As usual, William had to take time off work when his heat was coming. He was tall, had broad shoulders, and just in general quite manly look, so when he was growing up, it was expected that he will be an alpha male. What a surprise that was when William got his first heat, and it turned out he’s an omega. Since then, his life was hell.

He was ashamed of being an omega, and he disliked the way alphas would look at him when they could smell his heat was close. He almost felt like a prey. So William would always hide away at home when this time came, and suffer because he could’t get satisfied. He had partners before, but they would always be betas, because they were less predatory. But this was not nearly enough. William never was with a true alpha male.

That day, William left work early, and before going home he was out shopping. He needed water and some supplies, so that he could stay locked at home for several days, until his heat was over.

Mike smiled, nodding. “Bubbles it is..” he hummed, kissing his lips softly. “Hm, sure, babe.”

after that he walked to the bathroom, and fixed them both a warm bath, with williams favorite bubbles. he took off his clothes and got in, closing his eyes while he waited to the omega.

William came into the bathroom in just his underwear, and put his clothes into the laundry basket. He smiled at the alpha that waited for him in the tub already. He undressed completely and sank into the water with him. “Mmmm, so nice…” he sighed contently, leaning his back against Mike’s chest. 

“I was waiting for this all day… I love our evenings together.” he murmured, reaching up to ruffle Mike’s hair. 

Mike smiled when his omega walked in, and sat up, making a place for the other male to sink in between his legs. once they were comfortable he hugged him from behind, resting his chin in his shoulder. “I love our evenings together too. And I love you so so much.” He whispered, leaning into his touch. 

“did Violet fell asleep easily?” he asked, closing his eyes. “because i know i can.”

“Yeah, she was so tired after playing all day. She nearly fell asleep during feeding and she was really cranky when I was changing her clothes…” William chuckled. “She just wanted for me to leave her alone and let her sleep.”

He glanced over his shoulder at Mike and kissed his forehead. “You’re sleepy too? Aw, then let’s bathe quickly and get you to bed.” the omega smiled, taking the soap and a sponge, and starting to gently wash one of Mike’s legs that was sticking out of the water. 

Mike laughed a bit, shacking his head. “sounds like she was very tierd then. we should do it more to make her fall asleep.” He joked, humming at the kiss Wiiliam gave him. 

“Oh, im all for cuddling on the bed with you.” He said, hugging his waist tighter and nuzzling his neck. “do we need to wake up early tomorrow?” He asked, raising his leg out of the water for william to wash.

“No, we can sleep in tomorrow. I don’t have therapy tomorrow so… unless you have to start work early, we can be a bit lazy.” William smiled, scrubbing Mike’s leg clean, then starting with the other one. “Any specific plans for tomorrow then? I was thinking about working in the garden a bit… we bought this house when I was already far into pregnancy, and then Violet came… I never had the energy or time to sort out the garden, plant the flowers that I want… maybe I can plan an arrange little playground for Violet too, for when she’s older.” William hummed thoughtfully. He then turned around in the bath, and started scrubbing Mike’s chest with the sponge. 

Mike hummed, letting William scrub his skin as he wants. laying his head back and closing his eyes as he listened to the omega speak. “I dont have to start early tomorrow.. I can start whenever i want.” He mumbled, smirking when he heard the water swish as william turned to face him, craking one eye open. 

“I always wanted to build a play house from scratch. maybe it can be our project.” He said, reaching to rub william’s arm mindlessly.

“Ohh yes, that is such a good idea. Well Violet is still to small for that, but we can start building and next year it will be perfect for her.” William agreed, washing over Mike’s chest and stomach. It was really just an excuse to touch his nice muscles. “I also want to make a small sandbox for her.” he hummed, thinking about this project as he admired Mike’s body as he covered it with the soap.

“So… it seems we know what we will do tomorrow.” William grinned then. “And for now… do you want me to wash your hair too?” 

Mike smiled, enjoying william touching his up. He could imagine their back yard with the little house, and the play box. Maybe later he will build a swing, oh it will be amazing.

"I will make sure to build the perfect things for her." he said, smiling softly at him. "no, no. I dont need to wash my hair today. Let me wash you now." he said, grabbing the sponge from his hands and rubbing it on his shoulder gently.

“I know, sweety. But you have to be brave, alright?” William knelt down next to his five-year-old, to be on his son’s eye level. “Daddy got better job here, so we had to move. We talked about this. You will soon meet new friends, I promise.”

