Warnings: lil bit of angst, but mostly just pining and fluff

A/N: Happy Valentines Day @fallingprincess! This is my gift to you for @dtfrogertaylor’s Somebody to Love event! I hope you enjoy it. Sorry it’s so ridiculously late, I recently got a new job and the training has taken up all of my time! This was my first time writing for Ben so I hope it’s okay :)

You couldn’t roll your eyes harder if you tried. The walls of the meeting hall were covered in tacky red and pink decor; you might have thought the organizers had bought every heart-shaped decoration in town. You were nursing a shitty beer as you watched the people around you mingle with borderline desperate enthusiasm. The whole event was a cringefest and you were unlucky enough to be a part of it.

Soulmates Through Time

Pairing: Ben Hardy x Reader

Summary: Ben and Y/N are soulmates. They’ve been together ever since the beginning of time. In this fic we’ll take a glimpse of ther encounters and love for each other through different times.

Wordcount: 3 692 (my longest!)

Warnings: fluff, smut (wrap it before you tap it, guys!), humor, dick/cock jokes, mentions of attempted raping (if you’re not comfortable reading about it, just skip ‘Roman Empire’ part).

A/N: I had this idea from a long time, finally I decided to write it.

I didn’t put Ben and Y/N’s names in the past parts (in the fic they’re simply referred to as ‘he and she’) because people had different names in their previous lives but in the fic Ben and Y/N (aka you) still look the same.

I’m so sorry if there are any mistakes. English is not my first language. I hope you like it! Gif credit goes to owner/maker. This is my first ever Ben fic, please be patient with me.

Dinosaur Chicken Nuggets

“You gotta marry someone you know you’d still be down to fuck in the laundry room real quick while the kids are downstairs watching Lion King and ten minutes left till the dinosaur chicken nuggets are ready to come out the oven.”

SMUT SMUT SMUT 18+

“Good way to shut the kids up? Put on the Lion King for the eight hundredth time.” Ben smirked, walking into the laundry room where you were folding clothes. Wrapping his arms around your waist, he leaned his chin on your shoulder.

“Hmm? You know Charlotte loves cuddling on your lap when watching movies.” You replied, smiling at the close bond your daughter shared with her father.

“Yeah well, Mufasa’s death part is coming up, and I can’t let my little girl know her daddy is soft.” Ben smirked against the skin on your neck as he placed kisses to your shoulder.

“Mufasa dies? Wow, spoiler alert.” You giggled as his mouth latched to your sweet spot. You melt into his touch, spinning in his arms to kiss him on the lips. Hell, this was the most uninterrupted action you’ve had in a while. You tugged on his blonde locks in your fingers as he moaned into your mouth, giving you access to slip your tongue in.

“I want to fuck you so bad.” Ben moaned in your ear, nibbling on your earlobe.

“Then fuck me.” You replied as he backed you towards the corner of the room.

“Daddy!” Your eldest, Oliver called out to his dad from the lounge room.

“Yeah mate, be there in a sec!” Ben replied.

“Dinosaur chicken nuggets.” Ben said to you, rolling his eyes. You give him a confused look.

“Is that our new safe word?”

“No, dinosaur chicken nuggets are ready in ten minutes, so we have to be quick.” Ben laughed, hoisting you up on the dryer, the vibrations stimulating your sensitive core.

The sounds of I Just Can’t Wait To Be King was heard downstairs as Ben pushed into you, holding onto both sides of the dryer to stop it from moving due to his rough fucking.

“Ben,” you moaned, dropping your head into your husbands neck as he pounded you relentlessly.

“You better fucking pull out.” You warn him as you felt his cock twitch inside you, remembering your agreement to hold off for anymore kids for a while.

“I’m coming.” Ben growled in your ear.

“Me too.”

All of a sudden, Ben pulled out in record time and coated your thighs in white spurts.

You hopped off the dryer as your legs felt like jelly. “Here, love.” Ben grabbed a dirty wash cloth and cleaned your thighs as well as his cock.

“This is what it’s come to has it?” You smiled as you pulled up your shorts. “Housework quickies?” You giggle, kissing Ben.

