Montréal.
If you’ve never taken the bus as your primary mode of transportation you should know that a ten minute drive is like a one hour bus ride.
And sometimes something just isn’t near a bus stop so you’ve gotta take the closest one to it and walk for 20 minutes.
Just something to keep in mind, I guess. Especially if you live in a big sprawling metropolis. There’s people all around you taking five times as long to get anywhere because they can’t or won’t drive for whatever reason.
This post isn’t purely to complain. I like taking the bus way more than I like driving. It’s way way cheaper and less stressful for me. But I think a lot of people don’t realize how inaccessible so many things are to those without a car. I can’t just pop over to Costco in the evening. I need four hours in a row completely free to do that. If you want to meet up at a bar on the other side of town in 30 minutes I can’t do that unless you’re driving. I think a lot of folks just don’t know this.
Fascinating to me how many people in the notes are calling this a purely American problem when I’ve got an equal number of Europeans sharing my pain. Not everywhere is Amsterdam or New York.

‘this actor is ugly’ good. more actors should be ugly and we should oppress conventionally attractive actors.
pink apples! 🌸💓🌷🎀
When I say “free water, free food, free shelter, free healthcare, free education for everyone” in that “everyone” I even include the people I hate. Too many people get surprised at the idea that I do wish for the people I hate to have better lives.
I'm getting the urge to start a new blog or just leave entirely. I'm so tired of doing readings for people who refuse to pay me then act like assholes and it makes me not want to do readings for people at all. The joy I get from sharing past lives is trampled by the sheer amount of bullshit from people expecting shit for free. I don't give a shit if they see this because they have truly hurt me. This is something that I love and I'm so passionate about but after constant messaging between us I give up. There's no way to get back the time and energy they stole from me so I'm taking a break. I don't know how long I'll be gone and I'll likely run on a queue for a while. But I'm done.

A Perfect Shot
It took me so long to get that it was literally a “bullseye”
if you didn’t have a valentine today, it’s not too late. i am your valentine now. please accept this humble offering
mandarin clementine tangerine whoever named the citrus family did an amazing job
reverse ‘i knew about it before it was cool’. i refuse to consume it until it is borderline irrelevant.
pros of doing this:
-all the good, classic fanfics have been neatly collated for you on various rec lists by now and you can just go at it like a wild hog with a box of chocolates
-even better, most longfic is either done or went on hiatus enough years back that you aren't gonna get your hopes up
-no more fandom drama, everyone either grew up or left
-the remaining die-hard weirdos are happy to see a new face around the old place
-it's never too late for a fandom revival
-did i mention the fanfic
cons of doing this:
-absolutely none whatsoever
You walk into a fandom confident that finally you can enjoy it's wonderful media. It was created over a decade ago, it should be abandoned.
There is a little placard over the entrance.
'Danny Phantom'
The Danny Phantom fandom should be very, very dead by now but somehow, after nearly 15 years it’s still alive and kicking. It’s remarkably on brand.
Crazy to think that this is all Ronald Reagan’s fault
I dont care what you're referring to. You are right.
hey now, that's not fair. some things are Margaret Thatcher's fault.
i think that we as a society need to wear ribbons in our hair more often
