Scarlett's mouth twitched into a small smile and she nodded. "Alright, I like that. Solid cover story." she said decidedly. At least they had that figured out before they showed up near curfew like this. She furrowed her brow at his offer and looked between his eyes and his hand. "Uumm, I've never done the whole teleporting thing..." she admitted, and slowly lifted her hand towards his. "It doesn't hurt or anything, right? No mystical side effects?" Scarlett figured he wouldn't be offering if there were, but she couldn't help but ask. She set her hand in his and tried to brace herself.

Quinten gave her a wry grin in return when she seemed to approve of his cover story. It was something that he didn't wish that he had to do but he certainly did have some experience doing it by this point. "I may have had some experience skirting the rules." He retorted giving her shoulder a bump, before offering her a shortcut and his hand. "Not going to hurt, I've heard you might be a little dizzy when we land- but that's it." He answered, closing his fingers around hers. He teleported them to right outside of the entrance to the cells and then walked them through. "And...now you're not late!"

"You're so very thoughtful. I'm sure they acknowledge and appreciate your sacrafice" Qhuinn giggled, welcoming both the sight of her beloved coming towards her and the feel of his arms at least encircling her petite frame. She returned his kiss with all of the love in her before indeed snuggling against his broad chest. As always, his closeness and scent made the stress of the day simply melt into nothingness as she let out a content little sigh.

"Oh! Really? What's the occassion?" Qhuinn asked, as she was suddenly swept into Quinten's strong arms. Loving the spontenaity, she simply curled into him once more for a long moment before replying. "Mmm a glass of wine first would actually be perfect. What's for din-din though?" She asked. Remus, understanding the familiar term, barked as if to answer her. Or to ask Quinten when he got to eat, most likely.

Quinten laughed softly as she teased him about letting the animals get to her first before they curled around each other. There was almost something magnetic about them when they were near each other- especially when they were alone. He was certainly glad that they had the place to themselves when they shared a deep kiss. He didn't need or want interruptions on an average day and this was most definitely not an average day.

"It's been a long day. I wanted to give us some time alone." He replied, thinking that was sneaky enough to not worry her but also not give away the secret too soon. He pressed a soft kiss to her forehead when she mentioned wine first- and then both Qhuinn and Remus commented on dinner. "Alright you two- I'll tell you what's for dinner. Cottage pie- with some of the meat reserved for the animals." He mentioned, finally letting her go. "Make yourself comfy on the couch, I'll bring in the wine and when you're ready I'll pull the cottage pie out of the oven where it's warming."

"Jesus, Quinten..that's fucked up." And again, Jason would not put it beyond thier new headmistress. She was still an enigma, in more bad ways than good, and yeah..maybe it was best to stop throwing ideas out there. The wolf exhaled, thankful for the blood bag offer and reached out to tap the other's elbow to express just that. "Thanks..I'm trying to have faith in the guy. Indy is scared shitless. But yeah, I'll definitely reach out." Ciaran had spoken good things about Atticus, so he had no reason not to trust him as well. Glancing up at the question, Shaw smiled the same way he always did when any mention of his girl was made. "Oh, awesome. She's actually goin' away for a month to deal with some personal business. I'm really gonna miss her." Then, it was as if he suddenly remembered the reason for their get-together. "..so, Qhuinn?"

He wasn't sure if what he was saying was anything new, or really all the surprising, but there was something that seemed to upset Jace on some level. There was still so much unknown about her. For the time being she seemed better, but she had still caused so much death and destruction here- and most importantly, she was still maintaining the Master and slave classes. Still, they had better things to talk about that didn't involve such unpleasant things- their guests were one things but he had to smile wide when he saw the response as he shifted the topic to the women in their lives. "Well, let me know if you ever want to pop in to see her. Happy to take you by for a visit." He said, knowing he hated it whenever Qhuinn was gone for a while. He took a deep breath and let it out when Jace prompted him about why they had originally met. "Yes, Qhuinn...so...her house has been destroyed in the craziness. I...want to ask her to move in with me."
