Drawings I made for @bbsartboutique. I really like your drawings man, they’re very lively and playful! I hope you like this one, I spend quite a lot of time on it.

I don’t know if you know me at all, but I’m not doing so well sadly, I barely have any followers and it seems I can’t get my old followers back from my previous tumblr. I’m not very good at getting followers, this is the first time I reach out for some help, and I picked you because you seem to draw fairly similar stuff. Maybe you can help me out a little?

Quick update~!

Hey everyone! I finally have everything all set up and sorted at my new place! The next few days I’m going to be doing some personal art to spruce up the tumblr and my picarto, and then we’ll be getting back to the regularly scheduled programming! Commissions will open! Soon. <3

Explanation

Hey guys. I think I should explain why I haven’t been as active as before. This would explain the lack of art as well as getting back my files from my old computer and why it’s hard to do that as of now. Let’s start from the beginning

Around Thanksgiving night, I left my main work computer in the kitchen while some of my family members were having fun and a bit intoxicated. After using the bathroom, I came back and grabbed my computer to go to put it away and go to bed. The next morning I realized when opening it, that the paneling where the keyboard is was coming up and I could see the inner works of my computer. Not good already. (To put this into perspective for everyone to show how important this computer is. It has all the files of all the sketches and drawings that are on Kribbles, but also works from a year and a half.) I didn’t treat it like anything because so long as it worked (which it did) I was fine. Skipping ahead to later December, on Christmas. I went to see my family where the computer got damaged. We were opening out presents and giving gifts to each other and when I opened my present, it was a new computer. I was a tiny bit upset because I had said my computer was fine and it was a waste of money and to not buy me a new one multiple times to them, but it ended up shutting me up real quick when I went home the same day. I went to actually make a folder to save all of my files and then transfer them to the new computer, but as I was doing that, the computer died. I went to charge it but it weirdly wasn’t working. I looked to see the charging port (because I can lift the paneling) and to my horror, I saw that the little red wire to have a connection to the computer to charge it was broken. I started to panic a little bit and contacted my commissioners to tell them what happened. They were all understanding and I thank them for being understanding in this time.

Now for the next part-

My home life really isn’t the best. I love my mother but to be blunt, she makes bad choices with relationships and her boyfriend has put me through hell for five years now, which has also changed her and made us argue an insane amount. I’m not perfect but the situation was extremely toxic and I needed to get away from it. Luckily for me because of a few thing, I was able to not take this semester of college and opt’d out to go full time in the summer. I wanted to get a job and work and do more art but a big reason was to get out of the house and start my life instead of being held back.

My grandmother had recently moved back to NY after a few years of being away, but because of how toxic my family can be, she didn’t want to put up with it and she moved down to Connecticut. She offered me to come down here for a while but I would always brush it off as nothing because I knew I didn’t have the courage to, but around the very end of December, my mother was trying to basically push me out to go to my grandmothers because I was doing nothing in her mind even though I cleaned and did things around the house and cooked for myself. (Drawing as well. Which is kind of my own form of self employment at this point) I had reached my last straw and went over to my grandmothers and helped her out for a week to move into the new house she has. A week became a week and a half and I noticed how much happier I was and how things were. My mother when calling me even commented on happy I sounded and with that, I decided to stay here in Connecticut for my break from school. 

Now the third part-

Because of the sudden move but also because I’m working over here but also going back and forth for things and other personal stuff. Ordering and external hard drive has been weird, but I think either this week or next week, I will be able to go to a computer store and get one but on top of that, my grandmothers boyfriend is offering me a very good computer system all for free for me if I go to New York with him, which I have no problem with because he’s family and I love him.

To put it short and not make this go any longer-

It’s taken a while to reach this point and a lot of things have been going on. I’m not normally one to type this much or talk about myself so publicly like this, but I wanted people to understand why there is such a huge delay and what’s going on, because I think you guys deserve to know that.
