So, every vote is really going to count. And according to the Director of Elections in Mesa County there are 800 cast ballots currently in need of signature verification:

These votes in particular won’t be counted in the recount at all if voters don’t cure by November 16th! Check your vote!!

The most hilarious thing here is that, even if they passed this TODAY, by the time the next presidential election rolls around a good chunk of the 18-20yos who made such a big difference this election would still be able to vote, because they would then be mostly 21+. Like. You'd literally get almost a net zero benefit from it. Just a repeat of this midterm. Really, you'd just piss 'em off even more and MORE of them would vote.

Tbf the voting age used to be higher. Then we lowered it after ppl pointed out (and protested a lot) that it’s kinda fucked up how if you’re 18 you’re old enough to go die after being drafted but not old enough to make decisions about who should run the country.

Young people need to vote in this election because the future of their ability to live in a democratic republic, to live on a planet that isn’t utterly destroyed by climate catastrophes, to have a right to bodily autonomy, to have a right to not have one group’s religious beliefs imposed on them by the state, to have a right not to go bankrupt with medical bills, to have a right not to fear their children will be killed in school by semiautomatic weapons, and to not spend their old age in poverty depends on it.

Much of the Republican Party wants to turn the U.S. into an an autocratic theocracy where there is one party rule. Many of them have admitted to this--this is NOT fearmongering. 

Get out and vote as if your future depends on it--because it does.

I'm not mourning the queen AT ALL. She directly benefited from the colonization of Yemen, India, Ireland, Rwanda, Uganda, the Maori, Scotland, Pakistan, the Indigenous of Australia and North and South America etc. A lot of you are real fucking quiet about how they were treated. Her and the rest of the monarchy weren't just some "pop icon" their actions had consequences and the world lives through it. Call me disrespectful all you want, the rest of the royalty can cry with all the money and artifacts they stole.

No ones' tax dollars are paying for deleting student loans.

Not like when your tax dollars went to pay Trump for golfing at his own golf course.
