heh. WELL. for starters, in my head gary wouldnt have a superhero alter ego, so sorry if you were expecting a silly love square between 2 pairs of identities ;_;... BUT that doesnt mean we cant have fun with it. something that came into my mind was hero reporter/journalist gary having the fattest crush on toolshed and writing plenty of columns about him BUT then in turn, he just doesnt see stan that way because he thinks that stan wouldnt like him that way. MEANWHILE stan has a big old crush on gary, and he knows that gary really likes toolshed but doesnt seem interested in stan, which in turn puts him in a stalemate because he wants to tell gary that hes toolshed, but cant- but then he also fears that if he tells gary that he likes him that things might get awkward because stan doesnt think gary is interested in Him.

it's a little convoluted but it makes enough sense.. huhu these asks make me want to draw some stuff with these two.

so for tsot, im thinking about him being some type of healer class and specifically a magic using shepherd (because its humble and also somewhat religious). for his backstory, i'm tied with him being a runaway prince from a far off kingdom living life as a shepherd or a traveling pagan who ventured out into the world away from his family. i dont really know but i like both a lot... 🥺

as for tfbw, i think gary is a reporter. no superhero alter ego. why? because 1) i feel like he would best suit that role, and him not having an alter ego adds onto his modesty and simplicity as Just A Guy and 2) i cant think of anything LOL. i can see him as some type of vigilante hero though, sort of like how mysterion was with how no one knew who he was at first- but i think hero journalist/reporter gary fits really well. also, i can see him getting caught in a lot of shenanigans between the heroes and villains whilst still having a cheerful attitude. kidnapped for ransom? that's okay! things could be worse! ^_^

ive been trying to think of more stuff for this... but ill draw some of these ideas soon
