I’m incredibly stuck on the idea of Vax deciding that days without sleep is ridiculous and just stealing Percy’s glasses so he can’t work and has to give up and go to bed.
What he didn’t plan for is Percy being Percy and therefore he still finds him in the workshop just really bent over the table, staring hard at something tiny and fiddly.
The headache is inevitable and Vax just thanks it because at least now Percy is in bed with him.

evil eyeliner yu wenzhou setting elaborate traps and getting increasingly aggravated when he keeps catching heroes who aren't hero huang shaotian. he's playing 4d chess with himself, trying to puzzle out if hero huang shaotian is doing it on purpose. maybe he's trying to escalate the situation, see how long it takes evil eyeliner yu wenzhou to turn himself into the heroes guild just to finally see him. (evil eyeliner yu wenzhou wouldn't really surrender himself of course, he's confident he could do it in a way that would let him escape. is that huang shaotian's plan? is this a test?)
or worse...is evil eyeliner yu wenzhou's fierce eyeliner losing its sharp edge? is he no longer holding huang shaotian's swift attention?
meanwhile hero huang shaotian is happily on his 3 weeks of vacation, playing video games and wondering if evil eyeliner yu wenzhou will miss him while he's not in the field. he's busy thinking up some new trash talk. a smart villain like evil eyeliner yu wenzhou deserves nothing but the best, after all.
Evil eyeliner ywz my beloved, he’s back!! I am picturing him with like seven assorted heroes in his traps who he refuses to free because Hst would get himself out of the traps, why can’t these guys? He is not impressed with the calibre of heroes he’s being sent and *no* he’s not just grumpy that hst is missing and hasn’t been around in a long time, shut up Jerry!
Hst peacefully jotting down another note for his trash talk speech he’s going to deliver to ywz once he’s back, unaware that he’s got like 17 emails from HQ telling him that ywz is holding his coworkers hostage (ywz is *not* holding them hostage, it’s not his fault they’re stuck). Ywz overthinking the relationship he’s developed with hst, I love it
hero zhang xinjie pretending like he can't get out of the trap because watching evil eyeliner yu wenzhou be pathetic is too much fun. mentally, he's taking notes because hero han wenqing loves getting all the latest gossip, even if he'll never ever admit to it.
and now he has blackmail material on both hero huang shaotian and evil eyeliner yu wenzhou. hero zhang xinjie is winning. and also the lights in the makeshift prison go off promptly at 10pm every night. this is best, most relaxing vacation he's has ever taken.
meanwhile evil eyeliner yu wenzhou continues to get more and more frustrated the more heroes he collects. where is hero huang shaotian? doesn't he know he's supposed to get caught in the trap so he escape and they can go to evil brunch together.
at once point he pretends to turn his back on hero zhang xinjie in an effort to prompt him to finally escape. yu wenzhou knows he can, and evil brunch with zhang xinjie is an acceptable alternative, though there will be no erotic tying to chairs because that special treatment is reserved for hero huang shaotian only. but hero zhang xinjie just looks pointedly at his watch, as if 1pm isn't an acceptable time for evil brunch.
pfft, and people call yu wenzhou evil! at least he understands that evil brunch can take place any time until 3pm.
Honestly hero Zhang Xinjie is having the time of his life watching evil eyeliner Yu Wenzhou mope around his lair like an incredibly sad, wet cat. He could just tell him that Huang Shaotian is on holiday, but he’s watched Yu Wenzhou stare sadly at the window that Zhang Xinjie knows for a fact Huang Shaotian broke the last time he was there, for 97 minutes, while periodically sighing, so he’s having a grand time.
Zhang Xinjie raising one incredibly judgemental eye brow when Yu Wenzhou attempts to invite him to evil brunch by leaving the tools needed for escape within reach, he’s measured the length of Zhang Xinjie’s limbs and *knows* he can reach them, which means he’s deliberately not escaping and turning down the brunch invitation.
Yu Wenzhou is *not* sulking about this, not at all, he just doesn’t understand why Zhang Xinjie won’t come to evil brunch at 1pm, it’s a perfectly acceptable time for brunch, and besides, even if it wasn’t, it’s *evil* brunch! That’s the point!
If he leaves the lights on past 11pm, then that’s his business and he is not internally celebrating the pissed off look that Zhang Xinjie spends the next day shooting at him.
Besides, when Huang Shaotian comes for evil brunch Yu Wenzhou gets to tie him up, both for evil and sexy purposes and then hand feed him, so maybe evil brunch with Zhang Xinjie wouldn’t have been as fun anyways.
