Merlin simply refuses to die. It’s been that way since he was living in Ealdor with his mother, and it was always easy to say he was lucky, or that his magic protected him. He never thought much of it. Years after moving to Camelot, he met The Cailleach, and the Dorocha nearly claimed him as their own. Subsequently, Merlin began having trouble sleeping. He was finding it hard to ignore the shadowy imprint of him that walked along the other side of the veil. Everything, after all, has a price. Even luck.

this show might make us happy, might make us cry, and it even might make us angry, but, at the end of the day, it brings us all together. and that’s the beauty of it, right? despite the end of a decade, we all continue to tell their story. a story of a love so profound, of a loss so gut wrenching, of a friendship so endearing that we can’t help but bring in our hearts to carry it with us in everything we do.
