i just went though and unfollowed a lot of inactive blogs, and since my dash is dead i suppose i should go ahead and promo myself after so long jdbhg. please like/reblog if you’re interested in rp’ing with a meruem from hunter x hunter, a tiny bug with an 8 pack that could totally rip you in half, but also gets his ass kicked in board games by his even tinier gf. written by nia.
Harsh stares were commonplace for Haga to receive on the street, even now after all the time that had passed since his defeat on Duelist Kingdom. While his name may have been forgotten, his face certainly wasn’t. He was still the one that had scammed so many unsuspecting duelists out of rare cards and favors that stepped on the line of cheating.
To the public he was no longer Insector Haga, the National Champion, and that was a fact he’d been forced to remember. Some time had passed since he had last fell low enough to rip some kid off for a card he didn’t really need, but still wanted anyway. Most of his tricks hadn’t resulted in retaliation like some had, and he’d nearly forgotten what exactly he’d done to deserve any of that retaliation until a fist had careened into the side of his face.
Needless to say his whole body was aching. The taste of blood coated in the inside of his mouth and likely had stained his lips an odd, unflattering red. Not to mention his glasses had broken and his duel monster cards were scattered about in some alleyway he’d been dragged into, among other injuries he’d sustained not just to his pride.
Like hell he was going to walk out onto the sidewalk looking like this, stumbling about without his glasses and a possibly broken rib or two. It didn’t help that his phone had fallen out of his pocket sometime in the middle of whatever the hell had just happened... Stupid thugs.
With no way to dial Ryuzaki for some assistance, Haga was left slumped against the alley wall, angry.
Maybe someone would stumble across his and take enough pity to let him use their phone or something.

“ Well, I don’t know how else to tell you, Haga. I’m not really comfortable sharing the story right now. ” He explained again, keeping his voice level, how Atem would say it if he were still here.
It was an innocent observation made by the duelist, but he unfortunately opened up a waterfall of pent up emotions Yugi still desperately tried to cover up. How long has it been since the tomb was destroyed? A month? Two? Felt like yesterday, now that Haga brought the ancient item up again.
“ I-I still put together puzzles, though. It’s not like I moved on from them or something. Maybe we should put one together one time. Maybe one of those 3D puzzles? ”
“Hmph,” he scoffed and wrinkled his nose, both at the idea that he wasn’t going to receive any answers and the fact Yugi had actually suggested they actually put together a puzzle together sometime. What did he think they were -- friends?
Hah!
“If you don’t want to tell me, fine, but don’t go and start suggesting that we can suddenly hold hands and skip off into the sunset. I may not hate you like I used to, but I still don’t like you.”
i like how even tho haga and ryu are 17 in dsod they still wear exactly the same thing they didn’t get a wardrobe update at all.
