Love how Cdramas come out with such cool looking posters adding such cool background effects behind the leads of the shows.

But this show the first few eps were a bit to not my liking, Orchid (Xiao Lan Hua) was and felt so annoying and childish she wasnt as grownup like than the other type of wuxia female leads, The Male lead he has that bad boy vibe and look but not as engaging than some other male leads that I seen. Dylan does a good job acting over all but something about this wuxia just didnt really catch me like some other good ones that i have seen before this show.

The chem seems to work when they are stuck together more and doesnt get to annoying bc DongFang QingCang has that irrate look when hes with her but grows to feel for her which he ends up loosing his hellfire over which is kinda lame bc the CGI when he uses it looks so cool. From watching the BTS and shorts that gotten posted its obvious there on and off chem is fun which seems to work in a story thats so dark and Dylan has to act tough but seems caring.

Waiting for the last few remaining eps to air, want to see how Orchid/ Xiao Lan Hua transforms into the Goddess of Xilan and why she had been dormant till the towards the end. It looks like there maybe a sad ending or hope a happy ending where she and DFQC will be happy together ruling the Moon tribe.

Shang Que is a cute kind warrior and DGQC attendant, really like how the ML have a 2nd in wuxia dramas even if they dont stand out they still have a role to play whether its to die eventually for their Lords or to protect at any cost. He really is loyal but also doesnt go by the same rules of love as his master, he can love who he wants from what can be seen.

Feel bad for God of War Chang Heng, the love rival and friend to Orchid had to endure the mortal trial only to not have Orchid like he wanted, he truely loves her but shes been with DFQC to long that what she feels for him is now gone. He is a good looking God though and someone else seems to be in love with him but he cant seem to move past wanting to help/save Orchid. He really seem to be a match to fight DFQC.

Will probably do a rewatch at some point unless youtube points it out on my feed to see if things change. But this is so far what I think of the show.

THIS WAS A BAD IDEA.

In fact, this was a terrible idea.

Jisung didn’t seem to think too much of it, but you felt completely out-of-place among the crowd of sweaty males. It wasn’t like you were left in the dark about your best friend’s hobbies, but you didn’t expect to see him beating up a bulkier man in a dingy, low-light warehouse.

It was hard to wrap your head around the shocking realization that Park Jisung was a good fighter. He was soft-spoken and gentle most of the time, so seeing your best friend punching another man with all his might was throwing you off. Jisung didn’t look like much compared to the other man, but he was swift enough to pin the man down and twist his arm at a dangerous angle behind his back.

“Alright, ‘Sung,” someone called when it was clear Jisung’s opponent wasn’t getting up. “I think it’s safe to say he tapped out.”

Another scoffed in response. “Did he say that, Jaemin?”

“He’s practically gone limp, Chenle. Just call it already,” Jaemin responded flatly.
