why did house never use his teleportation ability after this?? did the writers forget? seems like a huge plot hole
People who grew up with phones may wonder what people did to pass the time in bathrooms before they could idly scroll. Once upon a time there were books in bathrooms. There was an entire genre of book designed to be read exclusively while shitting. Always the same books, no matter what bathroom or whose house. They were as follows:
- An book of unusual facts, titled something like Uncle Al's Craptime Reader; about half of the facts are adjacent to being true
- At least one book by Dave Barry; in the last era of the bathroom book, replace this with a Dilbert collection
- Baseball almanacs
- A slim, ancient volume of uncertain origin, whose title promises "101 FUNNIEST ETHNIC JOKES (updated with the latest Polish jokes for '63)!"
What I know is that daylight savings wasn’t established until World War I. If it’s 3 P.M. now, that means in 1776, it would be 2 P.M. Riley, you’re a genius.

My dude, I might not even want my businesses to run like a business, the way businesses have been run lately.
do i know you...?
Important monday fact.
Pro-tip: You can lie to your disordered thoughts and urges.
“We should stop eating forever” Cool, we’ll start that tomorrow (grabs a bowl of cereal).
“We should run away and upset all our friends” Alright, just let me take a shower first.
“We should key that stranger’s car” Sure, but on our way home, we’ve still got that bus to catch.
You never have to do these things, but if procrastinating and kicking the can down the road causes you less distress than outright saying no, there’s no harm in that.
i think if i were a jedi i would make it my life mission to make yoda angry. i would give anything to hear his little goblin voice mutter the words “thin fucking ice, you are on” and click his little cane on the ground. i would do anything. kick him as im walking and be like “oh sorry didnt see you there.” go with him to the market and try to buy him for four credits and say “oh my bad i thought you were a head of cabbage.” raise all the chairs in the jedi temple just an inch. catch him while he’s sleeping and paint his little nails and then be like “odd that someone caught you slippin master yoda. wonder who could have done that.” leave crumbs in his seat in the jedi council. i mean i would do anything
almost got me right in my Both Eyes!
Maybe a spicy take but the combination of this much player movement + non guarenteed contracts + the very low minimum salary is concerning me for the PWHL. I know with trades and contracts everyone likes to go “it’s a pro league that’s what happens” but that happens in other pro leagues because they get paid the money to accommodate it meanwhile the players most affected by these things in the PWHL are making the salary of an entry level marketing assistant. I know there’s a lot more accommodations then there have been previously (good) but hearing tapani and cook and Jaques talk about their experience did not give me enough confidence to feel enough is being done
Geniune life fuel, never forget anyone on the internet can cause immense finicial ruin to multi billion dollar cooperation, don't give up
With the likelihood that Dominika Lásková’s injury is season ending, Montreal trades top six forward Tereza Vanišová for puck moving defender Amanda Boulier
Wish we had salary information it make trades make way more sense
being so fr when I say that transmisogyny has put feminism back like 50 years
what i thought we had distanced ourselves from was the reduction of women to vaginas and wombs and the ability to bear children. i thought we had progressed past ‘dresses are for women and pants are for men.’ i thought we progressed past the idea that someone is less of a woman if she does not adhere strictly to beauty standards. i thought we progressed past the idea that naturally being comfortable adhering to highly feminine standards is vulgar. but i (sarcastically) guess no one could have predicted that trans-exclusive feminism would be the downfall of all the progress we’ve made
“We’re in danger of losing what the entire second wave of feminism, what the entire second wave of women’s liberation was built on, and that was ‘Biology is not destiny’. ‘One is not born a woman,’ Simone de Beauvoir said, ‘one becomes one’. Now there’s some place where transsexual women and other women intersect. Biological determinism has been used for centuries as a weapon against women, in order to justify a second-class and oppressed status. How on Earth, then, are you going to pick up the weapon of biological determinism and use it to liberate yourself? It’s a reactionary tool.”