As if being a single parent wasn’t hard enough, now their lives were flipped upside down, as they moved to the city. It was a completely new place, and William knew it will be stressful for his shy, delicate son, but it had to be done. He had better job now, and he would be able to better support their little, broken family.

“Let’s meet your new teacher, I bet she will be nice.” he reassured the boy, and kissed his cheek before he stood up, and they slowly walked, hand by hand, towards the new kindergarten that James Spears was going to attend since now.

Shay rubbed the sunscreen to his back gently, massaging it while he talked. “yeah, okay. that sounds good.” she placed the bottle asaid, and slowly lowered herself into the cool water. “hmm.. it feels so good, the water is cold.” She hummed, leaning backwards to wet her hair. 

“just a lazy day today. I had alot of fun here.” she said, looking up at the sky.

‘Yeah, it was fun to be on vacation and just do nothing…” William sighed contently, leaning against the edge of the pool. “I needed that. Although… I have to admit I miss home. And James, of course. I can’t wait, he will be so happy that we are getting married. He already loves you so much, and now you will be his mom.” he hummed, looking over at Shay.

“What do you think about it…? Getting married not only to me but also committing to James?” he asked. Obviously Shay knew what she was getting into, yet he still wanted to ask if she’s sure. 

shay hummed, smiling softly. “you silly man. Im so excited to ‘committing’ to James. It feels like the moment he started calling me Mom, I was his mom. I cant imagine my life without him in it, and you.” She said, stroking his cheek with a wet hand. 

“And when we get back.. Id like us to look into the process of me adopting him, to really be his mom.” She said, a big bright smile on her lips as she talked about this,  obviosly cant keep her excitment in.

William smiled, then pushed himself off the edge of the pool and swam through the water to join Shay. He wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her close for a kiss. He was very happy to hear that Shay wanted to fully become part of the family. “I’m sure James will be overjoyed. He loves you so much… finally he will have a mom.” he hummed, nuzzling their noses together. 

“I can’t wait to tell him the good news.” William could already imagine the boy’s happiness when he hears that. 

shay wrapped her arms around his neck when he pulled her in for a kiss, kissing him through a smile. She giggled, closing her eyes happily. “Yeah, I know he will, I am super happy too.” She stroked his cheek, kissing his nose. 

“I just want to go home now, to tell him as fast as possible.” She laughed, leaning back to float on the water.

“Tomorrow we will tell him.” William reassured, giving Shay a small kiss before she managed to float away in the pool. He himself too then floated for a bit, then finally did some proper swimming as well, to stretch his muscles, and feel a bit refreshed.

They spent the time in the pool until dinner, and when William felt his stomach growling, he suggested going to the town to eat in some place nice, and then go shopping for souvenirs. Hangover was gone already, so he felt more energized to go and be up and about. 

After awhile in the water, Shay decided to move to the chairs to catch some sun, relaxing with her head back and sunglasses on, only moving to turn on her stomach.

She stretched when william began talking about going to eat, only now realizing that she is hungry. "sounds like a great plan." She said, getting up and stretching some more, waiting for william to get out of the water.

her new book is pushing a narrative and hatred that is going to get people killed. transmisogynists praise her for sticking up for womens rights all the while she knows FULL WELL trans women are killed. are dying. are being abused and oppressed.

you cant fight hate with love here, you cant buy the game and then go support trans creators as though its gonna undo the fact that you are PAYING FOR SOMETHING THAT SHE HAS THE LEGAL RIGHTS TO.

why are people so fucking desperate to hold onto it? ive read the fucking books. they're not good enough to dismiss the transmisogyny, antisemitism, racism and other assorted fucking bigotry in the stories. theyre not good enough and nothing will EVER be good enough for you fucking idiots to justify supporting someone who wants to endanger trans women. who writes jewish people as money hungry nonhumans. who writes any and all non white characters as 2 dimensional support characters.

William’s heart was beating so hard and loud that for a moment he couldn’t hear anything else but the pulse in his ears. They were in Tuscany, on a trip for their first anniversary… there won’t be a more perfect moment to do that.

“Shay… I almost can’t believe that it’s been a whole year that we’re together. But from the moment I met you I knew you’re special, and amazing, and that I wanted you to become part of my life. And you did. We are now living together, James loves you and calls you ‘mom’… I think… there is only one more thing that I can do now.”

He swallowed, letting go of her hands and reaching into the pocket of his pants. He slowly lowered himself down onto one knee, and opened the little box that containted the engagement ring. “S-Shay…. will you marry me?”

