Covered in sweat and aching, Dean and Y/N walked from the ruins of the old barn, machetes slung over their shoulders. Their steps synced as they left the crime scene, crimson dripping from their blades, splattered on their faces and across their muddy jeans.

Behind them, the heads of the fallen vampires swam in pools of monstrous blood and gasoline, their lifeless corpses piled haphazardly into a pile.

Dean paused just outside of the barn doors and flicked his lighter on his thigh, the rough denim rolling the flint and igniting the flame. Without looking back, he tossed the silver Zippo over his left shoulder and the trail of fuel caught instantly, setting the bodies and rotted wood ablaze.

Y/N hid an awed smile as they walked away, action heroes in the dark; saving the world, one blood-sucking nest at a time.

You looked over at Sam across the pool table, leaning a little on his cue, and you couldn’t help but bite your bottom lip. “Are you gonna go or just stare at the table all night?” you prompted, drawing what was clearly only a half-serious annoyed look.

“Will you just give me a minute?” he laughed. “I’m figuring out the angles! It’s a little hard to do mental geometry with you over there scoffing every 5 seconds!”

“Scoffing, huh?” You shook your head at him. “You know what?” You lined up a shot and knocked in two of your balls.

Sam’s jaw dropped open. “What?! Are you kidding me? It wasn’t your turn!” But he was laughing through his amazement at your gall.

You raised your eyebrows at him and leaned heavily on your cue, shrugging carelessly. “You were taking too long. And if I’m not mistaken, I just sunk two, so it’s my turn again!”

Sam shook his head and bit his bottom lip. “You’re a cheat,” he said. You grinned back at him.

HunT - Social Media AU - Coming Soon!

I’ve been struggling a bit with a writer’s block. So, to battle it, I decided to try something that I haven’t attempted before! 

HunT is a visual Sam x Reader story, told completely in pictures of IMs, text messages, emails and forum threads and is set in a slightly non-canonical version of the Supernatural universe. This is a slow burn Social Media AU story, with an eventual Sam x Reader; strangers to friends to lovers.

Summary: The hunting life is one ruled by old tomes, burner phones and long lists of personal contacts. But that’s about to change once your best friend, Charlie, develops an invite only online resource for hunters; HunT. You test it out by covering a case for a hunter down in Kansas who goes by the username S.W_Kansas_83, and as the months go by, you slowly go from online strangers, to friends as you find yourself falling for this handsome stranger on the internet. But, separated by distance and technology; can you ever be anything more? Especially since you’re hiding a big secret from Sam Winchester that threatens to ruin everything. 

The first intro part is coming next Saturday 13th June - 9 pm CET (3 pm EST).

You hear the rumble of the Impala outside while you’re making tea in the kitchen, and by the time you wrench the door open, the car’s already rounding the corner and vanishing out of sight.

From the moment Sam steps into your entryway, dragging his feet and rubbing a palm over tired eyes, you notice the difference. He’s got a two-week beard covering his jaw, and his eyes have dark circles under them. He greets you with a firm kiss, and you can’t help but tremble at the scrape of stubble on your skin.

The bagel line was long. My tapping foot threatened to open a sinkhole in the middle of Manhattan. My eyes roamed casually around the crowd, expertly avoiding others and impersonating those of a more aloof female who didn’t want to mindlessly gawk at her phone in front of him. Of course he was there. He was always there: on time, flawlessly dressed, and holding a folded newspaper like an adorable thirty-something grandpa.

Our coffee shop had two lines respectively. And we had wordless, contactless, and possibly fictional obligation to each other to never waver on our line choices. I always took the left. My job was to the left and the seconds that saved my commute were important to me.  He always took the right line.  Of course, I had no reasoning behind his decisions as I’d never actually spoken to him, but that didn’t stop me from speculating… wildly.
