Ours argued that since my friend can walk around their home, they're not disabled enough. Mind you, they can walk around their home because they made it accessible.
Same. I tried to get assistance for transit and they determined since I could get around my home I could therefore traverse the city. Sure yeah that's the same thing.
I was denied disability and told I could work in a post office with gaping, painful wounds and being unable to bend over or lift anything and needing to frequently go be sick. The reason why was ‘well, they legally have to accommodate everyone and you do work from home just fine.’
Like my work from home isn’t vastly different than a post office. Including but not limited to multiple emesis bags around my desk, sitting and not moving very much, privacy to be visibly unwell, able to take days to weeks off in a flare up without losing my job, and being immunocompromised I won’t just straight up die of COVID because I’m at home.

Boycott Eurovision
Just to also add, this song was originally called "October Rain" and it is 100% Israeli propaganda, they were forced to change the lyrics because they were too political, and so they censored it so it could bypass the rules.
“The president emphasised that at this time in particular, when those who hate us seek to push aside and boycott the state of Israel from every stage, Israel must sound its voice with pride and its head high and raise its flag in every world forum, especially this year,” KAN said.
Taken from euronews. They also tried submitting another propaganda song called "Dance Forever" but that was rejected.
Boycott Eurovision.

This is how we’ve written him in the past. And with so much pleasure. :)
For those still struggling with the sentence, let me rephrase it:

Remember in 2010 when Taio Cruz said "I throw my hands up in the air sometimes"? I appreciated his restraint. You can't just throw your hands up in the air whenever. There's a time and a place, and that time was 2010, and the place was the club.

i remember adults telling me, as a kid, to listen to doctors and get my flu vaccine and any shots i could because they remembered Before.
then they started fighting Covid precautions.
i remember adults telling me, as a kid, that the ozone was disappearing and the earth was dying and we needed to recycle and save the planet.
now my parents think climate change is a myth.
i remember adults telling me, as a kid, that racism was a plague, that we had to love and accept everyone, that we should never judge before walking a mile in their shoes.
then they told me that protesting for my Black siblings was wrong.
i remember adults telling me, as a kid, that we needed to give to the poor. working at soup kitchens. making quilts. collecting food and money and supplies. building houses. because it was the christian and just plain right thing to do.
now they look at me, on food stamps with their grandchildren, and lament the "welfare state".
i remember adults telling me, as a kid, that it was easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than a rich man to enter the Kingdom of Heaven and that any rich man, especially an immoral one, should never run our country.
you can guess who they voted for.
i remember adults telling me, as a kid, so very much.
when did they forget?
Time to bring this back. Again.
Apparently this is evergreen. Dammit.
I remember adults telling me, as a kid that girls can be equal to boys in all fields including athletics. Now, they consider girls to be delicate flowers who could never hope to compete against boys.