Shay giggled, humming softly. “yeah, we better get up..” she said, sitting up slowly, groaning as the room span. “shit.. No way in hell im drinking beer. If i smell alcohol I will barf.” she whispered, closing her eyes and rubbing her temples. “what we need is.. A fat, warm breakfast…” she mumbled, reaching for the phone to order room service.

“You’re so gross.” William laughed and threw a pillow at Shay. “Yeah, breakfast sounds so good… order… sausages… and scrambled eggs… and toasts… and bacon…” he hummed, suddenly feeling his stomach growl. “And big pot of coffee. After that we should be fine. More or less.”

Shay laughed as the pillow hit her, throwing it back at him. “okay okay, I will..” she said, listing off everything william said to the room service on the phone, thanking them before hanging up. “alright baby.. Im going to brush my teeth.” she said, smiling as she stood up slowly and headed to the bathroom.

“Aahh me too, because I want to kiss you, and I imagine it would be terrible now.” William chuckled, rolling off the bed. He followed Shay to the bathroom, his pyjama pants sliding off a bit, a flash of his bare ass showing. They both stood in front of the mirror and brushed their teeth. “So hey… if we cure our hangover, we are still going to the pool today, right?”

“aw babe I want to kiss you too.” she smiled, grabbing a stray shirt on their way and pulling it on. Apparently it was William’s so it hang from her shoulder as she button it up. “of course! It was our last day planning.” she said, after spitting out the paste and moving to wash her face.

“Good…. swimming does sound nice even while hangover.” William hummed, brushing his teeth thoroughly, then spitting the paste out as well. “And we need to remember about buying souvenirs. It’s kind of a shame that that our vacation is close to be over, but I actually can’t wait to see James again…” he admitted. “I really missed him.” 

Shay hummed, eyes and mouth closed as she washed the soap off her face. Shs dried her face and smiled at him. “I missed him too. How about, we go to the pool untill lunch, then nap and in the evening we will go souvenir shopping.” she said, leaning up to kiss his lips softly. “good morning baby.”

“Excellent idea.” William agreed, washing just face then leaning in to return Shay’s kiss. “Good morning.” he grinned. “So we have a plan. Let’s have breakfast first though… if this hangover won’t go away I will literally just go to sleep and not care at all about missing the plane tomorrow morning.” he said jokingly, and went to get dressed.

“put on your swimsuit, remember, we are going swimming after.” shay reminded him, taking her pijama off and putting on a robe, before going to check on their swimwear hanging to dry. she hummed a tune as she walked through the room, picking up discarded clothes and throwing them into their suitcase. 

a few minutes of slow, peaceful morning, when a knock sounded on the door. shay smiled, walking over and greeting the service man for bringing them their food, wheeling the cart into the room. “Here is your coffee, Babe. come here.” she smiled as she poured the brown liquid into a mug, placing it on the table for william before pouring one to herself, and sitting down to dring it slowly.

William brushed his teeth, combed his hair, then put on his swimsuit and a robe over it. When Shay called over to him he went out of the bathroom, smelling coffee in the air. “Ah good… I need coffee. And some food too.” he hummed happily, sitting down on the bed and grabbing the cup, pouring himself hot coffee from a metal pot that was brought to the room. “So do you want to go swim in the pool or are we driving to the beach?” he asked after finally taking a sip and feeling a bit more awake. 

Shay smiled and moved closer to him, sipping her own mug. “I thought that because we are both hangover, the pool will be more appreciated. Just relax and tan.. No driving around and stuff.” she said, taking a plate with scrambled eggs and bacon. “this is our last day.. And I want to be alone around my fiance for a bit longer.” she smiled sweetly up at him.

William already had a face stuffed full with croissants, and when Shay said she wants some more alone time he smiled in a really silly way. “Sounds lovely.” he mumbled as he finally swallowed the food and washed it down with coffee. Although, on the other hand, he missed his son, and couldn’t wait to be back in England and see him again. 

He leaned in and kissed her cheek. “But admit it, you’re also excited to go back home and start planning the wedding.” 

shay laughed at how silly he looked stuffed with food, biting into a crispy bacon. she hummed at the kiss, nodding her head as she took a forkfull into her own mouth. “hmhm, definitaly. and I miss James alot.” she said after swallowing, turning to look at him. 

“Im so excited, Will. It will be the best wedding ever. I already have so many ideas about what we will do. we need to figure out a date, though. we said spring, but.. when?” she asked, sipping her mug and looking at him from over the lip. 

