Summary: Power is out all throughout the Devildom on an unexpectedly cold night. According to Lucifer, Mammon is out helping the post office, which was exceptionally busy around the holiday season. Of course, they care about their beloved brother, so they do a little extra for when he gets home.

The brothers were all in the living room because there was a severe power outage, and Lucifer wanted the brothers to be together so nothing bad happens. However, Mammon was the only one not there, which worried Beel the most.

"Where is Mammon? Is he lost in the weather?"

Of course, Beel knows that Mammon can retain body heat pretty well, that's the reason why he's considered one of the portable heaters among the brothers aside from the Avatar of Gluttony himself.

"Didn't he say that he was out delivering packages because it's the holidays?" Satan recalls, underneath piles of blankets, although there weren't many because Asmo took most of them.

"Ughh.. I just want the power to turn back on.." Levi complains, staring at his dead game console.

"Beel, be a dear and come here so I can stay warm!" Asmo pleads, almost demands. This is shut down by Belphie immediately as he glares holes into his older brother, clinging onto Beel for dear life.

Beel looks at Lucifer in concern, not focused on the squabble Belphie and Asmo were having.

"Do you think Mammon will be back soon?"

This makes me happy

Mammon is simply the most logical choice (out of the brothers) to be honest

Out of all the brothers, he's the only one who hasn't genuinely threatened the player, or harmed the player in any way (I count Asmo wanting to charm us as "harm" cause, well, come on). Not only that, but he fell for the player almost immediately. Like, head over heels puppy love type shit. The ones who didn't like us genuinely didn't like us until we did something they liked. In the grand scheme of things, and for lack of a better term, Mammon provided a relatively "safe space" for the player. He's also the only one who actually cried when Belphie hurt us, and I 100% believe if the game didn't basically force us to forgive Belphie, Mammon would have been extremely protective of us and would probably have plenty of resentment for his little brother.

Also, sidenote, I hate Belphie for what he did lol and it pisses me off that the game doesn't let you hate him LMAO

I'm not judging or criticizing anyone who has chosen other brothers as their favorite, by the way, this is just kind of an observation I had lol

Aftermath of the Mammon fumble!

(ALT TITLE: Aftermath of Barbatos calling Mammon 'dear')

Mammon had sat in his seat, putting his bag down beside him. When he finally looked up, he saw everyone in the room staring at him, and he was confused. After a few moments, he had noticed what he did wrong: He called Barbatos 'Babe' instead of Barbie.

Mammon was embarassed, but he acted like nothing was wrong. Barbatos walked back to behind Diavolo while the princes eyes followed his movements like a stalker. Lucifer was the onlly one who was visibly angry, the others were just surprised or confused.

"What did you just call my brother?" He sharply asked, eyeing Barbatos intensly.

"Woahwoahwoah WOAH!" Levi sputtered. "Whats happening?!"

"The WHOLE time we did parties and baking lessons you were dating Mammon?!" Luke conflictedly exclaimed.

"No way! Why did you never tell us, Mammon?!" Asmodeus yelled.

"That is just messed. up." Satan said, disgust visible on his face.

Everyone chattering and yelling, bombarding either Barbatos or Mammon with questions. Both demons were trying their best not to laugh as the comments got more and more far off from what was really happening.

"Silence!" Lucifer shouts, shocking everyone into silence. Everyone sat down, and Barbatos couldn't help but chuckle. "Barbatos," he said sternly. "Explain yourself. Now."

Barbatos chuckled. Then he turned red. His eyes started to water. He was holding in his laugh with all his might as he covered his mouth with his gloved hand. He almost was able to stop and answer, but Mammon just had to speak.

"Big bro, there ain't nothin' to explain. He my ken, and he be enterin’ my dreamhouse if you know what i mean.”

That was Barbatos’ last straw.

By this point, they had figured this was all a joke. But this, this was unexpected

That was the first time anyone had seen Barbatos lose his composure, and you bet Mammon was proud he was the one who made him lose it.

Barbatos losing his cool is not something you see everyday