“Gives ‘dirty laundry’ a whole new meaning.” Ben winked, pinching your butt. “My naughty little maid.”

“Let’s go feed our cherubs.” You mumble against his lips, grabbing his hand to lead him towards the kitchen.

“What about kitchen counter sex?”

“Not a chance in hell, Benjamin.”

Guys!

I just came to an exciting realization! I’ve been tracking my mood since my high school graduation (about 4 months ago) by coloring a square in my bullet journal a certain color based on my mood for the day. Today was the first day in three months that I completely filled the square with pink (the color I chose to represent happiness)!

In honor of that, I hope to spread happiness and post some good old fashioned, teeth rotting fluffy imagines this weekend!

I already have a Harrison one in the works but send me some requests!

Love you all and may your skin be clear, your life happy, the sun shining, and may your dreams come true!

It’s Not Easy - “Six”

a/n: second Six fic!!! i love how this turned out! don’t know when the second part will be up, but i hope it’ll be up sometime next week. can’t promise anything though

another a/n: i chose Nicolas/Nick for Six’s name before he faked his death. so when i use that name, i’m referring to Six :)

•••

You remember the day you were told he died like it was yesterday.

FLASHBACK

You were sitting at home one day, all alone because Nick had decided to take a trip to Italy for a few weeks for a vacation with friends. You didn’t mind, considering he hasn’t had much time to see anyone, with planning your wedding and all.

You two had been dating for four years before he popped the question. It was very intimate and sweet, and you were so happy to finally be marrying the man you love. But, that all turned around when a knock on the door sounded through your home one day. Standing to answer it, you were face to face with a very official-looking man in a suit.

“Are you Miss (Y/N) (Y/L/N)?” He asks.

“Yes. Is there something wrong?”

“We have gotten word that your fiancé Nicolas has been killed in an airplane crash in Italy. Unfortunately, we are not able to locate his remains, so there is no body to bring home. I am so sorry for your loss, miss.” With that, he walked away from your home and got into the car parked in the street for him.

You, however, stood there, frozen. Nick was dead. Gone. Killed in an airplane crash, and there were no remains for you to get some closure. And that’s when you lost it. Trudging back inside, you fall back onto the couch and just cry. Over the fact that your fiancé is dead, over the fact you didn’t get to tell him you love him, over the fact that you’d never have the family you had dreamed of since meeting him. Everything fell apart within that second.

END OF FLASHBACK

Six’s POV:

“Do you know what the greatest thing about being dead is?” One asks the group as we sit, enjoying breakfast in Italy. All of us look around, wondering what he was getting at.

“No more criminal records,” I speak up, causing the group to chuckle and nod along.

“No more office parties,” Four says. “Or stupid weddings.” My heart drops to my stomach and my mouth goes dry. I immediately think back to (Y/N), the day I asked her to marry me. It just hit me that I’d never get to marry her. Damn. Is this group really worth that?

“Six?” I hear Five break me out of my daydream. “You alright?” I sigh deeply and nod.

“Jus’ thinkin’.”

“About?” One questions. I shake my head and try to find a way to avoid the question.

“I was engaged before all of this. But, that doesn’t matter.” They all share an apologetic look, especially Four, for having brought up the thought. There is an awkward silence for a moment, then One continues on with his little speech. My mind, however, stays on (Y/N) and how much I miss her.

Loved this chapter ! Can I be added to your tag list ? ❤️

Who Do You Love? (Ben Hardy x Reader Fluff/Smut)

Warnings: SMUT, Angst, insinuations of physical abuse

Word Count: 3446

Ben and I always had this interesting dynamic. Since we met back at the start of Primary School we’ve been each other’s, go-to person. I mean if anyone was giving us a hard time, or (as we began to do when we were a little older) had a crush on someone but didn’t quite have the balls to make the first move we would go to each other for advice and protection. As we grew the dynamic would change. Whenever one of us suffered a break-up, or if my parents decided to drive me towards the edge (again) we would lend each other a shoulder to cry on and let each other know that no matter what we were still loved. That was how it always was between us. Then when we were thirteen we attended the Halloween party that started everything.

