I will say, for me the ‘old gal’ vibes are so strong and I’m here for it. Like when Goji blasts his atomic breath into the sky at the end and she’s looking at it with such awe and her cute super gummy smile, it reminds me of when a grandma gets shown some common piece of technology that the rest of us are used to, but she just can’t heckin believe it because she lives in a damn cave??? I loved that.

hallo! it's no worries at all, im happy to explain!

afaik it's a term thats become all-encompassing for like, 'non-humanoid thing gets turned into a humanoid design' ? like anything from kaiju to inanimate objects lmao

for me personally i've been using the term gijinka over 'human' because most of my designs are more like humanoid hybrids, where features from their kaiju designs are present to some degree or another. whereas like, i also have designs in mind for a straight up modern human au, without the hybrid elements, if that makes sense?

with the lore im lowkey building in the bg for my gijinkas, they're sorta demigod type figures, which is why their designs lean towards a kinda royal fantasy vibe ?? idk how to describe it but they're wearing fruity ass shiet instead of tshirts n jeans cuz they're existing in a full on au rather than a place in our world type thing

ok ill stfu now but yeah i hope that makes sense!!

ahh i'm happy to provide a lil boost :'') i get a lot of seratonin drawing em so its nice to hear it does the same for others!!! <3 here's my recs from a while back, i really should deep dive back onto the mosugoji tag again and see what's new since it's been a while. honestly i wrote a fic for a completely separate fandom and it's so unholy i'll never say what it is bUT i really enjoyed writing it and got really sweet feedback so i'm considering making a second acct to write some mosugoji drabbles to help flesh out more of their dynamic?? i have so many hc ideas for interactions i just dont have the time to draw everything out in comic format.... PERHAPSSS we'll see

I wanted to find the people who made the comics that some people dubbed awhile back when I watched them! (With credit of course!) And you and another artist by the name of Ruubesz are a HUGE driving point for my hyperfixation happening in the first place and I couldn't thank y'all enough! okok sOOOO. this is my personal au. it's a soupy amalgamation of monsterverse lore, toho lore, and a whole lot of bs i made up.

>goji & spacegoji (i call him kesshō bcuz sg feels too impersonal and he deserves a real name) are basically clone-half siblings (i have a lot of bs lore involving bio to explain this but it's a whole different thing i dont wanna flood this post with lol) >mosu & battra aren't related, but definitely have that Found Family dynamic (battra is a mutated divine moth, so the same species as mothra, but some funky hollow earth stuff made him mutate when his egg left stasis and began to develop again)

and for some Bonus Starter Propaganda: goji n kesshō are chill by the time battra emerges, so goji bothers him to hang out when mosu n battra have their Moth Therapy sessions. that's how kesshō first sees battra and has one of those gay ass tsundere dokidoki moments and is instantly smitten but pretends not to be, runs in the family bcuz goji did the exact same thing with mosu goji bullies him into shooting his shot and gets mosu on his team so they become the main cheerleaders for the ship sailing. spacebat in general has a much longer slowburn than mosugoji since battra is a lot more prone to lashing out than mosu is, so there's no Mediator Moth to quell the gojiran moodiness lol. but eventually it works out and they Become The Gay. they're not as disgustingly PDA as mosugoji but are definitely touchstarved asf so once they bridge that contact gap they're kinda glued at the hip :'')

anyways i have more cookin but that's enuf for now if anyone wants to brainstorm more ideas abt them hiT ME UP im starving for more
