Ah--- Ibara, as he recalled. They’d not spoken personally, nor had much of a chance to outside of the Sports Festival and training camp, where they were both too busy in one way or another. She had seemed like more than a little strong when he had seen her, though. And nice. She must be looking forward to the Winter Ball as much as most everyone else is. “Yeah.” That is perhaps the one thing he actually could say for sure about this whole ball so far, aside from the fact that he’d now maybe chosen his committee. “I went ahead and got mine early on so I wouldn’t have to worry about it last minute. Did you?”
“Well, uh- the whole ‘royalty competition’ going on isn’t really my type of thing, but good luck to those of you who are entering it?”

the smaller girl couldn’t help but overhear what the other had said . she had just been in passing but this was a chance for her to get another member of the committee that she was a part of ! plus, shoji’s multiple limbs would be very helpful with moving lots of things !

Ah. Well, the answer was a little out of the blue, but not unwelcome. It didn’t surprise him to learn that someone like Uraraka would be in the decoration committee, considering it seemed like just the type of thing they’d enjoy.
Unfortunately, he can’t say for sure whether he himself would enjoy it quite as much, but she makes a decent point. One arm raises, a mouth already forming on its end to speak. “Or six?” There comes a very quiet, muffled snort of amusement from his actual face before it’s followed by the extra mouth speaking again. “Maybe. I’m not really the type for decorating-” Cue flashback to everyone’s disappointment with his nigh empty dorm room. “-but if people tell me where things need to go, I guess I could get it done.”
“The decorating committee hasn’t been too bad so far, save for a few extremely competitive people.”
“...really?” Hm. “I’m not sure how great I’d be at decorating, but I guess I could probably hang things up in places where other people can’t reach?” Hard to say how much help he’d really be, but it’s a possibility....
