autistic trans man and physically disabled trans woman need help getting essentials

i lost my job two months ago but luckily i’m about to start a new job on Monday. unfortunately i have to wait 4 more weeks since i get paid biweekly to get my first paycheck

we were just only barely able to pay rent with my girlfriends SSI so we’re struggling. i had to miss my last two testosterone doses and i feel horrible. we’ve been eating as little as possible to try to get by but it hasnt been enough

please boost if you see this, i really need to be able to get groceries and our prescriptions so i can be able to start work to support us

my experience as a trans woman has been one of a narrowing community. realizing that the "queer" community doesn't really support or include you. realizing the "trans" community doesn't really support or include you. realizing that, other than a few outliers, the only "community" i can trust with any amount of regularity is other problematic trans girls with weird kinks, the ones who have borne the full brunt of transmisogyny. Isn't it fucking awful? The only vague sense of community I have is with other girls who know, who have been shown time and again that they're not welcome anywhere else. the fucking island of misfit toys.

It feels harrowing to admit but every queer person I meet that isn't a trans fem (and many who are!!) has this like. Invisible line. That I will say or do something that crosses it. And that's it. I'm done. I'm out of their life. No explanation. No second chances. Nothing. And I'd be lucky to get a warning. Or even being told it's happened and I didn't get silently ghosted.

And it feels like nobody else in the queer community except other trans fems will even acknowledge it. Not even admit that it happens! Not even that they did it. But that our fears are valid.

And every time a queer friend, TME or otherwise, stops talking to me out of nowhere there's this fear that that was it. The line is a distant memory and I'll never see them again. No matter how close we were. No matter how much they liked me at one point. Whether I was family or close to it.

Just.

Every time I advocate for voting people are like "no you shouldn't vote! Read this literature, it'll totally change the way you view voting!" And every single time it's the same fucking "you shouldn't vote because both parties are exactly the same so it won't make a difference who wins" bullshit wrapped up in some fancy language

It opens with the acknowledgement that for the most vulnerable people, even a tiny degree of harm reduction can mean life or death and then continues to advocate for not participating in that harm reduction lest you "participate in your own oppression". Pardon me for not finding "vulnerable people should die for my ideology" very convincing.
