My dad started using them as they’re defined at work, Sie for people he respects, du for those he doesn’t. He’s a salesman and sees different clients on sites a lot so he sometimes ended up siezing the builder bc he was a good person and duzing the owner (aka his client) bc he was a jerk. Didn’t care if he lost clients, he says it felt too good