As he finished his sweet pastries, William dug into a portion of scrambled eggs as well. He had hungover munchies for sure. He thought about Shay’s question for a moment, sipping his coffee. “Hmm… I would say maybe June? The weather then is more stable, we won’t have to worry about whether it will rain or not…” he pondered out loud. “Maybe we could even have a reception outside? There are some restaurants and venues that have open gardens… I think that would be nice.” 

Shay hummed, leaning back on the couch. “Maybe, early June. when its still nice outside, then we can have the rexeption outside! Oh, on the plane back I am going to hunt for the perfect venue. I want flowers and greens and.. and a nice, freeing feeling.”  she gushed, food forgotten on her plate. 

“oh, it will be great. but we have so much to do! we need to go taste cakes, and flowers, and chairs, and, oh! I need to go dress hunting! and you need a suit! and James, he will look so adorable. I need to choose who I want as my bridesmaids. Oh my god thats so much to think about im too hungover for it.” she whined at the end, rubbing her head as she sipped the rest of her coffee.

William laughed, finishing his coffee and dropping himself back onto the bed. “Yeah, we’re definitely too hangover to plan the wedding now. But don’t worry, I’m sure your sisters will help with all that. They were very excited when you showed them the ring.” he reminded. “Also… well, we don’t have to rush things. I want you to enjoy all of this planning, and not feel pressured.” he hummed, closing his eyes for a moment.

But of course he was excited too, and could already imagine their wedding and reception, and Shay in a beautiful dress, and James in small cute suit. 

“oh babe, I am not feeling pressured at all. And you will be a part of it, i know it will end up great.” she said, placing the mug and plate on the table, before grabbing a croissant and sitting next to william’s head and breaking pieces of the sweet treat, placing one in her mouth, before offering William the next one.

they fell into a nice, comfortable silence, enjoying being next to eachother, daydreaming about the wedding. it took shay a few minutes, but then she sat up straight. “lets get to the pool, before we will fall asleep and waste our last day alone together.” She said, standing up and going to change into her flowery bikini and a loose fitted dress. you are ready?” she asked, grabbig her sunglasses from her pruse and placing them on her nose.

William was already wearing his swimsuit, so he just took off the robe and put on shorts and t-shirt instead. He grabbed his sunglasses, because he was so hangover that the sun would probably kill him, or at least make his head explode. “Ready.” he nodded, grabbing a bottle of sunscreen and putting on flip-flops. “Let’s go.”

They took an elevator to the top floor of the hotel, and went out into the roof where the pool was. William wasted no time, undressing quickly and diving into the cool water. Ah, it was so pleasant. 

Shay followed after him happily, humming to herself as they rode up to the roof. when there, she sat down on one of the chairs, took off her dress and began appling the sunscreen on her arms. 

when she finished she walked to the edge of the pool with the sunscreen bottle in her hand, smiling down at william. “Babe, let me put this on your face and shoulders, or you will get burns with the hangover.” she said, smiling lovingly at the wet man.

“I love you too, silly.” William replied, kissing Mike’s jaw softly. He then reached for the remote, and pressed play, starting the movie. He also grabbed some candy to snack on, before snuggling back close to his alpha.

Mike happily sign and payed everything, smiling as he heard william purr during the whole process. Once they were done, he thanked the staff before leaving, humming softly. “we will. We should tell Eric and Alan about it too. And ask them to tire Violet as much as possible so we will have a silent night, for you to.. Show me.” he whispered, leaning in to kiss his lips softly as they stopped by the car.

William wrapped his arms around Mike’s neck, tip-toed, and kissed his lips sweetly. “I can’t believe it… we have a date and a place for the wedding. We need to start sending invitations soon! I’m so excited…” he hummed against the Alpha’s lips. “Let’s go, we will call Eric from the restaurant and ask them to sit with Violet for a while longer.”

Mike smiled, wrapping his arms around his hips. “i cant belive it either..“He whispered, chuckling softly.” alright babe. You know how to get there? “he asked, opening the door for william before getting in the driver’s seat.

“I do, I will type it into your GPS.” William quickly got into the car and typed in the directions for the restaurant that Nathaniel told him about.

As they drove, the omega continued to babble about the wedding. “So we just have to decide for the style of the invitations and we can send them out next week. Then we should find a tailor that will make you a suit. And of course we need to buy a tiny dress for Violet!”