The Ghost (Six Underground): Chapter One

Chapter' Synopsis: The life of (Y/N), a young diplomatic changes when an old proposal is brought up to the table by a group of mysterious agents, including figures of her past.

Pairing (slow burn at its finiest): Six (Ben Hardy) x Reader

Warnings: Brief language and drinking, mentions of blood, kidnapping, long dialogues (seriously)

Note: Yes, I know that the movie is not out yet! Half of the things on this story are made up or taken out of the trailer/synopsis/an article that describes the roles of each one so here goes nothing! This went through a lot of rewrites so please, be nice and also, a quick reminder that English is not my first language.

I promise that the second chapter will be better.

Chapter One: The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

Humans have always had the curiousity to answer to this question: what happens after death and where do you go?

There were too many names, days, parties and dangerous shit that led up to where you are right now, things that happened in front of you and behind your back. Your head could explode from all that shit you found and went through in only seven days. Once you had a privileged, gorgeous and extended view of the world and for you, the view was amazing, you couldn't believe that with only two eyes, you were able to see many things at once, the paths that were offered for you were endless and you could take all the paths you wanted without worrying about anything but nobody told you that view was just only a cover.

A cover from the real view, from the chaotic and unfair world that was hidden from you, thanks to the fact that you were the only daughter of the most influential diplomatic family in the last decade, you had always been protected like an unique jewel that the world needed to preserve for a reason. For the rich people, their view of the world is always covered with glamorous things and zero worries but that also meant bad things: no freedom, no liberty to take your own choices nor say what you wanted to say, every failed try ended in a "No" for you; it was like a shiny cage, you had everything but at the same time, it was all a lonely distraction, you weren't quite sure on how to feel towards your past life.

Past life, you think it sounds and feels weird but you aren't the only one who is in the same boat.

There was an answer to the question after all and somehow you knew where to pinpoint when your life ended...and when the new one started.

This story began with the most unexpected thing people could possibly imagine: with a death.

Your death.

WASHINGTON, D.C- DECEMBER 24TH, 2018

SEVEN DAYS BEFORE "ZERO HOUR"

The cold feeling of the vodka bottle slipped through your fingers as you poured yourself another drink, the small ice cubes started to float as the drink filled your glass to the top, you left the bottle in the mini bar and stood up to walk back to the king sized bed. The suite room you were put in was in complete silence, the closed windows and balcony door muffled all the noise of the american streets in Christmas Eve, the sound of the cold wind but left you with a nice view to the small snowflakes falling from the sky, the holiday spirit was left outside of the "best suite of all D.C" or as you called when you first saw it: a small and claustophobic palace. You took a long sip from your vodka with your eyes closed to let the strong burning feeling mixed with the cold run down from your mouth to your throat, you finished the drink in only three sips and with that you decided that was enough for you, you thought it wasn't appropiate for your family and for others to show up to this party all wasted down in vodka.

You scoffed at the thought of it but especially at the word "party", that was the reason why you were locked in that suite, the reason why a group of stylists got you all dressed up with a shiny dark red dress, black sheer tights, high heels of the same color, with make up covering your face and your hair up in a curly messy bun and the reason why your parents decided to leave the hotel to go to your country's embassy earlier than expected. It was a Christmas party, a holiday but the people whom belonged to the same socioeconomic level treated it like a big important party, another opportunity to shine in front of the lenses to then appear in the social section of the magazines. You truly wished your family and friends could see it with a different point of view.

Debussy's Clair de Lune started to play from your phone, the screen lighted up to show the photo of you and your father behind the Eiffel Tower, the contact name was simply "DAD", you stood up from the bed to walk to one of the tables, where all your things from your purse, to the party invitation were spread across it, you took your phone and slid your thumb over the screen before putting the device close to your ear.

-Dad?-. you said with a quiet sigh, your eyes closed once again as you listened to your dad speak, saying it was time to leave and go to the party to join him and your mother, that many people were waiting to meet you and as a final message, that your driver was outside waiting to take you. You sighed again, louder this time and nodded three times.

