ALTERNATE SCENE ▬ What if, instead of presenting Nick Fury with a box of glass eyes, Phil Coulson presented him with the file of one Clinton Francis Barton? I couldn’t let go of this idea, so I had to make it in gif form.

I’ve already reblogged this, but I had to had that I now want fic where Goose is the final authority on who Fury recruits into SHIELD.  I have a feeling Hydra never would have gained all that much of a foothold if the Flerken was making the decisions.

Jeremy Renner by Randall Slavin (2020)

Eartha Kitt performs the song Santa Baby in the 20th Century Fox musical comedy New Faces in 1954. The movie was adapted from the Broadway revue New Faces of 1952, which Kitt starred in but did not perform this song, instead originating the number as a radio single in 1953 with Henri René and His Orchestra. Santa Baby became the best-selling Christmas song of 1953 in the United States, also topping the charts in Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, and Switzerland. Following its tremendous success as a single, the tune was added to the screen version of New Faces the following year. The song has been covered countless times (with arguably less effective results) by numerous recording artists in the years since, but the original, as interpreted by Eartha, remains a holiday classic. Remembering the legendary Eartha Kitt… Born on January 17th, 1927 in North or St. Matthews, South Carolina Died on December 25th, 2008 (age 81) in Weston, Connecticut
