I’m Done.

TW: Abuse, Rape, and Death Threat mentions. I’m done. This blog is done. My time in this community is done.

The place that I have called home for almost two years is home no longer, all for reasons I could have never comprehended when I opened my blog. Of course, I had gone into the community knowing that it wouldn’t all be rainbows and butterflies, but for the most part, it worked out. I found success with a canon muse, met fun new people, and started fresh after removing an abusive friend from my life.

It was a great time. Naturally, there were hiccups here and there, but overall, people were in the community for the RP. It was a cinch to find threads of all genres and varieties, and I frequently found myself marveling to friends that it was just as easy to find deep, philosophy-driven threads as it was to find crack and fluff. Every day, I fell more and more in love with my muse, and in return, he granted me an outlet through which to grow confident in my writing. This is a gift that has impacted me beyond RP, and I cannot imagine what my life would be like if I was still insecure in my writing, both in RP and academically.

Unfortunately, this has all changed.

This community is barely a shadow of what it used to be. Where there once stood a community that was friendly to RPers of all preferences, there now only remains a clique that shuns those that shy away from the sexual and avoid the sweet.

I have many specific grievances. Too many, really. The two things I can say with certainty are that my irritation has been building with each incident, and I could never hope to list them all here. But for the sake of supporting my point, I will try my best to describe some of the most egregious of the recent offenses:

The longer he tries to cling to what remains of those principles for him (in this case, his honor), the more disillusioned he becomes, until he finally breaks and allows his impulsive nature to rebel against the broken confines of Ionian/societal order. Because of his reckless tendencies, he ends up going overboard, though, championing chaos instead of a viable solution.

Whenever Rito shows that Yasuo is meant to be a jerkass, and not your everyday wise asian satam cartoon character. Is always an A+ on my book.

Yasuo is a complex character.

I am very happy with their work on this skin. Gotta love complete jerkass Yasuo because of all of these reasons.

I love it how you didn’t take bits of him out of complete context and demonized him. This always makes me happy <3