-I'm on my way, dad. I won't make you wait like the last time-. you said with a half smile and with your dad's chuckle as a response to your comment, the call ended. You put your phone inside your purse, you grabbed the invitation and your black coat and walked to the door to leave the suite, at last, with all intentions to at least try to have a good time with your family, since with all honesty, the moments you spend with your family weren't that much.

Three black cars escorted you to the embassy which was considerably far from the hotel, you were inside the second car, the one at the middle, as always. The vehicles moved through the streets in a moderate speed while you were checking your phone, your social media, how all your friends were spending the holidays with big parties, expensive gifts and fireworks everywhere, somehow you were amazed by all the celebrations of them but at the same time, you found it repetitive, a routine that repeated all the weekends.

That's what the wealthy life was all about...a group of lucky people living through the same experiences that are exciting at first but then get you inside a vicious cicle of monotony with no way out.

Your thoughts about your life came to an end in matter of seconds as a disgusting smell of smoke started to fill up the inside of the car and a strange silence from the outside made you wake and look up at the windows to see that none were open and since the windows were dark, you couldn't see where you were, so you shifted in the car seat and knocked on the small window that separated you from your bodyguard and the driver.

-Excuse me, do you smell that?-. you asked to the two men, your bodyguard turned around to look at you and then to the driver.

-Have you checked the car before picking Miss (Y/L/N) up?-. asked the bodyguard, aware of your worry.

-I did, more than once, maybe something happened with the engine, I don't know...-. said the driver.

-Can you stop the car and check it? It's scaring me, seriously-. you said.

-Miss, I have orders from your father to take you...

"I have orders from your father"

How many times have you heard that? Enough to make you go insane and tired of it.

-I can call my father, you can't just drive the car in this way, it's dangerous. Please, stop the car-. you ordered before taking your phone again to find your father in the contacts to call him.

-I'm gonna call Henry from the first car, see if he can take Miss (Y/L/N) to the party-. said the bodyguard, you dialed your father's number and put the phone near your ear as you looked up at the driver and the bodyguard, it only took a small blink of an eye between that moment and the one that came next.

Something fast and small passed through the driver's window and hit him right in the head, the sudden movement of the object made you jump out of the seat and drop the phone to the car's floor, without ending the call.

-What happened?!-. you asked as you looked through the small window.

All of a sudden, the driver's hands dropped out of the wheel, his head moved to one side and right after, a thin drip of blood began to fall down through his neck. You gasped horrified as you looked at the scene, the feeling of a hard drop coming from your stomach, a feeling of burn from your throat. It all happened too fast for you, too fast that you were feeling your blood rising up through your body.

-Man down! Man down! We are under attack! I repeat, we are under attack!-. yelled the bodyguard before dropping the phone to control the car, that somehow started to go faster than usual.

-What is happening?! What is happening?!-. you asked again, letting the panic take over your body and your feelings.

-Miss, I'm gonna need you to stay down and keep calm!-. said the bodyguard as he grunted in his struggle to drive the vehicle that was moving from side to side violently.

-I don't want to die!!-. you yelled out, small tears were forming on the corners of your eyes.

-Miss, stay calm! I promise I will get you out of this car!-. said the bodyguard before taking a look to the window at his right now.- Where the fuck are the other...

A second bullet crashed through the window behind you and hit in the bodyguard's head, killing him instantly, you screamed horrified and quickly moved down to the car's floor, without nobody driving the car, it started to move even faster so you waited for the worst thing to happen, there was no way out of that deadly trap so you closed your eyes and let out one last scream. Suddenly, the car crashed against one of the other black cars and for the last hit, the third blacm car crashed from behind, making the vehicle you were in turn over, you inmediately held yourself by gripping your hands on a seatbelt as the broken glasses, the loose things, the bodies of the driver and bodyguard started to go up and down with you as the vehicle turned over and over again without stopping. In one of those turns, you hit your forehead with the car's roof and in the next turn, the same thing hit the same spot harder than the first to finally end your nightmare and leave you unconscious.

. . .

