Hey guys, sorry for the repeat picture, BUT I wanted to update you guys.

My job has been shut down for the past week due to lack of work and the threat of covid-19 creeping closer. It's now only 2 counties away from my home.

I worked Thursday thru today, Sunday, on a very physically exhaustive job, and was exposed to 2 areas where there were possible cases.

I wanted to take a moment to inform you that due to my work being shut down, I will be focusing the majority of my free time on taking weekly commissions to make money to pay my bills. My goal is to make $300/week to cover everything.

I'm telling you this so that you know why my blog has gone inactive again for the time being. I am currently not too worried, but I know it can get scary fast.

This all being said, I will continue to work on things for the blog when not working on commissions, gaming, or working on other personal projects.

Please be patient with me, as new content is on the way. (I promise!)

Hey guys! It's been quite a long time. A year? Two years? I've lost track, really. A lot has happened in this time that I've been away, and lately I've been thinking about this blog again. So let's start at the beginning, shall we?

After I stopped updating the blog and went on hiatus, I realized that I had a problem. A big one. My depression and anxiety had ramped up a lot, and at the end of my blog's life, it was showing through. I felt awful that it had went this way, but I didn't know how to fix it. I thought about deleting my blog entirely so that it was no longer there for people to look at/deal with/etc. But I just couldn't bring myself to. I kept putting it off and pushing it to the back of my mind, too mentally tired to come up with a solution.

During this time, I fell out of the MLP fandom. I stopped keeping up with episodes, I stopped having interest in interacting with other pony fans, I stopped having interest in buying (most of) the merch. I just.. Stopped. For a while, I felt like these things were childish and I needed to move on and grow up.

Instead, I had delved myself into the world of Dungeons & Dragons, taking part in multiple campaigns, and even creating one of my own (which I still run on Fridays and Saturdays currently) and also doll customizing. Even though dolls can be seen as childish (hypocritical on the reason I stopped liking ponies, I know) I saw them as art forms, and not actual childish things. I took part in doll customization swaps, collabs, etc, but that too lost its appeal to me. Only D&D remained.

In the midst of my hobby wars, I also had a tragedy strike. Last February, the elderly lady I used to take care of passed away, and left me jobless. I quit the home care agency, and was immediately hired on at a restoration company, where I quickly rose to my current marketing position.

Fast forward a year, and we're here. I'm in the best mental state I've ever been in, I have a loving fiancé that I've been with for nearly 3 years now, I have a good, steady, well paying job, and overall, I'm finally happy.

So what brings me back to this blog?

Because I've finally decided on its future.

Thanks to a friend of mine (and also the adorable new MLP brushable toys), my love of ponies is rekindling. Slowly, but it is. I never stopped loving Astrid and the positivity she spread in her earlier days.

So I have decided.

I'm going to completely overhaul this blog: delete most of if not all of the old posts, redesign, etc., and restart this blog.

I plan to maybe give Astrid an updated look, an updated backstory, and some other things. I'm going to update at my leisure so as to not stress myself out, and continue to spread positivity like the early days.

Thank you so much to those of you that sent me kind words, and for sticking with me through all this. I really appreciate you.

Spring Celebration Festival EVENT

The Spring Celebration Festival is a special event from Astrid’s home world, Spiritain. It’s to celebrate the coming of spring, and to celebrate when Princess Tierra pushed the darkness back and saved the Shimmerwood Forest.

The Spring Celebration Festival is celebrated with many different activities, such as: - Goldfish scooping - Fireworks - Food - Yo-Yo Scooping - Dancing - Viewing flowers in the royal garden - Picnics - Decorating the Maypole

Ponies decorate their manes and tails with flowers, and fix their manes in intricate, fancy styles. Their accessories are delicate and made out of various metals, and they wear beautiful see-through fabrics draped across their bodies.

The Spring Celebration Festival is open to all pony blogs!!

All you have to do is draw your pony in Spring Celebration Festival attire and/or enjoying an activity at the festival and tag my blog! This goes on from today (March 20th, the First Day of Spring) for a week (ends March 26th).

Feel free to send in your pieces or tag me! At the end of the event, I’ll make a collage with all the pieces and a final closeout piece with Astrid, Pixel, and Kos, and also some other special ponies.