Mike laughed softly at William’s excitement, nodding with him. “im sure Liza thought about it all, she probably have a book full with ideas.they should come tomorrow for dinner, we will tell them then.” he said, peeking at William while standing in a red light.

“Yes! I will text your sister right away!” William agreed, taking out his phone and typing a text to Liz, inviting her and her twin to dinner for the next day. And of course he mentioned that there will be wedding planning involved! He sent her a picture of the venue they just booked too. 

Once they got to the restaurant, and came inside, a waiter showed them to the table. While reading the menu William quickly called Alan to ask him to stay with Violet just a bit longer.

“Everything done.” the omega announced, putting the phone down finally. “Violet and Ronald are playing together nicely. We are good for the next couple hours.” 

mike smiled, gazing at williams excited face as he did his things with his phone. he helped william to the table, pulling his chair back and sitting in the other chair infront of him. he looked throught the menu while william was on the phone, already deciding on a few dishes he couldnt really pronounse right. he waited for william to finish, smiling softly at him.

“im glad they are doing good. and that we are good. i missed having free time, just the two of us.” he said, reaching across the table to hold his hand. “how are you, darling? are you excited to go back to work soon?” he asked, wishing to forget about the other stupid alpha, and the small amber of nervousness from all the wedding plans.

Once they ordered they food, William was more than glad to just relax and spend some alone time with Mike. He took his hand, smiling softly. “I’m excited but also a bit nervous. I hope Violet will be alright without me… and I know I will miss you all day long too.” he sighed. “But thanks to the therapy I am doing better so… I hope everything will be alright.” 

The waiter brought over some drinks and appetizers first, and so William took a sip of water, then began snacking a little. “Mm… the food is so good. Nathaniel was right.” 

Mike smiled, eyes glistening as he listened to william talking. “yeah? Im glad you listened to me about the therapy thing.. I am really worried about you.” he said, squeezing his hand. “and, dont worry about Viv. Im going to be home, and if anything happens, and nothing will, i will call you.” he promised, munching on a piece of bread.

“hm. I hate to say it, but yeah. It is good.” he mumbled.

“I know you’re worried. But I am doing better. You’ve been a huge support for me… I’m lucky to have you.” William smiled. Not all alphas would stay with their partners after all that has happened. But Mike was different, better than most. William loved him so so much…

Eventually, the waiter brought their order, and they began eating the proper meal. Everything was delicious, and the food was new and exotic to them. and William was particularly hungry, he always felt sleepy and hungry after the therapy session. 

“After we come back home, I really need a nap.” the omega hummed. 

“I am so happy you are.” He smiled, feeling so much better when william confirmed he was better. All he wanted was for William to be comforable, and be able to relax with and without him. 

Mike hummed as he ate, enjoying the new flavoures and basically shoveled food into his mouth. its not that he was super hungry, but when you are delicious food infront of you.. yeah, needless to say he loved the meal. 

“oh, when we get home we all are gonna crush into bed. I bet Violet will sleep all night as well.” He said around the bite in his mouth.

“For sure, after playing with Ronnie all day long she will be so tired, she will sleep like a rock.” William laughed, eating with appetite, tasting different bits that he had on his plate. He even ordered small dessert too, and a flavored iced tea. The good food and company of his beloved alpha was always putting William in good mood, no matter how upsetting or distressing the therapy session was. 

Once they finished the food and paid for the meal, William grabbed Mike’s hand as they were walking out of the restaurant. “Ah let’s go home, I missed Violet already. Can’t wait to pick her up.” 

“Oh, to sleep all night, what a feeling.” He laughed, and got back to eating. he enjoyed the food, but he couldnt stop thinking about the fact that Nathaniel was the one to offer william this place, and that william actually loved this. he didnt even think of taking william to a different restarount.

Alan and Eric told them that she was behaving very well all day long, but she didn’t want to nap at all. That actually wasn’t a problem, because William knew it will be even easier to put her to sleep in the evening. When they got home, Violet was already yawning, but seemed to be a little cranky too.

“Ah, I will take her upstairs and feed her before putting her to her crib.” William hummed. “Mike, could you go draw me a bath in the meantime?” 

When they got home, Mike helped by taking the diapers bag, and opening the door for them. When Violet yawned, he cooed, booping her nose to try and calm her a little. “Of course darling. Do you want with salt or bubbles?” he asked, walking up with william.

“Bubbles.” William smiled, standing on his tip-toes to kiss Mike’s lips. “Hey… you get in the bath too, and I will join you soon, okay?” he hummed. 