A sharp pain coming out of that swollen spot of your head made you open your eyes again to find yourself with your legs stuck on one of the seats, broken windows, pieces of glass everywhere, the dead bodies were still inside the car. You groaned as your mind worked through to make you remember what happened, a short yet fast chain reaction of events led to the car crash: the smoke, the sudden deaths, the engine going crazy, the attack of the other two vehicles, how could all of that happen in only minutes? You breathed in and out repeatedly to calm yourself down and your hands traveled down your body to your legs to push apart the heavy object that was crushing you, your mind focused only on going out and call for help. But, all of those thoughts in your head were interrupted again, this time by a pair of firm hands that came from one of the windows and pushed the seat aside like it was nothing, you let out a tired gasp as the tears finally fell down your dirty cheeks, you tried to scream, to call for help and even you tried to escape by crawling to the other window.

-No, please...don't kill me, no!-. you begged as you were dragged outside the crashed car by the person, the tights you were wearing ripped open against the asphalt, once you were outside, your eyes looked around, the street was in complete darkness, not a single streetlight was on, the person grabbed your legs with both arms and then you felt another pair of arms grabbing yours to lift you up and take you away from the accident, you fought with the second person to not be taken but this other person was strong too but not as strong as the one who was holding your legs.

-Let me go...let me go, let m-...Help! Help me!!!-. you screamed with a hoarse voice, your eyes tried to find a small trace of light through the dark place but nothing was able to be found, it was like being blind. You felt a piece of fabric pressed on your mouth and nose and yet, another disgusting smell went up your nostrils, you made the big mistake of smelling that fabric thanks to your struggle of trying to breathe out.

You didn't know what happened after those few first breathings because a few minutes later, the chloroform made effect and your struggle stopped, both of your arms fell, your head moved aside and your eyes shut down. The people whom were taking you walked away from the crash spot, leaving behind the three cars, the dead men and the growing smell of gasoline that was dripping out from one of the cars. One of the attackers grabbed you by the waist and in one swift movement, carried you over their shoulder, the other attacker simply let you go with the first person as you two disappeared more into the darkness of the quiet and cold street and walked back to the crash, taking out a small phone out their vest.

-We got her, permission to finish with the operation-. said the attacker, a female voice, through the fabric mask that covered her face.

-Do it, we only have ten seconds before the time window closes-. said the male on the other side of the line.

The woman nodded and hung up before throwing the phone to the ground to destroy it, then she picked up the broken pieces and made her way back to the white van that was waiting two streets away from the crash, the vehicle was under the name of a maintenance service. As she walked, she pressed the black earpiece hidden under the mask.

-Five, it's time. Light it up-. she said.- Tell Four and Six we are on our way to Sandy Port.

24 HOURS LATER- DECEMBER 25TH

SIX DAYS BEFORE "ZERO HOUR"

Your eyes opened to a sudden sound of crashing water and a sensation of movement that was making you sick, you couldn't sleep anymore, you blinked a couple of times to recover your sight into the another wave of darkness that you woke up in, your eyes moved around the room to find a light until they stopped right behind you, a small window on the upper side of a wall gave you the only trail of light of the outside, you took a while to realise it was getting dark or maybe was the other way around. You slowly sat up on the hard ground as you felt something cold gripping your left wrist so you used your free hand to touch it.

-Oh great-. you murmured, you were handcuffed to an attached pole, just when you thought things couldn't get worse, you dropped your hand and breathed out all the oxygen you had held since you woke up. Somehow, the crahsing water and the movement didn't stop, it kept going, threatening you to keep you awake for the rest of the day.

Then the sound of a metallic door opening and rapidly closing made your head lift up and your eyes looked at one corner of the dark room, your basic instinct was crawl back to the wall, cover the ripped fabric of your party dress that exposed your skin and wrap your arm around your legs, now another door opened, this time, was yours: the open door showed even more darkness so you weren't able to see who was entering, you deduced by the sound of steps that echoed in the walls, it wasn't just one person. The footsteps stopped right when they were getting more clearer and closer to you.

-H-hello?-. you asked.- Who are you? W-hy am I here?

The people didn't answer.

