This blog has been dead for months but I will never ever pass off an opportunity to ramble. I cannot and will not guarantee six paragraphs tho. First off EX Wives is the theme song because of course it is. They would have to shorten it way down but I'm imagining short little moments of each queen and then at the end full color blocking next to each other like in the Teen Titans cartoon. Like this:
Also, I'm thinking it would be one of those shows where it's like, normal group of teen girls (because all I can think of is Totally Spies) going to school together by day and by night a pop group made up of the reincarnated wives of Henry VIII. Not even secret identities necessarily, but also they all have regular school and just happen to also be pop stars because by cartoon logic you can do that. Think Kim Possible.
Their main antagonist is big tycoon music label owner Henry who is trying to shut down the group and like, once a season manages to convince one of them to sign up solo or join another group or something but they always get the person back with the power of friendship and music obviously. There’s also a series of smaller antagonists such as: Thomas Cromwell, Henry Mannox, Francis Deherem, Thomas Culpeper, Edward and Thomas Seymour (because fuck those guys but also gasp Jane’s brothers are trying to beat her in the big competition? Plot twist)
Also because I’ve been watching too much shonen anime and also Glee I’m imagining like, musical tournament arcs? Like battle of the bands and stuff.
Not me getting back into my six obsession going back and reading my own fanfics lol

Your post about the kids coming back-who's the other newborn? I'm assuming Mary's the teen, Elizabeth's the toddler, and Henry and Edward are babies-but you said three newborns. Who's the extra kid?
I literally haven’t touched tumblr in months but the answer is Mary Seymour, Catherine Parr’s daughter who she died a few days after the birth of due to childbirth fever (aka we don’t have antibiotics and you just gave birth Uh oh)

Hey so.... I think that I may stop writing six fic soon. I’m going to finish up Staub und Wind and then that’ll be it. I’ve written over 70 fics for Six, some of which are several chapters long, and while I love this musical, there’s only so much I can write for one musical. I may come back, but I’m gonna start writing more for other shows on this blog, like Alice by Heart, Hadestown, Heather’s, and WATT, along with things that aren’t musicals, like Umbrella Academy, and She-Ra. I hope that no one is made angry or sad by this, because I promise I’m not leaving the fandom forever, I just can’t keep wringing my brain for more ideas for a fandom that I’ve written, again, 70+ fics for.
Thank you for all your love and support. Also yes I’m keeping this username because the idea of having to update my master post of 70+ fics because I changed my user name makes me want to bash my head into a wall.

Okay but I see these anons talking about the csa thing and I just wanted to say like for me, I never scream in my sleep or anything. I'm just constantly waking up in the middle of the night silently and hating any dreams I have and it's like a cycle of wake up sleep wake up sleep. Like yeah I'm sure some people wake up sleeping but there's stuff like this too But sometimes I feel bad if I even consider going against what most people make/write idk? (Hope this is okay to send)

As a csa survivor, it really annoys me how most people only portray Kitty's trauma in one way, with nightmares, loud panicked screaming and flinching. Sometimes i wish the queendom would show the harsh angry side of trauma. Like when someone touches you unexpectedly and you refuse to get taken advantage of again so you hit them and start screaming at them angrily. Idk i think it would be nice to see other sides of trauma explored, not just the soft scared parts. Sorry if this got kinda ranty haha
It’s totally fine! Feel free to rant to me all you want. Like I said, I personally have never experienced anything like this so it’s valuable to really listen to someone who has experienced it. Thank you for feeling comfortable enough to tell me about these experiences.

people shoudn't be that mad over the historical acracy of six the musical as the consept is realy out there and i think its more of a commentary on about how the storys of woman in the past and now aren't told or they are through the lens of men and the six wives just happend to be a good subject on that
I am with you except on the account that even Lucy and Toby themselves admit regretting which is that I get really weirded out by how the musical really dumbs down Anne Boleyn. Like if we’re gonna be breaking down male perceptions, I think continuing to portray Anne Boleyn as a carefree seductress who cared nothing for politics is weird. Otherwise like, I think stretching or exaggerating truths is fine. Like I’ve said before, it was 500 years ago and none of them are alive to care about accuracy.

80% of the queendom doesn't understand how csa and grooming works and do a poor job of portraying Kitty's abuse.
You’re 10000% right and honestly, as someone who has absolutely no experience with CSA or grooming, the amount of research I had to do to even kind of portray it correctly and even then I probably didn’t do it justice is immense. If you’re gonna be portraying a sensitive subject you always have to do research to make your portrayal respectful, let alone accurate.
