why i choose my username: well the first part is Art essentially, maton (i’m refering to part of an automaton, or something like a ‘robot’) and Nacht is German for Night. So basically if you put it together, I’m an art producing robot who only does things in the night lol

Hi guys, we have finally reached 550 followers! I just wanted to thank all of you who have stayed and took the time to look over my art. It means a lot to me that we are able to reach this far, heck I actually never thought I could! Over these hard few months, I have been trying to find a reason to draw, It was difficult to get back into it, at least bi-weekly again or more. But, a handful of people have approached me wondering if I need some sort of comfort, or to help me with finding motivation. I am not going to name any because they know who they are, but I would just like to thank these people so much for all the time they have taken out of their busy lives just to make sure I was okay. And today, I present to you my Meet the Artist work.

Hello everyone!
The first time we posted this, the quality was very low and it was hard to make out the details of the book. This time, hopefully it’s easier to watch!
Thank you for all your submissions and patience! The final product of everyone’s hard work arrived, so we’ve taken this video of the book to show it off, along with a lovely hand-made high-quality talking plushie of Saeyoung, made by @mysticplush.
Anyone who sent in a submission before the deadline was included in this book. As you watch the video, look out for your tumblr url or name at the end of your translated letter or piece of art! Thank you all for such amazing submissions, we have watched you all work so hard for the past few months, and the cumulation of everyone’s effort is beautiful! Now it will be mailed to Cheritz staff for them to enjoy and hold!

Well, I finally had watched Yuri on Ice, giving it a third chance before I was going to give it up and then, it clicked, this is a beautiful series. Don’t worry, this is only my first YOI piece but that doesn’t mean I will be leaving the Mystic messenger fandom any time soon OuO
This is the final polished piece I have created for the @thankyoucheritz event. I would like to thank Cheritz a lot for making this otome game, it is a huge success. Especially when I was just kicked out of my own fandom because the fandom was dying, I was sort of lost and didn’t really know where to go after that. This fandom encouraged me to draw a lot more and it further developed my skills in the world of digital art. Not only that, but also, it helped me further understand of different kinds of characters and their own stories as well as being mindful that nobody has it worse or better in life, stuff just happens and we can’t stop it, but we can change the future instead of looking back to the past. But more importantly, Mystic Messenger had been around during one of my most devastating points in my life, it was the point in my life where I thought nothing was really going to help at all, but playing this game and discovering characters, despite being make belief, made me feel at ease. It made me feel as if what was happening truly was not a battle I was fighting alone. I could relate to how these characters felt and that’s what made me feel better about my situation. I know this message is not as important compared to how much work I put into the drawing, however, I felt that there is nothing more important than words to go with it and to explain just one fan’s experience.