-My parents will know about this soon and th-they can make an arrangement for you, j-just tell me how much and we will give you the amount in matter of hours-. you said, your voice sounded shaky with every word, exposing your fear and how cold the room was.- But you have to let me go first, I-I'm begging you.

-Oh, (Y/N), you will never change. Trying to beg for mercy first-. said a male voice.- Let me turn on the lights for ya.

The male voice sparked something inside you, like a sense of familarity but before you could answer to the male's commentary, the lights of the room turned on, your eyes reacted inmediately to the bright lights and you let out an annoyed groan, only the light made you feel more sick and nauseous. You blinked a few times once again to get used to the light, to the pristine and clean walls of the room and at the end, to the six people who were standing in front of you, you took your time to look at them, they were the contrast of the room, dressing like dark shadows; they were wearing black uniforms and grey vests, you could notice that four of them were broad, while the other two were more lean, no trace of their identities were found, their faces were covered under black masks with a creepy skeleton face design, you breathed in heavily and gripped down the fabric of your dress' skirt, it didn't matter to you if the voice of the leader sounded familiar to you, the six of them looked intimidating, scary, like ghosts.

-You don't scare me-. you said, lying to them and to yourself but the shaky sound of your voice gave the truth away already.

-When are you going to stop lying to yourself?-. said the lead male before moving his glovered hands up to his head, you watched him carefully as he was taking the mask off his face, revealing his identity: dark brown hair, eyes of the same colour, a growing stubble,  as soon as you saw his face, your mind grabbed the first memory you got from the man: 2014, an UN gala after the annual assembly and through the years, it turned out to be more of a partnership than a friendship until death striked in, two years ago.

A small sound came out of your mouth, you were trying to articulate a word, he wasn't amused by your reaction at all, like if he was prepared for that kind of reaction. The sounds of your mouth turned into scoffs and chuckles, your voice was trying to say his real name.

-Ah ah ah ah, don't say that name. He doesn't exist anymore-. he said as he placed his index finger on your lips.- Call me One.

You moved your head away and scoffed at the name, how ridiculous sounded for you.

-You son of a bitch, you are alive? Why am I not surprised? You are the kind of man who likes to disappear every once and a while.- you said, letting out a cold chuckle.

One rolled his eyes and walked back to the other five.- Four, please.

One of the lean duo walked to you and placed their hands on your forehead, checking the wound you got in the crash.

-You need stitches, corazon, you really took a hard blow in that accident, didn't you?-. she stated, it was a woman, she looked down to the cut on your lower lip and the cuts on your arms.- The rest will heal in days but I need to check that wound as soon as possible.

Four walked back to the lineup and nodded at One, One made his way to you again and grabbed a small chair from the corner to place it near you, he sat down and crossed his arms. You let out a dry laugh and rolled your eyes at him.

-How long did it take you? Months? Weeks? Because that death looked so believable, seriously, we all believed you were dead.

-We can discuss about fake deaths later, (Y/N)

-Then tell me why you and your goons kidnapped me and brought me to this room. What's the matter, One? You need money?-. you said, making a mocking tone when you said his "name".

You heard someone from the broad group laughing at your comment, the man walked around the room with their arms crossed.

-She is a feisty one, huh? Me agrada-. said the man. One glanced at the laughing man inmediately, which made him stop, the other lean person walked forward with an envelope.

-(Y/N) (Y/L/N), the only daughter of (Y/C)'s main embassador, ended high school earlier, studied at Cambridge, graduated with honors, a diplomatic in the making, ranked the third most influential people under 30 in Time. Maybe we can also add insolent to her CV-. this person was the woman from the crash.

-That's correct, Two-. said One.- This is the one I was looking for.

You laughed again and gave One a half smile, One turned to look at you.

-You really did your homework this time.- you commented.

-(Y/N), remember that boring meeting in France? When we escaped from that room and went for drinks?-. he asked.- When I told you I was in the making of an idea.

-How can I forget? You said that you didn't want to be remembered by your name and your life but by the good things you did-. you said, letting a sad and the first genuine smile you had since leaving the hotel room appeared.

