Honestly, it breaks my heart the state of fandom these days. Almost ten years ago this site was bursting at the seams with all things Mad Max related thanks to Fury Road. Fan art. Fan fic. People showing off their vehicle mods and Fury Road cosplay. God, I loved how that movie made all the gearheads go nuts with creativity.

Now Furiosa is in theaters and there is...nothing. In fact, it's doing poor in theaters. I went to see it yesterday, a Saturday, and my theater wasn't even a fifth full.

It's a good movie. In fact, it's a gorgeous movie. THE VEHICLES! THOSE FREAKIN' VEHICLES!!! Miller has not lost a step. It truly is a saga and a spectacle in every sense of the word.

Yes, the real world is chaotic. But we still have art. We can still create. We can still have fun.

Create fan art.

Do cosplay.

Write fan fic.

Make mods.

Even if it isn't always a lovely day.