He then took Violet to her nursery, and sat with her in the chair to feed her. Poor tired baby, she was so sleepy that she almost dozed off with a breast in her mouth. William then quickly changed her into fresh onesie for sleeping, and put her into the crib. She was out so quickly, good girl.

Stretching and yawning himself, William walked out of the nursery, undressing on his way to the bathroom already.

I need to choose who I want as my bridesmaids. Oh my god thats so much to think about im too hungover for it.” she whined at the end, rubbing her head as she sipped the rest of her coffee.

William laughed, finishing his coffee and dropping himself back onto the bed. “Yeah, we’re definitely too hangover to plan the wedding now. But don’t worry, I’m sure your sisters will help with all that. They were very excited when you showed them the ring.” he reminded. “Also… well, we don’t have to rush things. I want you to enjoy all of this planning, and not feel pressured.” he hummed, closing his eyes for a moment.

But of course he was excited too, and could already imagine their wedding and reception, and Shay in a beautiful dress, and James in small cute suit. 

“oh babe, I am not feeling pressured at all. And you will be a part of it, i know it will end up great.” she said, placing the mug and plate on the table, before grabbing a croissant and sitting next to william’s head and breaking pieces of the sweet treat, placing one in her mouth, before offering William the next one.

they fell into a nice, comfortable silence, enjoying being next to eachother, daydreaming about the wedding. it took shay a few minutes, but then she sat up straight. “lets get to the pool, before we will fall asleep and waste our last day alone together.” She said, standing up and going to change into her flowery bikini and a loose fitted dress. you are ready?” she asked, grabbig her sunglasses from her pruse and placing them on her nose.

“I love you too, silly.” William replied, kissing Mike’s jaw softly. He then reached for the remote, and pressed play, starting the movie. He also grabbed some candy to snack on, before snuggling back close to his alpha. 

He felt content and relaxed. He always felt safe with Mike, and he loved it when they were close, spending time together like this, peacefully. 

Mike happily sign and payed everything, smiling as he heard william purr during the whole process. Once they were done, he thanked the staff before leaving, humming softly. “we will. We should tell Eric and Alan about it too. And ask them to tire Violet as much as possible so we will have a silent night, for you to.. Show me.” he whispered, leaning in to kiss his lips softly as they stopped by the car.

William wrapped his arms around Mike’s neck, tip-toed, and kissed his lips sweetly. “I can’t believe it… we have a date and a place for the wedding. We need to start sending invitations soon! I’m so excited…” he hummed against the Alpha’s lips. “Let’s go, we will call Eric from the restaurant and ask them to sit with Violet for a while longer.”

Mike smiled, wrapping his arms around his hips. “i cant belive it either..“He whispered, chuckling softly.” alright babe. You know how to get there? “he asked, opening the door for william before getting in the driver’s seat.

“I do, I will type it into your GPS.” William quickly got into the car and typed in the directions for the restaurant that Nathaniel told him about.

As they drove, the omega continued to babble about the wedding. “So we just have to decide for the style of the invitations and we can send them out next week. Then we should find a tailor that will make you a suit. And of course we need to buy a tiny dress for Violet!”

Mike laughed softly at William’s excitement, nodding with him. “im sure Liza thought about it all, she probably have a book full with ideas.they should come tomorrow for dinner, we will tell them then.” he said, peeking at William while standing in a red light.

“Yes! I will text your sister right away!” William agreed, taking out his phone and typing a text to Liz, inviting her and her twin to dinner for the next day. And of course he mentioned that there will be wedding planning involved! He sent her a picture of the venue they just booked too. 

Once they got to the restaurant, and came inside, a waiter showed them to the table. While reading the menu William quickly called Alan to ask him to stay with Violet just a bit longer.

“Everything done.” the omega announced, putting the phone down finally. “Violet and Ronald are playing together nicely. We are good for the next couple hours.” 

mike smiled, gazing at williams excited face as he did his things with his phone. he helped william to the table, pulling his chair back and sitting in the other chair infront of him. he looked throught the menu while william was on the phone, already deciding on a few dishes he couldnt really pronounse right. he waited for william to finish, smiling softly at him.

“im glad they are doing good. and that we are good. i missed having free time, just the two of us.” he said, reaching across the table to hold his hand. “how are you, darling? are you excited to go back to work soon?” he asked, wishing to forget about the other stupid alpha, and the small amber of nervousness from all the wedding plans.

