one thing you won't know until you experience it for yourself when you create art out of love is how it feels when people receive it with love. when you post a doodle and someone keeps it as their lockscreen, or when you write a story and someone tells you they were thinking about it all day, or when you post a poem and someone shares it with a touching caption. doesn't matter if it was objectively good or not. matters that someone spent time with it, that someone really, really liked it, and you made it. this kind of interaction, i think, it can really sustain you for weeks. it can sustain you through a lot of terrible things. its confirmation that you exist, and that (however briefly) your existence was appreciated by someone else through your art.
I'm rereading again all the Crave books but now I'm using bookmarks and notes. It's been exciting and I plan to do as much drawings as I can ✨
I love these moments from the first chapters with Macy and Jaxon with sad Grace. I want to cheer her but the adventure is just starting! 😱

Today, September 3, 2019, marks the 1st anniversary of a very special finale, of our most favorite show in the world.

It has been one year since we witnessed the ultimate culmination of one of the biggest shows in history. Our emotions were all over the place. On the first time we all watched it, we laughed, we cried, we screamed and jumped in utter joy. Many are happy to see these familiar faces we’ve all loved and adored for years. Many cry in joy to see their favorite ships become canon. Many have become so emotional, now that it is all over. But our memories of enjoying this show will last forever.
We still terribly miss Adventure Time to this day. In an age where new and exciting cartoons, shows, and movies are taking over the world today, we can’t help but think of these characters, the story, the music, the nostalgic memories and the impact it had on all of us. Adventure Time shaped a generation of young artists, animators, and content creators. It sparked an inspiration in all of us, on whatever we choose to be.
Everyone is growing up fast and moving on to the next big thing. But one thing is for sure: Adventure Time will always stay in our minds and hearts.

To commemorate the first anniversary of the series finale, all our artists for Come Along With Me: An Adventure Time Series Finale Zine will share their full pieces for the zine today. We will also officially reopen the online store to sell leftover copies of the zine + merch, and lastly, we will launch the PDF of the zine on Gumroad. We also have one more charity announcement. Check back in a few hours for the official posts!