-Well, this is...the thing, the idea-. he said, moving his hands up in the air.- This is the reason why I'm still alive, sorry to break it to you.

You shook your head at his words and looked down at your dress, your dirty skin and the bruises you had on your legs.

-If this is the idea you always had in your mind, you should've called me in the first place.

-Exactly but he didn't. In fact, that wasn't the first thing he did when he faked his death-. said another man in the group, you looked up at him, he was sitting on the corner, with the laughing man by his side.

-What is he talking about?-. you asked.

-When you die, you become nothing, with that advantage, you can do anything you want but I decided to use this for good, for all the injustice we all had to see in the world.

-That's how One recruited us, one by one and we followed his playbook of faking our deaths, we all have a job here but we do it for one thing and one thing only.- explained the laughing man.

-Become some sort of Batmen and Batwomen group?-. you asked sarcastically, you heard someone chuckle briefly behind One, the last member of the group who stayed quiet throughout the whole thing and was looking at you directly.

-If you look at it in that way but the thing is...we always had you as our secret ace inside our sleeves, you just didn't know the full story yet-. said One.

-So if there was something we couldn't handle, we couldn't solve or if we needed a pair of extra hands...we activate the Ghost operation.- continued Two. You turned your eyes to One and Two, without saying a word or a question, they totally had your attention, with only the expression of your face you could let someone know something.

-The Ghost operation consisted in giving you a small visit and explain the job, if you decided to help us, we had a facade, a window to put pause to your real life until the job ended.- explained Two.- It was One's great idea to visit you in Christmas Eve.

-When Two and I got to the hotel, you were already on your way to the party so we followed your cars but we quickly realised you were actually being kidnapped so we had no choice but to intervene against those bastards-. said the laughing man.- We saved your life and at the same time we brought you to One for this job, we left that terrible car crash in less than two minutes.

-When in fact, we were never really there-. said the man by his side.

-Then why did you handcuffed me?-. you asked, moving your hand.

-I know you, (Y/N), you can put up a fight-. said One; you raised one eyebrow and smirked at him.

-Your parents think it was a car malfunction, I got some facades to make them think you were sent to this important hospital, somewhere in D.C for a surgery-. said Four.- We know your parents are busy all the time so you don't have to worry about them.

You looked down again, this time at the floor, waiting for the growing ache of your chest to go away, she was right, who the hell knew when they were going to "visit" you, you were used to be neglected by your family but everytime it happens, you feel your heart breaking a little. It has always been that way with you.

-Why do need me?-. you asked.- To give you secret immunity? Passports? Permissions? You name it.

-You've said it. We might be dead but we need more efficiency to go in and go out without being noticed-. said one of the men.

-And you know people in the top secret circles of the new world, names and faces. I need that knowledge-. said Two.- We are on the same side after all.

-Two is collecting all the information that is available for this job, like she says, you two need to work together in order to recognize it.- said One.

You gazed at the covered face of Two, trying to recognize something through the fabric, you questioned yourself who she was, maybe she used to be part of the same dirty political groups that you were involved in or maybe was just a woman who knew too much.

In your world, people who know too much are more dangerous than people with a gun.

You took a quick look to the rest of the team for one more time, all this time, they had you in mind for a "job", One always had you in mind for idea, except for the fake death part. These bastards had everything prepared and set for you, the missing piece was your decision.

-What if I do it?-. you asked.

-You will be with us for the next...couple of days, we will give you clothes, equipment to work with, probably some personal defense lessons, just in case-. said One.- And we will make sure your parents stay safe if something goes wrong.

-Oh come on, you know I can defend myself-. you said with a groan.- But what if I don't do it?

-We will have to take you back to D.C, back to your good but boring rich life, back to that fake view of the world, while others get away with it behind your back. You really want to miss the chance of doing something right, without being judged?

You looked back at him in silence, he was right, you never thought about the way you wanted to change the world you were in, the impact that you wanted to create, apart from all the influence and fame you had, this was the big "one in a million". Although you had to worry about many things, many "But what about?" questions, the aftermath of everything, once it was over: you were back to the life and they remain in the dark, dead.

