s no promises however that he’d be able to finish them though.

Matthew currently owns an iPhone 6, making him an Apple user. However, during the Wild Kard Tour and Secret Kard videos, he used an LG / Samsung phone for sake of promotion ( LG is a sponsor of K.A.R.D, as outlined at the beginning of their “Rumor” and “Hola Hola” MVs. ).

Matthew’s a very energetic person and so it’s also unsurprising that he finds summer as his favorite season. He feels he’s most free in the summer; there’s less obligations, the sun’s constantly out, and there’s a number of things you’re able to do that you couldn’t before in other seasons. The brightness of his surrounding reflects on his overly cheery nature in summer as a result. He spent a lot of summers as a kid playing outside, which also adds to the specialty of summer to him. On the flip side, Matthew is not the biggest fan of winter. It’s much colder to him then, and in South Korea it snows, something he’s not quite used to given his overly warm hometown of Los Angeles ( Los Angeles winters are not freezing cold, but at most mild in temperature ), 

Matthew is one-hundred percent a top. He’s dominant in nature and already a natural born-leader type, so it’s no surprise these traits reflect in these aspects. That does not mean he is entirely stubborn or set in his dominant ways, however; if a partner expresses their distaste for an overly dominant Matthew, he will take the time to reel such aspects of him back and allow more control to the other party ( whether intimately or platonically ). This makes him versatile if needed, but for the most part Matthew falls on the definitively “top” spectrum.

Matthew’s morning routine is nothing overtly special. On any particular morning, if schedules permit, Matthew will wake early: he is not the type to sleep in, weekends especially. At most he may hit snooze once. This is because he finds the morning hours to be time where he can work out and keep himself in shape. Thus, he’ll often wake at early hours, following the wake up call almost immediately with a quick shower and then an hour or so at the gym. He’ll return back home mid-morning / early afternoon, showering again to clean himself of gym sweat before starting his day with K.A.R.D schedules or whatever else has been planned. If an event is scheduled for a particular morning and there is no excuse for him to be late, Matthew will instead wake up in the morning, shower, and then head out to the desired location to participate in said schedule. He will then reserve time at night to work out to make up for the loss of a morning workout, unless he finds himself too tired from whatever the schedule may have been. Usually, though, Matthew has enough energy by the day’s end to hit the gym if he missed his morning routine’s.
