Zexal Month - The Lovers
Here we go with the shipping post! Let's make this easy with EVERYBODY LOVES YUMA! @zexalweek
Where is the key to indicate what each of the different colored and shaped lines mean? There isn't one! It is my ambiguous abstract graph system! So I'll explain each connection! Of course these are all just my silly interpretation and could be totally different in another iteration so don't take any of this too seriously.
Astral = This is divine love here. They have become one several times and will always be connected to each other.
Shark = They have an intense icy-hot relationship that fluctuates between intimate passion with each other and long periods of avoidance & distance. Despite that, a very strong relationship.
Kotori = A solid relationship built on trust and mutual respect. Kotori values Yuma's most distinct character traits and he sees a strength in her that nobody else does.
Tetsuo = I feel like this one is overlooked a lot but I think Tetsuo has a very strong respect and admiration for Yuma. While at the same time Yuma feels relaxed around Tetsuo because he has seen Yuma at his worst the most. Perhaps not a very sexual or romantic relationship but strong platonic love here at least.
Anna = Despite some conflicts and lots of miscommunication they have a hot friends with benefits relationship. Anna comes to town and has an intense night of adventures with him. And then leaves and doesn't really talk to him until she comes back around again whenever that may be.
Vector = A toxic relationship where neither person can quit the other. Everybody around knows they are awful for each other and yet they won't listen to any of that. They are hooked and addicted to each other in all the worst ways possible.
Alit = A very spicey relationship with high sexual tension. They are prone to party together and pull others like Kotori or Gilag in on their kinky fun!
III = A soft fluffy relationship with lots of romance and cuddling. Although it does have spikes of high intense passion. Although they get embarrassed about it and have trouble speaking directly about it.
Kaito = A relationship with a fair amount of conflict and unshared feelings. But when they are vulnerable with each other they really bond and connect with each other. Kaito enjoys pushing Yuma's buttons and limits.
Every body else = assume everybody else is hopelessly in love with Yuma but Yuma's harem is too large for them to get noticed by him.
It has been a very long time since I wrote a fanfic. But duke_kurai made a request of me! I posted both my first draft and a revision of it. You can read it on AO3!
Zexal Month - The Hierophant
Please forgive my low-level graphic design skills. This prompt is about putting characters in new clothes. Well in the Zexal manga at one point, Kotori and Cathy put on cute dresses. So I figured it be fun if we put Anna and Rio, who don't exist in the manga, in those outfits as some kind of weird alternate universe thing. I welcome anyone to do this better or redraw it. @zexalmonth

So this theme is supposed to talk about our favorite character. But again I feel like I have talked about Yuma and Vector so many times. It would be cool to talk about underappreciated main characters like Tron or Durbe. But I figured I wanted to do this like the Numbers post and instead look at the characters that are nobody's favorite character! So I am going to go through the minor characters in Zexal, note anything special about them and then make-up what happens to them after the series. Going to be another longer post! @zexalmonth

Zexal Month - The Magician
So today we are supposed to talk about our favorite Duel Monster or Number specifically. I feel like I always share that clip of Beyond The Hope’s Summoning so going to do something a little bit different this time. A lot of different Numbers get used in both the anime and manga. But the Numbers that always fascinated me are the ones released in the card game after both had ended. For a fanfic I have wanted to write for a long time would be a rewrite from a different point of view and a genre shift. One of the goals of that fanfic would be to all Numbers 1 through 100 get used in some way so I have spent a long time thinking about these 30 unused Numbers and how they would be used in the series. So this post is going to go through all 30 cards and I will explain who I think should use each one. Some are very obvious and self-explanatory but some others are very weird and out there. So hopefully this post is amusing and maybe educational. Be warned it will be very long! @zexalmonth
Zexal Month - The Fool
Simple introduction to start the month off. I feel like everybody knows me but I am VoicesOfChaos. I livestreamed Zexal as it aired towards the end of its run. Then livestreamed all of Arc-V. I write a lot of fanfictions. I watch Go Rush every week. I love (at least loved) the card game since the beginning. But now a days I obsessively play Duel Links and don’t really touch the TCG anymore. I have ran Yugioh panels at conventions for the past decade across the USA Midwest. Also started running the Yugioh cosplay photoshoot at Anime Central. Finally I’ll end this post with my Zexal cosplay. But I have also cosplayed Dark Signer Jack Atlas and the main protagonist Yugioh Rush Dawn Of The Battle Royale.

I was wondering how common it is for polyam relationships to be romantically closed but sexually open? That's the current dynamic of my closed triad and while everyone is content with the dynamic (as long as we're safe obviously) I was wondering how common it was
By strict definitions that is often not considered polyamory and is instead swinging. Course labels can vague and there is lots of grey space between so not here to police your wording but other people probably would.
As for how common? It is very common couples that have been monogamous together for a long time and are first opening up their relationship. They certainly make up the most of what the media covers and presents. But hard to say how that compares to the whole when other forms of polyamory are represented so much less and live in the shadows/closet.
i think they're saying that the relationship is romantically closed between the 3 members of their triad but they are open to having sex with people outside of said triad so if i understand well it's definitely poly between the 3 of them but they also swing with other people outside of the triad (which may count as another form of polyamory or not, i'm not gonna judge that)
Wow! I totally misread this! I guess I shouldn’t answer asks when so hungry and tired. It is far more common to have a fully closed triad. And then an open triad does happen a good amount. But as for this half-closed triad, I don’t want to say I have never heard of it because I feel like there are some distant stories but yeah I would say that is pretty rare. But if it works for everybody then I wish you luck with it.
Ended up randomly reading through AO3 inbox. I received far more comments than I ever realized. So many more people enjoyed my stories than I remembered. It felt really nice to see that. I miss writing. Certain people made feel really discouraged to write and killed my creativity. But maybe I'll be able to write again and make people smile.