Once they ordered they food, William was more than glad to just relax and spend some alone time with Mike. He took his hand, smiling softly. “I’m excited but also a bit nervous. I hope Violet will be alright without me… and I know I will miss you all day long too.” he sighed. “But thanks to the therapy I am doing better so… I hope everything will be alright.” 

The waiter brought over some drinks and appetizers first, and so William took a sip of water, then began snacking a little. “Mm… the food is so good. Nathaniel was right.” 

Mike smiled, eyes glistening as he listened to william talking. “yeah? Im glad you listened to me about the therapy thing.. I am really worried about you.” he said, squeezing his hand. “and, dont worry about Viv. Im going to be home, and if anything happens, and nothing will, i will call you.” he promised, munching on a piece of bread.

“hm. I hate to say it, but yeah. It is good.” he mumbled.

“I know you’re worried. But I am doing better. You’ve been a huge support for me… I’m lucky to have you.” William smiled. Not all alphas would stay with their partners after all that has happened. But Mike was different, better than most. William loved him so so much…

Eventually, the waiter brought their order, and they began eating the proper meal. Everything was delicious, and the food was new and exotic to them. and William was particularly hungry, he always felt sleepy and hungry after the therapy session. 

“After we come back home, I really need a nap.” the omega hummed. 

“I am so happy you are.” He smiled, feeling so much better when william confirmed he was better. All he wanted was for William to be comforable, and be able to relax with and without him. 

Mike hummed as he ate, enjoying the new flavoures and basically shoveled food into his mouth. its not that he was super hungry, but when you are delicious food infront of you.. yeah, needless to say he loved the meal. 

“oh, when we get home we all are gonna crush into bed. I bet Violet will sleep all night as well.” He said around the bite in his mouth.

“For sure, after playing with Ronnie all day long she will be so tired, she will sleep like a rock.” William laughed, eating with appetite, tasting different bits that he had on his plate. He even ordered small dessert too, and a flavored iced tea. The good food and company of his beloved alpha was always putting William in good mood, no matter how upsetting or distressing the therapy session was. 

Once they finished the food and paid for the meal, William grabbed Mike’s hand as they were walking out of the restaurant. “Ah let’s go home, I missed Violet already. Can’t wait to pick her up.” 

“Oh, to sleep all night, what a feeling.” He laughed, and got back to eating. he enjoyed the food, but he couldnt stop thinking about the fact that Nathaniel was the one to offer william this place, and that william actually loved this. he didnt even think of taking william to a different restarount. 

after they paid, and walked out, mike smiled down at william, kissing his cheek. “ i missed her too. i just wanted to say, willi. i enjoy this night alot, and we definitly should do it again. going out just the two of us again,” he said, squeezing his hand as they walked to the car, and opnening the door for him.

William’s heart was beating so hard and loud that for a moment he couldn’t hear anything else but the pulse in his ears. They were in Tuscany, on a trip for their first anniversary… there won’t be a more perfect moment to do that.

“Shay… I almost can’t believe that it’s been a whole year that we’re together. But from the moment I met you I knew you’re special, and amazing, and that I wanted you to become part of my life. And you did. We are now living together, James loves you and calls you ‘mom’… I think… there is only one more thing that I can do now.”

He swallowed, letting go of her hands and reaching into the pocket of his pants. He slowly lowered himself down onto one knee, and opened the little box that containted the engagement ring. “S-Shay…. will you marry me?”

Shay giggled, humming softly. “yeah, we better get up..” she said, sitting up slowly, groaning as the room span. “shit.. No way in hell im drinking beer. If i smell alcohol I will barf.” she whispered, closing her eyes and rubbing her temples. “what we need is.. A fat, warm breakfast…” she mumbled, reaching for the phone to order room service.

“You’re so gross.” William laughed and threw a pillow at Shay. “Yeah, breakfast sounds so good… order… sausages… and scrambled eggs… and toasts… and bacon…” he hummed, suddenly feeling his stomach growl. “And big pot of coffee. After that we should be fine. More or less.”

Shay laughed as the pillow hit her, throwing it back at him. “okay okay, I will..” she said, listing off everything william said to the room service on the phone, thanking them before hanging up. “alright baby.. Im going to brush my teeth.” she said, smiling as she stood up slowly and headed to the bathroom.

“Aahh me too, because I want to kiss you, and I imagine it would be terrible now.” William chuckled, rolling off the bed. He followed Shay to the bathroom, his pyjama pants sliding off a bit, a flash of his bare ass showing. They both stood in front of the mirror and brushed their teeth. “So hey… if we cure our hangover, we are still going to the pool today, right?”

