    NAEUN COULD NOT HELP BUT be curious of the other shop that had opened just down the block. She never had rivals before so this would be a new start for her. At first, she was never too interested in these sort of competitions, but Ahri seemed to have caused a bit turmoil within the elf’s head. She could not help but to think... Is this shop better? Was she lacking? Could she be better? Ahri, being the friend that she was, reassured her that she had nothing to worry about, but how can she do so at this point? 

    SHE HAD ALREADY MET THE owner, the way he walked in the first day that the other shop had open. His confidence, the air about him. He was a strong opponent for sure. However, this was a first for Naeun to step foot into new territory, into another flower shop. She was nervous and he probably could smell it. The way he grin, the way he poked fun at her. She could not lie, she felt a bit of a boil starting from within. 

    ❝ I WILL NOT LIE, I HAVE NOT seen anything to my standards. ❞ Her voice left her plump lips, a bit of agitation lingering within her words. Her sweet smile still plastered on her features though as her emerald hues gazed at the other pair. She kept her hands to herself, wrapping around her torso as her orbs then gazed over to the flowers. ❝ I was curious and thought I should stop by. ❞ She bit her bottom lip, preventing herself from speaking more. Ahri had taught her on how to be rude, how to be selfish, how to hurt others, but this was not in the nature of the pure elf. She did not want to hurt him, whether her words would or not.

He could not put a finger on it, but it may be to his imaginations. She looked normal to his eyes, but what dwells within this girl? Jongin examined the other, being as discreet as possible as well. He does not want to come off as rude, but curiosity was getting the better of him. ❝ And what are you gifted with? ❞

    HE NEEDED TO KNOW MORE. HE was curious. Fixing his posture again, he gazed at the other before shrugging. ❝ Well, I appreciate the fact that you are willing to tell me everything. Giving me a warning, but I have no where else to go... You see, I have a home, but I am pretty sure they know where I live by now, am I right? Where am I supposed to go to? ❞

    ❝ DO YOU HAVE A PLACE TO HIDE ME? ❞

     ❝ HUI! ❞ AHRI GRABBED THE OTHER as she felt the other’s anger brew within. A sigh left her lips as she shook her head slightly. Usually it would be the other way around. She would be screaming her head off, threaten to ripe that man into shreds and even going as far as to draining the life force out of him, but she could not. She could not when she knew her friend is blowing her top off as well. ❝ It’s fine. I did screw him over in a sense... He’s not wrong, but I’m sorry you had to be dragged into this. ❞ 

    HE DEFINITELY DID GO OVER THE top though. Going so far as to insult Hui... He would not be forgiven. She will definitely pay him a visit tonight. ❝ Let’s just forget about it and enjoy the rest of the day. We just got our nails done too... We wouldn’t want to ruin it over that trash. Come on, let’s go and enjoy the day! ❞

    HE WAS NOT MUCH OF A COOK to his standards, but one could easily follow a recipe. The recipe was not too hard, but it was a good dish and the other seem to be enjoying it as much as he does. A chuckle escaped his lips as he shook his head, her silliness never fading even at the happiest moments before he leaned back in his seat.  

    ❝ WELL, I’M GLAD IT IS UP TO your standards. It does not taste too bad. ❞ He gave her a little shrug. He leaned over, the tip of his finger pressed against her chin as he guided her head to face him. ❝ What do I get in return though? ❞ He teased, a cheeky grin plastered on his features before he pulled his hand back before she can retaliate.

    HER HEAD LEANED INTO HIS TOUCH as he cupped her cheeks, her cheeks puffing up slightly in response as her blue orbs gazed at the other. He was always so against taking her to his place and she sometimes wondered why. What was he hiding? Curiosity grew, but she respected him. She liked him, loved him. Enough to drop all thoughts. She did not want to bother him, burden him. More than she had already done so. 

    SHE SMILED BEFORE GIVING A SMALL nodded, satisfied with the idea that he will stay the night before she grabbed his hand gently, fiddling with his fingers before her cheeks gave out a small hue of pink. 

    ❝ I... MEAN... YOU CAN SLEEP WITH ME on the bed... ❞ Her cheeks fumed red at her statement before she shook her head rapidly. How can she ask such a vulgar suggestion? This was not like her at all. However, the idea that the man was going to sleep on the couch did not sit well with her. She wanted him to sleep comfortably. ❝ AH! ❞ She covered her face, feeling extremely shy at her statement before she peaked between her digits, gazing at the other.

    ❝ I MEAN... I-I ALSO HAVE A SPARE bedroom if you want to relax in there... ❞ She muttered, clearing her throat slight before she swiftly walked over to the cup of hot chocolate she had made for them, sipping at it— facing away from Hoseok as embarrassment grew within her being.

    DAMP, COLD. THE SCENT OF THE RAIN hit her senses as they ran for cover. Her body was drenched in water, her hair sticking to the cheeks as her clothes clung onto her body. She tried to wring as much water out of her clothes as possible, but to no avail. She thought it was going to be sunny, warm. But she thought wrong. Now she was in this predicament with the other, drenched and cold. 

    SHE WRAPPED THE LEATHER JACKET that he had given around her lithe body, her head gazing up at the other as a smile than graced her features. He always knew how to put a smile on her face from his actions. He always knew. 

    ❝ I’LL BE ALL RIGHT, DON’T WORRY about me! ❞ She chuckled as her hand gently moved to wipe away at the droplets gliding down his features. He was sweet and always knew how to reach to her heart. It sent her fluttering. Before she can deal with his hair, she felt his strong grip around her shoulders, guiding her to a more sheltered area away from the rain and she could not help but to lean into his warmth to protect herself from the cold.

    ❝ ALL RIGHT, WILL YOU BE STAYING for a bit? You should at least take a bath or something... You might catch a cold. ❞

He just wanted to see her crash, burn. Yet, here she is, perfect as can be. He hated it. ❝ Did you even like the guy? ❞ The words were laced with spite.

HIS INTEREST WAS THINNING. THE IDEA that the female was not broken due to the result of their actions was not luring him in anymore. He sighed, shrugging slightly before a smirk graced his features. She was a beauty but all his efforts seem to have gone to waste, but there were others he could destroy. He did want to taste what despair from a kitsune would taste, but alas... It seemed that his goal were not going to be met anytime soon. ❝ Not as tempting as before. ❞