-Let me think about it, give me until tomorrow-. you murmured with a reassuring smile, that smile was more to yourself.

One clapped his hands and stood up from the chair, he turned around to the other five.

-See? I knew I could convince her-. he said and walked to the laughing man to give him a pat on the shoulder.- Three, get rid of the handcuffs and walk her to her berth.

Your head quickly turned to look at One, your eyes opened widely.

-Are we on a fucking boat?!-. you asked, your defensive tone of voice was back again.- you took me out of the fucking country without telling me first?

-Don't worry, sweetheart. It's disguised as an industrial ship and nobody cares about industrial ships.

You sighed and rolled your eyes.- Sometimes, you really step out of the line.

-One more thing, from now on you are one of us, it's temporary but you get it already. We all have our codenames here.

-Oh no-. you cringed.- You are gonna call me Seven?

-We prefer the term Ghost, it was more suitable-. he said, that's when the rest moved their hands to their masks.

One pointed to himself charmingly.- I'm One, obviously.

The woman with the envelope took her mask off first, the first thing you noticed was her tired eyes, long blonde hair fell down to her shoulders, she looked at you and nodded.- This is Two.

The laughing man offered you his hand to help you to stand up and take off the handcuffs, you held his hand and stood up but once you were up, his mask was off, he had black hair, a beard and his skin was slightly dark.- That's Three.

The other woman apart from Two, revealed herself to you, she had the same skin tone as Three, long hair, big eyes.- She is Four.

The man in the corner stood up and took off his mask, afroamerican, short hair, with a mustache, he didn't move from his spot unlike the others but he nodded at you.- Five.

And then, your eyes got to the quiet member of the group, the man took a few seconds more than the others to reveal himself, when he took his mask off, your parted lips let out a quiet but horrified gasp as you felt how your heart was skipping a beat inside your chest, you even felt the hairs of the back of your neck rising at the same time.

-And that's Six-. announced One.

Three got rid of the handcuffs that were retaining you, you looked away for a moment to nod at him, you breathed out and closed your eyes as you struggled to not feel a different type of heartbreak, this was more painful.

"It can't be him" you thought, your eyes looked up to the six of them when in fact, you were looking at him, at Six and how different he looked after all that time. His golden locks were no longer there, were replaced by an undercut, his green eyes were still shining as always, you noticed he had a scar near his temple; you groaned in pain and checked down to the handcuff marks you had, the other five thought they might have stepped a little over the line by handcuffing you when in reality, you were avoiding the memories that were coming back at you like constant punches. First, were little details of that day: the rain, a black umbrella, a brown jacket, Six smiling, he asking something to you before leaving you alone under the umbrella with a sad smile on his lips.

You shook your head to shake the thoughts off, Three rested a hand on your upper back and made you walk to the door of the room, you walked by his side as you looked at Six, he locked his eyes with yours, only to notice he was looking at you the same way he looked at you that day, well...he's always looked at you in that way, like if you were the only person in the room. You looked away to face down to the ground, your hands gripped your dress with all your strength to not break into tears.

The rest watched you go away from the room with Three so when once you were out of the hall on your way to the upper story of the ship, they looked at each other.

-A surgery, really?-. asked Two to One and Four, raising an eyebrow.

-Oh, you really think she is going to say yes to this if we tell her that we faked her death-. said Five.

-She is important for this mission, if we screw it up...if she finds out that everyone thinks that she died...

-She won't-. said Four.

-How can you be so sure?

-I still think she shouldn't be here-. declared Six, the rest of the group turned their heads to look at the blonde man.- We don't need her.

-What makes you say that?-. asked One.

-It's risky for someone like her to be here, if we are not careful, she can compromise us-. he said before leaving the room. As he walked through the empty hall, he rubbed his face with one hand, to wipe away the growing tears of his eyes; he let the memories take over his mind, he had the same memories of the rainy day as you, except that in his point of view, he had the memory of a necklace with a small circle made of blue sapphire around your neck, a smile, a hug and three words that formed a broken promise, a promise between you two.

"Come back, please..."