“aw babe I want to kiss you too.” she smiled, grabbing a stray shirt on their way and pulling it on. Apparently it was William’s so it hang from her shoulder as she button it up. “of course! It was our last day planning.” she said, after spitting out the paste and moving to wash her face.

“Good…. swimming does sound nice even while hangover.” William hummed, brushing his teeth thoroughly, then spitting the paste out as well. “And we need to remember about buying souvenirs. It’s kind of a shame that that our vacation is close to be over, but I actually can’t wait to see James again…” he admitted. “I really missed him.” 

Shay hummed, eyes and mouth closed as she washed the soap off her face. Shs dried her face and smiled at him. “I missed him too. How about, we go to the pool untill lunch, then nap and in the evening we will go souvenir shopping.” she said, leaning up to kiss his lips softly. “good morning baby.”

“Excellent idea.” William agreed, washing just face then leaning in to return Shay’s kiss. “Good morning.” he grinned. “So we have a plan. Let’s have breakfast first though… if this hangover won’t go away I will literally just go to sleep and not care at all about missing the plane tomorrow morning.” he said jokingly, and went to get dressed.

“put on your swimsuit, remember, we are going swimming after.” shay reminded him, taking her pijama off and putting on a robe, before going to check on their swimwear hanging to dry. she hummed a tune as she walked through the room, picking up discarded clothes and throwing them into their suitcase. 

a few minutes of slow, peaceful morning, when a knock sounded on the door. shay smiled, walking over and greeting the service man for bringing them their food, wheeling the cart into the room. “Here is your coffee, Babe. come here.” she smiled as she poured the brown liquid into a mug, placing it on the table for william before pouring one to herself, and sitting down to dring it slowly.

William brushed his teeth, combed his hair, then put on his swimsuit and a robe over it. When Shay called over to him he went out of the bathroom, smelling coffee in the air. “Ah good… I need coffee. And some food too.” he hummed happily, sitting down on the bed and grabbing the cup, pouring himself hot coffee from a metal pot that was brought to the room. “So do you want to go swim in the pool or are we driving to the beach?” he asked after finally taking a sip and feeling a bit more awake. 

Shay smiled and moved closer to him, sipping her own mug. “I thought that because we are both hangover, the pool will be more appreciated. Just relax and tan.. No driving around and stuff.” she said, taking a plate with scrambled eggs and bacon. “this is our last day.. And I want to be alone around my fiance for a bit longer.” she smiled sweetly up at him.

William already had a face stuffed full with croissants, and when Shay said she wants some more alone time he smiled in a really silly way. “Sounds lovely.” he mumbled as he finally swallowed the food and washed it down with coffee. Although, on the other hand, he missed his son, and couldn’t wait to be back in England and see him again. 

He leaned in and kissed her cheek. “But admit it, you’re also excited to go back home and start planning the wedding.” 

shay laughed at how silly he looked stuffed with food, biting into a crispy bacon. she hummed at the kiss, nodding her head as she took a forkfull into her own mouth. “hmhm, definitaly. and I miss James alot.” she said after swallowing, turning to look at him. 

“Im so excited, Will. It will be the best wedding ever. I already have so many ideas about what we will do. we need to figure out a date, though. we said spring, but.. when?” she asked, sipping her mug and looking at him from over the lip. 

As he finished his sweet pastries, William dug into a portion of scrambled eggs as well. He had hungover munchies for sure. He thought about Shay’s question for a moment, sipping his coffee. “Hmm… I would say maybe June? The weather then is more stable, we won’t have to worry about whether it will rain or not…” he pondered out loud. “Maybe we could even have a reception outside? There are some restaurants and venues that have open gardens… I think that would be nice.” 

Shay hummed, leaning back on the couch. “Maybe, early June. when its still nice outside, then we can have the rexeption outside! Oh, on the plane back I am going to hunt for the perfect venue. I want flowers and greens and.. and a nice, freeing feeling.”  she gushed, food forgotten on her plate. 

“oh, it will be great. but we have so much to do! we need to go taste cakes, and flowers, and chairs, and, oh! I need to go dress hunting! and you need a suit! and James, he will look so adorable. I need to choose who I want as my bridesmaids. Oh my god thats so much to think about im too hungover for it.” she whined at the end, rubbing her head as she sipped the rest of her coffee.
